Welcome to Volaverun Opus a Rp im startin, the story starts in this mysterious world named Meln, this is a Fantasy Role-play, i hope you follow the rules of this game and with this i hope you enjoy and have fun with this Rp.

note: dont ask me why the Rp name is Volaverunt Opus xd

Time when cosmos has no laws. At the command of the Great one, the gods started thinking and that way creating more life. Different creatures were born from the thoughts of the gods. Some of them were minor and some were greater. Creatures, which are born from spirits and power, lived together in reasonable peace and harmony. Each of them had it's own time and place.
There was no solid borders and places. In the age of spirits, creatures lived in peace and they got everything they wanted. At those times creatures started to assemble to different gods, listening and learning from them.

Sagoin had forget the secret of creation and was jealous of Garneird, because Garneird knew the secret of creation. Sagoin provoked his own students to go to the Garneird's place and steal the secret of creation from her. The spirits succeeded stealing the secret, but they were caught right after their crime, and they felt the wrath of Garneird and had to escape from the nation of this first-born god.

Envy, cruelty, indifference and greed had been born and because they were created they also had their place in the cosmos. These powers ate their counter-powers kindness, mildness, mediation and generosity and strengthened further. This was very dangerous since "the powers of light" were not able to grow with the same speed and in the same proportion as "the powers of darkness".
Only the Great one saw this danger, since the most frightening feature was the infatuation. Nations infatuated and more they infatuated, more they accused each other. Gods infatuated to the knowledge that they had created this world and so, were blind for all its plagues. First the Great one blew open Sagoin's eyes and urged him to woke up other gods from the embrace of the "darkness".

Sagoin opened his eyes and went to Achali. Achali had entrenched with its own people into the world of Volaris and was just destroying his property. Sagoin noticed how great weapon he had in his hands and comprehended that he could put others work for him and just watch his own aims come true. Sagoin visited every god and with help of only few innocent hints he got his threats broken and with a little persuasion he got many trustworthy allies.

Reality was in hands of non-existence and ate itself with a growing speed. This first argument was already so big that it was close to eat its whole existence soon. One solution for this destructive arguing would have been to remove the whole existence, but then the non-existence would get one victory again. Besides, the Great one was already pleased for this and wanted to limit progressing of non-existence. The Great one cursed laws for everything and after that it bound spirits and the whole world to matter.

This was the age when fear stroke into all living. Every individual had to open their eyes, because the materializing was most agonizing happened for them. Every one crawled away due to the pain, agony and fear. People gathered together and they were afraid and ashamed without knowing what they were fearing and shaming. Now at last gods saw their own mistakes. Many of them had forgotten the secret of creation, because it was not necessary in the darkness. Sagoin had cheated the Volaris's knowledge for himself, but darkness had distorted the secret for a power to distort all beauty. Everything Sagoin looked at changed distorted.
All the creatures in the same place, changed to resemble each other. As did all large amounts of matter existing in the same place.

This was the age when first creatures died and creatures felt grief. Volaris, who no longer had own people pitied the dead and adopted them. Theala, who had wiped out her own people, alighted to foster all dead with Volaris.

At this time people had to survive on their own. All the gods were engrossed in acquainting the new laws the Great one had cursed. The people learned what is hunger, hunting and escaping. The most powerful ruled the weaker. On the top of evolution were dragons that had no other enemies than other dragons, but that meant only the more fatal and cruel fights.

Dragons didn't be contended with just fighting with each other, but found out how to use food as a weapon. They gathered massive armies from slave races, in other words from all other races except titans. They even had slave farms, where they refined slaves to different tasks. Dragons established first towns (And also destroyed first towns).

Titans were far too powerful for dragons, because they fight in groups and dragons were too paranoiac to ally and trust each other. So the titans had time to develop in peace. On the other hand the development of dragons was much faster, because more powerful dragons destroyed the weakest...

This RPG battles are going to be TBC (Turn Based Combat) and will play dices to determinate Damage, Experience points (Exp), and Action points (AP.), Stat points and will be explained here.

DAMAGE

This is easy to explain, the received damage and done damage will be applied by the next way:

The damage of an attack shows like this “Bandit attacks (player name) with a sword (Dmg 2-5)” to apply this to your hp will be played a dice of number 5 1 time, the next number will be applied to your hp with a dice of 4 sides played once, if the dice number was 4, 4 Hp (health points) will be reduced from your Hp pool, this will be the same when you do Damage to enemies, except by 1 thing, the damage you do to enemies will be applied with a higher dice, in this case would be “(player name) caste fire bolt successfully (dmg 2-7)” the damage is applied with a 4 side dice played two times, so if this way, you can do a deadly strike, it can be de double damage, than usually.

EXPERIENCE POINTS

The experience points let you level up, increase your stats points, and learn new skills you get experience points by defeating opponents, and will be applied by this way:

“(Player name) defeated Bandit (you are level 2)” a 20 sides dice will be played once, to decide how much Experience points you get are the number of dice.

The number of Dices played is decided by the Enemie’s level like this way:

1-10= one 20 side dice
11-25= three 20 side dice
26-45=five 20 side dice
46-55= two 100 side dice
56-60=three 100 side dice
61-70=four 100 side dice
71-80=five 100 side dice
81-90=six 100 side dice
91-100=seven 100 side dice
100-(no limit) =ten 100 side dice

The experiences points needed to level up are like this:
First level is needed 250 Ep from this, next level is 100 added to 250, and next are another 100, and etc, etc… I guess I explained my self, any way, your exp points will be added in your profiles character with your level.

STATS

The stats are added to your characters profile before you PM me it, so this are the stats

Vitality This increases your HP and resistance) Magic points (this increases your Mana)
Strength (increases your damage a little, and let you use heavy armors/swords/shields) Intelligence (this let you learn better spells and lows mana cost of spells)
Dexterity (increases your chance of evade, increases accuarcy and speed)

The Starter Stats points for starter characters are 5 points to every stat, you get stat points with actions ex:”(player name) quickly moved to evade the attack of bandit and attacked him after evade the attack” if you do an action similar to this (not a simple action) could help you increase your dexterity points, but this only happen if “god” thinks it’s a complicated move, you can also earn Stats points when you level up, you get 5 of them each level you up, you can post where you want to use this 5 stats points

Stats points change with race you choose; here is the list of changes: (extra= 2 stats points, lower=1)

Kalmatho: gets extra Strength and vitality but lowers intelligence

Metha: gets extra dexterity and vitality but lowers strength

Aichen: get extra intelligence and dexterity, but lowers vitality

Froemas: get extra strength, dexterity and intelligence, but lowers magic points

Molthar: get extra strength, vitality and dexterity, but harshly lowers magic points and lowers intelligence

ACTION POINTS (AP)

This points are used also in battles, to make moves, here you can use moves as crazy without limits, like “quickly moved to evade the attack and casted a fire ball to bandit, wile attacked with sword, and ran far of him”, to do this you’ll need AP for each move, 1 for evade the attack, 1 for cast fireball, 1 for attack with sword, and 1 to run, this might be annoying, but don’t worry, its easy to get AP’s, every 3 times you post you get 4 AP’s, to use in battles, try to use this AP’s correctly to increase your stats, if you have dudes about this, just pm me about it

BONUS PORTAL

This is an idea I’ll just try here, its just to make this better, if doesn’t work I’ll just delete this part.

“A strange portal arrived in the town, its something we’ve never seen, what we going to do”

A red portal appears in the closest town to the characters location, inside of this portal are the most strange creatures, most of them aren’t dangerous, the most damage they could make you is to make you unconscious, (like whales with wings that cast shockwaves from fins, that can fly when raining) another difference here, Is that a humanoid bunny is waiting for you in the other side of portal, he like plays, and if you win this plays, you’ll get a great surprise, like lots of gold (no gaian gold) or unique items. This portal doesn’t appear often, so try really hard to win these games…

HUMANS
Kalmatho



Kalman-barbarians are reckless and cruel people living in high mountain passes. They are especially known for their fearlessness and battle rage in battle

The kalman-barbarians are famous for their recklessness and battlerage. They often use large two handed weapons, like swords and axes. Cross-bows are also common. Common armor consists of leather, ring mails and metal helmets. A bear skull is sometimes used as a helmet (only a warrior who has killed a bear can wear its skull). Kalmatho usually don't have any particular tactics, but usually fight alone. When defending their village, they will fight to the last breath without mercy. Any intruders trying to enter their passes are often stopped with stone avalanches from high guarding posts on the top of bluffs of mountain passes.


Metha
Common weapons and techniques
Above all methal trust for great number of men. Because of great amount of soldiers, upkeeping is very expensive and it takes money especially from equipment. Base of the army are footmen, whose gear consist of swords or spears and usually chainmail as their armor. The footmen are supported by numerous archers, who are equipped with either by short bows or light crossbows and short sword or dagger for a melee. Archers rarely have an armor. Methal don't have much cavalry. That little they have is protecting their king.
Enormous army needs continually new men to replace the fallen. Young men are often forced to become soldiers. Methal even has own organization for this purpose. The organization is called as "The king's hand" and it takes care of that army always has enough new soldiers. Principle is that every family has a responsibility to send one soldier to serve the king and country. Those houses which voluntarily send a man to war get tax abatement for a year. Members of the King's hand move from house to house enlisting new soldiers. They have accurate accountancy of houses and families they have visited. Members of the King's hand are easily recognized, because they wear dark red cloak decorated with the kingdom's coat of arms and gray pants and black coat.


ELVES

Weapons and battle tactics
Ice elves prefer light crossbows or short bows and long swords and daggers. Their most common armor is chainmail, which are very fine work and light. Other weapons and armors are also used, but those are not as common. All weapons are forged from ice-steel or the metal is robbed from barbarians living in northern regions. Stolen steel is not as hard as the ice-steel, so it must be "cold hardened". The most preferred fighting style of the ice elven warrior is to fight with long sword in another hand and dagger in the other. Most of their armors and weapons are magical.
Ice elves attack usually with a many small groups from many directions with help of their archers, who aid the attack with their accurate deadly shower of arrows and bolts.

Magic

Ice elves are very skilled magic users. Almost every ice elf is uses magic at least a little. The ice elven community has many high level wizards and several low leveled.

DWARVES

Froemas


General description
Froemas or mountain dwarves live deep underground in their almost ever lasting cities. They live inside great mountains and much deeper than their cousins hill dwarves. Their cities are enormous and the population of city could easily be 15000 dwarves. There is usually only one cave leading to surface and it is very carefully secured.
Mountain dwarves are most skillful of all dwarves to craft metal and stone. They build their cities wholly from stone and don't use wood because it won't last eternally.

Magic
Also mountain dwarves are very unmagical so they have no wizards. For this reason they also have better resistance to magic than most magic using races have.
Priestly magic is quite common among mountain dwarves so there is usually several high level and many low level priests in their city.

Molthar

Military / Common weapons and techniques
Molthars haven't had any reason for armies and they also live so scattered that armies haven't formed. At the most only the small community gathered by the elders could be called an army. And as needed all members act as soldiers.
Usually molthars don't use any weapons while fighting, but trust for their own powers and rather strike with their nails than with any weapon.

Deathly embrace

Deathly embrace has got its name from that it seems much like a passionate embracing. Embracing bases on skin contact as close to heart and brains as possible.

Example of the deathly embrace

Molthar charms its victim and naturally person of opposite sex is easier to charm. After charming the molthar explains some reason why the victims feels itself weak and has shivers. Symptoms mentioned above are caused by the aura of molthar. When molthar is close to its victim it slowly slips other hand under shirt of infatuated and weak victim and presses the cold hand against victims back right on place of heart. Then the molthar moves its other hand on the victims occiput so that there is as little hairs between hand and occiput as possible. The more molthar and victim have skin contact, the stronger molthar feels life force given by the embrace. Merely this is enough for absorbing the life force of the victim and nourishing molthar, but to maximize the enjoyment, molthar sinks its canines to the victims neck and starts draining blood.

Magic
Magic of molthars is very old. Renewals and new spells come up slowly. Old spells to same extend last for a very long times. Molthars have specialized for necromancy and charms. Charming spells are inborn ability to them. Because molthars practically live forever they have enough time to learn new. Even though learning is slow, it happens and for this reason all just a little older molthars are able to cast spells.
