Thanks to Eirwyn for giving me this great idea!
The Gaia OMG Widget is pretty new, and it's supposed to give you items if you do enough stuff.
So far it is on Bebo and Facebook.
Bebo profiles can be accessed by anyone, to the best of my knowledge, but Facebook profile viewing is for Facebookers only.
So!
I figure, why don't the OMG users band together to help out everyone?
Plus, we'll add to the whole social networking thing! xd

How To:
You need to have a Facebook/Bebo account with the OMG Widget. It has to be set to public profile. (In some cases, you may need to add them to your friendslist)
Find the person's OMG Widget on their profile, and click "Get Started".
- If you are on Towns somewhere else, you will have to exit there before it will let you onto the OMG.
Note that if you visit the widget on someone else's page, you will be logged in as yourself, but any items you help to gain on the gift meter will go to that person's Gaia inventory, not yours. Because of this, numerous people can be filling up the same person's meter at once.
If a person's gift box on the meter is gray, it means that they haven't waited long enough and you can't help them yet. sad
There are two 'rooms': the main room and the parking lot.
In order to start filling your Gift bar, you have to bump things.
You can also sign the guestbook to help fill up the meter, (and say who you are!) but I suggest bumping things as the main way.
In the main room, you can click the speaker towers and pale spheres on the floor until they completely roll away. You can also click repeatedly on the two big speakers on either side of the top part of the room.
In the parking lot, you click the shopping carts until they completely roll away, and then go around and click repeatedly on the two dumpsters on the left side and all of the lights around the sides of the room.

The Gifts
The only person to see an announcement about receiving a gift will be the person who finally fills up the meter. Be sure to post here to let them know it's in their inventory! razz
Remember, you can only get one gift approx. every two weeks, so be sure to help other people get theirs too!

Edit: Oh, yeah--I'm getting into designing skins for Bebo Profiles. Anybody else making custom stuff for Bebo or Facebook?

Edit: Oh, yeah--I'm getting into designing skins for Bebo Profiles. Anybody else making custom stuff for Bebo or Facebook?
Bebo gets profile skins? Lucky.. Facebook is the least customizable of anything... I just re-did my Gaia profile, but Facebook is just a bunch of boxes you can drag around.. confused

I'm technically on both, but I never use Bebo. The people I was on there for stopped using it, so I had no reason to use it after that. My Facebook profile.

I can tell you like red. lol *OMG refuses to load on library computer* scream Ok...I'll come back tonight on my own computer....Hmm well actually I think purple or blue is my favorite colour, but I couldn't resist those cherries... or be bothered to go through more skins when I was out of quota rofl rofl I can't remember, what do you actually have to DO to earn points for yourself/ other people? Ah well. One day I shall have a facebook, one day... oh, and a myspace. Everyone seems to have a myspace these days. Putting the omg widget there would attract a LOT of attention... I visited your profile too smile and left comments.
