Relena let out a long sigh as the sun began to creep through the window successfully waking her. She rose into a seated position, popping her neck and stretching her arms as she did.
"Best head out now before the brothers get up."
She looked over her shoulder at the headboard with both her and her sister bed connected. Her sister was no where to be seen except by a bare foot sticking out the end of a mess of comforters.
"You might as well get up. The deer should be migrating in the Spire by now and if you want meat for the winter we have to catch it!"

Relena got out of bed and head for the bathroom.
"The brothers will be up soon"
Relena knew that their brothers would prove to be pains in the butts if they did not leave before they woke. They always were.

Relena came back out fully clothed from the bathroom.
"Let's get our things pack and head out."
She exited the room to give her sister privacy as she gaved her pack. She loved going to the spire and bring home the meat. She could care less about the hunt itself but the peace and quiet it gave. She entered the kitchen and began to laid out food for the trip.

Relena looked at her sister curiously.
"You do huh?"
She packed various tools and extra set of clothing. She tossed her bag over her shoulder and head for the door.
"I will get the horses ready."
She stepped outside and went straight to the barn. There she was greeted by Pegasus and she set down here bag as she began to her and her sister horse saddle up.

Relena mounted Pegasus and strapped down her pack to the saddle.
"Ready to go?"
Relena rode out of the barn and took to the old worn down path behind the house that led to the Spire Mountains.

Relena was awaken by a familiar voice and bolted up into seating position, “Brom!”
Brom tossed another piece of wood on the fire and walked up to her. “You two went for quite a tumble. You in my home, Wanda is still out cold.” Brom rose and head over to what looked like two rocks, one of which grabbed Relena attention.
“What are those?”
Brom shook his head, he knew what they were, dragon eggs, “Nothing.”
“Nothing my buttocks!”
Both turned to Wanda standing in the doorway, “Those things are the reason why my back is bent out of shape! I land on those things…that hurt too!”
Relena bursted out laughing as Wanda rushed passed Brom with a hammer, “Death to the evil rocks…pay back is a bi---ack!” Brom grabbed the hammer and pushed her way, “Enough, you are not to harm them…”
Both Relena and Wanda looked at him oddly, “Harm them,” they said in unison. As soon as they finished speaking the rocks began to twitch and crack. Soon two small balls of scale cooed at each then Relena and Wanda before jumping at them.
Relena and Wanda were suddenly back pedaling, “AH!”


A few weeks later….
Relena walked slowly and sloppy towards the house, she was exhausted, “Mean old butcher…” A rush of warm blew across her backside making her scream. A roaring laugh followed by two other laughs had her spinning around, “Ra, Silfer,…WANDA!!”
The laughing halted and innocent smiles followed. “Sorry but Brom wants us to train together. Today is our first flying lesson for the dragon and a new spell for us,” announced Wanda.
Silfer nudged Relena lovingly, “Alright but you are doing my chores tomorrow…you owe me and I am behind!”
“Ya, Ya, Ya…”


Two months later….
“PULL UP!” screamed Brom at Wanda and Ra.
Relena and Slifer looked at each other as Ra skidded to a halt when she pulled up at the last minute. Wanda hair was a matted mess and she was unmoving, “you’re up sis…”
Slifer and Relena looked at Brom, pleading for him to say know but…, “Alright…get up in the air, start slowly.”
It took Brom an hour push them over the ledge with Wanda and Ra laughing the butts off the hold time.


Two weeks later…

“Ah…FIRE!” screamed Wanda and Relena brothers.
Both girls head jerk up at the barn to see a bale of hay turned to ash. Two scaly heads peered at them from backend of the barn, smoke coming from their mouths.
Within an hour it was time for some explaining from Brom. “What…their two week early!”

Two more weeks had pasted and Brom was teaching Wanda and Relena a new spell now their bodies were stronger against magic.

"Alright," said Brom, "Skölir is very time consuming but the results can be life saving."

Relena watched Brom slowly as he preformed the spell. "Focus on your inner core and concentrate there. When you fill tightness in your chest slowly releasemthe tension out..very slowly since this is the first time." A barrier quickly formed around Brom body offering a perfect sheild.

Relena looked at Brom, "What happens if you let it out too fast...?"

"Skölir abilities come from within the body and push out from its center. It pushes against the organs, skin, bones, etc. When this spell is perform you must concentration to make sure as the barrier is enlarge from your center it..."explained Brom.

"You explode in other words from the force...," chimed Wanda.

Brom nodded, "Yes...you have to think and tell the spell to form inside you and slowly expand outward without it pushing everthing inside you out through teh pores of your skin." Brom barrier faded away as he continue, "The is made to protect you but for a beginner the spell can easily backfire expand in a solid state inside you. The concentrate keeps it in a gas form until it pasted your skin becoming solid in to the shield."

Relena frowned, "So make sure you don't have Skölir become solid when it is still inside you."

Brom nodded and motion for them concentrate, "This spell takes it energy from you and your spirit so it doesn't from elements around you. That want these types of spells so dangerous...most kill you from the inside out before the toll can even hit you. Oh and if the tension becomes painful, slow your breathing and don't release it...it means Skölir is becoming solid inside you. For beginners you need to start slow. Calm your and the tension fade away on its own."
