Mtima'safi had finally left the Pridelands again, and was pleased to find that it was much easier the second time than it was the first time. Perhaps it was leaving on good terms with everyone, she'd be able to see a couple of the lions she'd hoped to see and managed to have a nice time with her son. She even missed seeing the one lioness she hoped not to see there, but now she still wanted to know why Amadet had been looking for her for.. she had to settle whatever was going through that girl's mind, before she did something stupid.

Where to start looking for her was the question, though. Start near the Pridelands, the goddess figured, but even then there were so many directions and so many places that could easily be overlooked.. The only logical thing to do was to find some wanderers who might have seen a lioness fitting her description, so the goddess was out and about keeping her eyes open for such potential helpers.

If a dark grey lion complete with coral hair and cyan gauntlets had seen a brown lioness of a particular kind, the answer was "they all look the same." Truth of the matter was that he didn't bother to distinguish between lionesses. He was cursed and he was bitter. And they were all the same, mocking and scorning him. Pitying him not for the way he was now but for the way they imagined he was once. He didn't want their pity or their scorn. So he threw taunts and mean words at them, the best he could do for a shield.

But right now he was alone, sulking under the shade of a rock. He had killed a lizard that had decided to inspect his bulk that made the lizard think it was night and Kioo had shown the lizard that he should have respected Kioo. That is, Kioo killed the lizard. He poked lazily at it now, although it was dead. After killing it, he didn't feel like eating it. It looked too tough and lean for him to bother. Deciding the point of his hiding place was gone, he trekked out into the open, heading towards what he hoped was a waterhole, not paying any attention to the yellow body that wasn't too far away.

It was a slow search for the goddess, or it had been until she spotted something moving nearby- it was a dark lion, though his mane was considerably lighter and helped him to stand out. Fortunately, she couldn't get a very good look at him from the distance she was at or she might have avoided him all together- except where she was looking around to see if anyone might help her in her hunt. So with a friendly smile on her face, she headed towards the stranger.

"Excuse me!" she called out to him, hoping to stop him for a chat.

He paused, an eyebrow cocked. Slowly he turned his head over his shoulder to look to the yellow lioness. His face displayed his clear displeasure at being caught. He wasn't exactly inclined to be friendly. His curse instructed him to help those in need but he didn't really want to. The less he interacted, the less he had to do ANYTHING. And he was perfectly content to be bitter and alone.

"Yea?" he drawled in a disinterested tone.

The goddess was usually not inclined to speak to those who looked unfriendly, especially on the level that she could see. However, this was a special circumstance and by the time she got close enough to really get a good look at him it was too late. When she could see him fully, and when he answered in such an uninviting tone, she came to full stop not too far from him. She immediately seemed to lose her friendly demeanor.

"Oh," she mumbled, then drew herself up importantly before continuing, "I was wondering if you might have seen a lioness I am looking for." She explained herself simply, looking him over. Interesting.

((I wasn't sure if she would appear in goddess form or without wings so I tried to stay away from saying it is either)

Eh, another searching wanderer? He wasn't very inclined to helping others but fact of the matter was, she looked powerful and under the circumstances, he was not. And he had no plans to upset another powerful creature, immortal or not. He hadn't done ANYTHING to the goddess of justice when she had decided to curse him.

"I don't really pay attention," he admitted blandly. "But go ahead, shoot. Maybe it'll jog a memory." Doubtful but whatever. He was trying to be helpful and that was what counted right? And of course, the sooner he got this over with, the sooner he'd be on his "merry" way.

(( She's been refusing to hide who she is for awhile now, so her wings are definitely showing :3 ))

Still rather surprised at what she had somehow managed to find, she was silent for a moment as he admitted he didn't pay attention to passersby but invited her to try anyway. She smiled at him, opting to be nice despite whatever she saw on the inside of him and his disinterest in actually helping her.

"I am looking for a lioness by the name of Amadet," she said and shifted her wings so the marking on her shoulder could easily be seen, turning to he could see it, "She has this marking on her shoulder, though she is white and brown in color."
