 White colored wings flapped lightly against the cool current. Chocolate brown eyes gazed down below as he started to make his landing. He was sure night time was when others would surely come out. He only hoped his guess was right, and that beautiful female angelics would come to meet him there. Oh, how he longed for the company of a beautiful lady. To breathe in her intoxicating scent while nuzzling her soft maw...Yes, he craved company now more than ever.
Soft royal blue colored paws tapped against the ground as he made his landing. His eyes once again peered over for any signs of life. With a soft sigh, there was nothing. It was hard keeping his hopes up. Since he got here he found no female company. Even though he befriended a few other angelics among normal Kitsus, he craved some female angelic company. He wanted to be in the presence of some beautiful girl.
With his head dipped rather lower than usual, he headed towards the HQ. He hoped inside there was someone there, at this point he cared which gender. Just someone to talk to, a companion or some company. How depressing.

 Demeter finished clearing the last of dinner from the Dining Room. Being able to materialize food at will made her a popular commodity in the Kitchen, and Demeter enjoyed being able to spend time with the Kitsus that poured into the HQ.
It was quiet now, most of the Kitsus were sensibly sleeping, but Demeter always attempted to leave out food for any night owls who might wander in. Concentrating, she swished her tail, and a line of simple fare appeared on the tables. Hearty breads, cheese, fruit, smoked meat and fish, preserves, and a jug of water. She observed the table with satisfaction, called her little squirrel down from the rafters and began to head out of the HQ for a little flying before bed.
However, upon opening the door to go out, she noticed another Kitsu trying to come in. Not having the best night vision, she simply smiled warmly and held the door open to let them in before heading out herself, not realizing that he was an Angelic like herself.

As if the Gods above answered his prayers, as he walked through the door his gaze turned to the female passing by him. He could instinctively tell she was a female. It was as if he had those sort of senses built within. No, female was not worthy to describe her. Goddess was more like it. Her beautiful, soft autumn colored coat with that warm smile was everything he could ask for. The little pumpkin vines braiding her hair in such a cute manner. He was definitely head over heels for her. There was no way he was going to let this beautiful Goddess slip through his paws without at least a name. Such a beautiful creature...he felt as if he was dreaming.
"Ah, wait, please!" He called out quickly, a paw reaching out to grab her shoulders. Chocolate brown eyes gazed dreamily at her painted figure. She even had a cute little squirrel companion with her. Irresistabily adorable!

As the other Kitsu passed into the brighter light of the HQ, Demeter could see that he was an Angelic! Demeter was always pleased to see Angelics, and she debated stopping to say hello, and was about to do so, when she heard him speak. There was a soft touch on her shoulder, and she turned to look at him, a little surprised, for she guessed that he'd also wanted to talk to her. What a coincidence!
"Good evening!" she said, the warm smile brightening. He was a handsome blue Angelic with white markings all over him, and bright white wings, and Demeter thought he was quite cute. She closed the HQ door and turned to him, squirrel climbing one wing to leap to the rafters again, seeing that his companion wasn't going to leave just yet. "I'm Demeter. It's nice to see another Angelic around here."

Oh great Gods. Her warm smile just filled him with all sorts of happy feelings. He just wanted to embrace her and keep her in his arms while telling her how cute and dazzling she was! Fencer wanted to know all about her, each little sparkling detail about her. She seemed so perfect in every way. He was entranced by her.
"Good evening to you, beautiful Demeter," he bowed, "I am Fencer. It is always nice to see other Angelics around. Especially one as wonderful as you," he said as he lifted up his head, a smile glued to his face. "And same to you, little squirrel. So, what brings you two here on this wonderous evening?"

Demeter giggled at Fencer's words. From above their heads, the squirrel chattered at Fencer, tail flicking. Demeter shushed him, giggling. It was wonderful to meet such a friendly Angelic.
"You flatter me!" she exclaimed, delighted. "We just finished cleaning up in the Dining Hall. I was going to go for a short flight, but I'm perfectly happy to spend time in the company of such a genteel Kitsu!"
Thinking, Demeter recalled that there was a nice secluded spot not far from the HQ. Maybe she could fit her nightly flight in, too? She brought her attention back to Fencer.
"I know a nice little grotto just a short flight away. Would you care to join me there?" she asked sweetly.

Her laughter was music to his ears. So sweet and alluring, almost like a Siren's song. If he were a sailor and she a siren, he would gladly follow her enchanting song even if it meant certain death. On top of all that she welcomed his company. This was surely a sign! A sign meant to be. Oh please tell me she is availble...
Dipping into a bow, he replied sweetly, "But of course. I would be more than glad to acompany you there. Just lead the way and I will follow, even to the ends of the world," he winked.

He winked and Demeter felt her heart flutter a little. It was very nice to meet another Angelic, but Fencer was starting to stir feelings that she hadn't felt for another Kitsu in a long time. She giggled again, and called her squirrel down from the rafters. It landed lightly upon her back, and disappeared into Demeter's tails.
"That's wonderful!" she said to Fencer. "It looks like such a lovely night for flying." She led the way out of the warm light of the HQ into the cool light of the moon. With a beat of her wings, she was aloft in the night air, feeling the wind rush against her umber feathers. Tilting her wings just so, she circled, waiting for Fencer to join her.

Fencer nodded, his wings opening wide as he prepared for flight. Silver wings flapped rapidly as he pushed himself off the ground. His body titled upward as his wings continued to beat. Slowly but surely he caught up to his so-called 'goddess'. "It's even more so lovely because of you," he teased.
"So where is this nice little grotto you spoke of? Certainly it can't be as nice as you?" He grinned from ear to ear. She made him all better in a matter of seconds. With just one glance all his sorrows melted away. Demeter was certainly something, definitely a goddess in his eyes at least.

Demeter laughed as Fencer continued to shower her with flattery. Her flying echoed her pleasure as she looped around Fencer, the tip of her tails almost touching his wings as she passed.
"Charmer!" she teased back, fluttering her eyelashes a bit. Part of her couldn't believe she was flirting with him, but the rest of her enjoyed this change of pace. With a quick flip of her wings, she shot away to the West, calling back over her shoulder. "Keep up with me, and you'll see!"

He was sure if the tip of her tail touched him, he would explode right then and there into infinite amounts of joy. It was probably a good thing she didn't, or else he would've lost balance and probably injured herself. Though, he might enjoy being nursed back to health by this beautiful lady. A goddess as a nurse? Double the charming points in his books.
Those emerald colored eyes were so hard to resist. He wanted to keep gazing into them until the ends of time. But he could do that once they got to the nice little grotto she spoke of. "As you wish!" He called out as he gained speed.
