I personally think that Favre will return with the Packers.

...The Packers are the youngest team in the NFL. They can only get better. If Favre stays in shape and in the right mindset, I'd think he'd return.

...As for dropping out of the Pro Bowl, I don't really know. He's been the first or second best QB in the NFC this year overall, and it's pretty ironic. I guess it's because he's still disappointed in their home playoff when they were so close to the Super Bowl. Anyways, Garcia was injured a great deal of the season and isn't such a great replacement. The fans should have been able to like re-vote for a day or something.

he could have also dropped out because he wanted some time with his family. as a football player your family is a back seat to the player so that could be it to.

Well in his press conference after the NFC Championship game loss, he said that he would decide his future, much sooner than usual, and won't keep people waiting. The Pro Bowl is in over 2 weeks from today, so he's probably just disappointed over the loss.

i dont know farve allways seemed like one of the guys who'd play until they physically couldn't play eney more. he probaly wanted 2 rest up more if hes gona play again.

another thing i dont think some 1 age should detirmin if they should retire
i think some 1 own desire and ability should

I agree with you on the retirement relating to ability.

...But he has a whole few months to prepare for next season. Resting isn't in his mind. It might be a decision on retirement, but probably not. But I think it's just because he's still pissed about not being the Super Bowl.

good point but i think he'll be back. Just like last year he said he was gone. I think he'll stop playing when he gets another ring
