LUNAS_jb Area 2 is west of area one. A little bit of history about the area. Here is were the First Summoner Tower was truly formed though summoners had been around for a while this is where they began to ban together in groups. The Summoner Tower: The Tower here is located not too far from the shoreline of this area. The Tower is a large black tower that can be seen even out on the sea. There is the usual small town around the tower and around that is a slight wall. This Tower is the Tower of Rising Flames. The Summon gained here is The Fire Bird (Pheonix) known as Fal Mora. The Town: The town is protected by the older more experinced summoners of the guild. The wall gives little protection there is a gate on the north, south, east, and west sides. Inside the town is of course the summoner school where the children of the Tower get to learn to be summoners. Other then the summoner school there is not much different then a normal town. There is a Tavern a market place the black smith lane the item stores and several other town stores such as supply shops traveler inns and such. Almost forgeting this is one of the few Summoner Tower Towns that contain an acctual Library. Here summoners can learn other basic spells need for survival in the world. As well the library contains information on areas in the world creatures and mythical things all throughtout the world thought to be non-exsisting. The Forest: The Tower is located in an open field just after the shore line not to much farther west is a forest witch streches from there following the entire western edge of the area and curving to cover the most of the northern edge and southern edge. There is not much important about these woods at least not in this area. The Shore: Well there isnt much to describe this other then it streches for most of the area before becoming cliffs. Character's History/Bio: Gregory came from your average elvish family, except they were severely over protective. Some speculate that his travelling and lack of armour as just a way to spite his parents. He is kind and polite, but ruthless on the battle field. He shows no mercy, after all, how likely is it that the enemy will? More to come as I come up with it. I'm making this up as I go along. Margem A brunette, with red/gold highlights in her hair, steps out of a forest. She notices a town nearby, one that seems to be simple and decent. Nodding, she makes sure she has everything she needs before heading towards the town. Sarah Everwood, her name, makes a mental list to herself as she approaches the town: parsley, oregano, daffodil, salt, pepper, aloe, mint, and so many other items add to her list the closer she gets to the town. DreamJoker A long eared elf with white hair and purpleish skin walked into the village and looked around. He had a scythe on his back and wore a robe fashioned with leaves of darkelf leaves. Looking around, he found the bar and sat inside, his hood up to hide his face. Margem 'The sun's setting,' Sarah notices, 'The market's not going to be open for much longer.' She picks up her pace before stepping up to the marketplace. The lady stops a booth-owner, who is about to close his booth, asking as she mentally reads her list of items, "Excuse me but do you have...." DreamJoker He soon left the bar as it began to close and looked around. "Ah...sacred light of the moon..." his eyes glowed as his form changed to that of a panther. He lept into the shadows of the trees and slowly slept on the brnach. Margem After buying her things, Sarah goes into the main town area, looking for a place to sleep. "Sorry, we're full," one hotel says. "Booked up, I'm afraid," a motel says. "No more rooms, deary," another hotel says. She looks around for a few minutes before her eyelids become droopy. There are no rooms or beds to rent out for the night. Where to sleep? The forest? The rooftops? She shakes her head before finding a side alley. She kneels down in the alley then takes a seat. The brunette rests her head against the wall and, firmly holding her bag in her lap as her hand rests on her sword's hilt, falls asleep. The moon shines brightly above her but she pays no heed as she rests. DreamJoker He woke up in the middle of the night and looked around. He hopped off the tree and took and looked around the city just to occupy his time or until he became sleepy again. He soon came upon an ally and saw a person lying on the ground asleep. "Poor girl...must be cold..." he sighed as he reached into his backpack and draped a blanket over her. He then smiled as he left and went on into the woods. Margem Everwood stirs in her sleep while it is still dark out. She finds a blanket laid over her. She would normally try to find out where it came from, but she is so tired that she closes her eyes. Though she knows the person who gave the blanket to her is gone, she says, "Thank you for the blanket." She then pulls it closer to her and falls back to sleep. Kairi_Suraki Raiko Tsukeima stood in front of the kind of imposing tower. She looked up as far as she could and still couldn't see the top, but then again it was misty. She stood for a moment with her tail swinging nervously and her ears twitching before grabbing the handle. Another pause, then she opened it and entered the tower. Margem The brunette wakes up right before dawn. She stretches and checks that she has everything. She folds up the blanket that had been given to her and tucks in in her bag before she stands up. "A new day and I have all of my herbs. I'm ready for it," she says with a smile before entering the town's main business block. Dunkballz Sebastian stepped on to the soft warm sand and pushed the boat out to see again, hopiing the he wouldn't have to use it anymore. He had finally reached his detination, and just wanted to find a place to stay. He also needed a temporary job to earn money for food. He starts walking towards the city. As he reached the town wall, a gate opens up and two guards came out. "Name and business here?" The one said. Sebastian replied plainly. "Sebastian Hawke, I'm just visiting." The guards moved away and let Sebastian pass. As the doors closed behind him, Sebastian started walking around in the town looking for work. Margem The brunette looks around the block, the sun rising up over the horizon. She wonders where people are before she remembers the time. She finds a bench in the middle of the block and takes a seat. While she debates on what will happen this day, she pulls out some food from her bag and settles in for breakfast. Dunkballz The streets were rather empty, but Sebastian had been asking a few people about directions and did now know where the business block were, the best place to get a job. As he reached the block he saw that the streets were absolutely empty, and the buildings were all closed up. He looked at the sun and saw that it had just barely started to rise. He decided to sit down andw ait for the people to wak up. He sat down on a bench, and looked around in the new city. DreamJoker Stepping into the light of the sun from the shadows of the woods, The dark elf enters once more into the town. He wanders around with a stern look upon his face as he eyes each store for any potential items he may use during his adventure. "Hm...elven magic and weaponry is superior to these people...I doubt I shall find anything here worth my while..." He sighed as he walked to an openfield right outside the town and layed down upon the grass and looked up into the sky. Margem Sarah finishes her meal before standing up. Where was she off to next? She doesn't know so she shrugs and starts walking. Wherever her feet take her, she'll go. Mr.Ownage Gregory Moonleaf, a six foot tall elf with shoulder length blue hair and dark blue almost black eyes, walks towards the east gate of the city. as he aproaches the gate two guards rush out, Gregory immediatly recognises them as Summoners. "State your name and business." One of the Summoners says, his tone suggesting that he would not be accepting any jokes. "Gregory Moonleaf," the elf replies, "I simple wish to find a place to spend the night and to buy some food." "Very well," the second Summoner says, "You may enter" "Thank you," Gregory says, nodding and walking calmly past them into the village. As he walks he notices a brown haired woman walking towards the gate he had just entered. When he is standing near her he greets her and waits ploitly for her responce. Kairi_Suraki Raiko exited the tower a short time later with a smile. "Mission complete." She whispered and began towards the village tiredly. The guards let her pass immediatly when she got there. She nodded to them with a triumphant smile. Margem The brunette Sarah Everwood sees a blue haired elf approach her and she tenses slightly. "Good morning to you, my lord," she says with a small bow, "How fares my lord this morning?" Mr.Ownage "Quite well," Gregory replies, not used to being as heavily respected as he currently was, "And yourself?" Margem "I am well, my lord," she says as she folds her hands in front of her, relaxing a bit, "What brings my lord elf to this city?" She is quite comfortable in speaking this way because she was raised up to be formal and respective, especially in men's company and in the company of those who are her seniors. This elf, though he may be uncomfortable with the idea of her formalities, deserves her respect by the way her raising has taught her. Mr.Ownage "'Tis merely the life of a traveller," Gregory replies, "If you see a town, spend the night and refresh your supplies." Margem "Very good," Sarah says to the elf. Mr.Ownage "And what brings you here?" Gregory asks, a questioning look in his nearly black eyes. Margem The brunette shrugs before saying, "I have similar reasons for being here, my lord. I am here because it is a place where I can refresh my herb supplies and my medicines. It is also a place that I can rest at, I suppose, though there weren't any places to stay last night." She adjusts her backpack asking, "Does my formality towards you make you uncomfortable, my lord?" Mr.Ownage "Actually," Gregory replies, "I have begun to grow accustomed to it. I do not say much usually anyways so do not take it as me being uncomfortable of offended." Margem Sarah nods, "I ask, my lord, because I have been raised to show respect to my elders and to those of the male gender." Lowering her eyes, she says, "It is obvious that you are an elf, so you deserve respect. That's why I address you as my lord, my lord." Mr.Ownage "You have been raised well," Gregory replies, "However, there are some men who would probably want a little more than respect from a young woman such as yourself. I am not one of those men." Margem The brunette stays quiet, her face still downwards. She knows he is right. She's had a few situations where she was able to get away at the last minute, but they had been difficult situations, nonetheless. Mr.Ownage "Do not dispair," Gregory says comfortingly, "I did not mean to scare you. It was merely a word of warning. One that may serve you well with your lack of weapons."

Margem "Understandable, my lord," she says quietly before shaking her head, "I don't like to carry weapons, though. They just don't suit me." The brunette lifts her head, "But I can make one wicked gas bomb if need be." Mr.Ownage "I take it you do not mean a natural one." Gregory laughs. Margem "Natural as in herbs, yes. The other way you mean, no, definitely not," she says with a smile. Mr.Ownage Gregory smiles back. He thought that a sense of humor was important in a friend, or even for a good first impression. "I notice you said it was hard to find a place to sleep last night," he says, "Perhaps I can help remind them that there are empty rooms. I will not have to hurt anybody of course." Margem "No, that's alright, my lord," she says with a shake of her head, "I'm off anyways. I'm always on the road, though I never know where I am going." Mr.Ownage Gregory laughs, "I am very much the same, but I always stay for a few days. If nothing else I learn where everything is if I ever return." Margem Sarah shrugs before saying, "It doesn't matter to me. As long as I can get my supplies, a town may grab my attention for about a day, maximum." Kairi_Suraki Raiko found herself unable to rest and so wandered about the town. She whistled to herself as she walked, an old habit. A tune came to mind and she whistled it. Mr.Ownage "You humans always are quite impatient," Gregory remarks, "But I suppose life does pass you by a lot more quickly than it does elves." Margem The brunette purses her lips before saying, "My lord, I do not stay in a place unless I have a reason to. My reason for coming here was...." She pauses before shaking her head and bowing apologetically, "I'm sorry, my lord. I do not mean to be rash." Mr.Ownage "I do not mind," Gregory replies, "You show me far more respect than most. You were raised well." It was the lack of respect most beings he encountered showed him that had caused him to be so surprised by her formality. Margem "I am surprised, my lord, that you have not encountered others that are as respectful," she says frankly before turning to a bench nearby, "My lord, we have been standing this whole time. Would you like to sit down?" Mr.Ownage "Yes," Gregory replies tiredly, "Thank you. As for your surprise about the lack of respectful beings, you should not be. They merely envy elves longevity." Margem Sarah sits down before saying, "I'm actually starting to wonder if I should go visit a friend of mine. She's an elf too. That's what reminded me of her. I haven't seen her in years." Mr.Ownage "Perhaps I should come with you," Gregory replies thoughtfully, "It's been a while since I've been around other elves." Margem Everwood nods, standing up again, "My lord, if you wish, we could leave now." She bows and says, "Only if that's alright with you, though, my lord." Mr.Ownage "Well," the elf says, drawing out the word well for a little while for effect, "I need more food but after that we can go. I guess it's a good thing you've been to the market already." Margem She smiles, "Well, I can show you to the market, my lord. That way you can get your supplies and then we can go see my friend. Does that sound good, my lord?" Mr.Ownage "Indeed it does." Gregory replies. "I realize this goes against what your parents taught you but if we are going to travel together just call me Gregory." Margem Sarah blushes slightly before saying, "For now, I will not address you so informally. Maybe in a while, but not for now. ...old habits are hard to break, my lord. I hope that doesn't offend you in any manner...." Mr.Ownage "It doesn't offend me that you won't," Gregory replies, "I would just be more comfortable if you did." Margem "Yes, my lord," Sarah Everwood nods before shaking her head, "I mean, yes, sir.. I mean..." She sighs, "I'll try to address you informally, my lord..." Shaking her head, she mutters, "Drat..." Mr.Ownage "Old habits die hard." Gregory replies calmly. "Just keep trying." Margem "Maybe I'll just eat those words before I say them...." she says, cutting off before saying 'my lord', "Anyways, shall we go to the market now....?"

Luciferian_Depression "Sure," Gregory says, Well lead the way Miss, what was your name again?" MargemianCougar "Sarah Everwood, Sir Gregory," she replies, blushing because she accidentally said 'sir' again. She shakes her head and turns towards the market, "Here. The market is this way." Luciferian_Depression Gregory laughs, "Don't worry about it. You'll get the hang of it eventually." MargemianCougar She shrugs, her backpack on her back, as she heads towards the market, the elf beside/behind her. Luciferian_Depression Gregory walks slightly behind and to the side of Sarah. He suddenly realizes that he must look like her bodyguard. It works I guess.MargemianCougar Everwood takes him to the market and, slinging her thumbs into the backpack, turns to him. "Here you are..." she says, dropping the 'sir' and 'my lord', "Do you need any help finding things....?" Luciferian_Depression "Is there anything you would like to eat on our journey to your friend's?" Gregory asks. "I'm fine with just about anything." MargemianCougar "I have all I need," she says, tilting her head, "I was ready to leave when I met you... I just wait for you..." Luciferian_Depression "Alright." Gregory says. "I take it you did not buy enough food for two people. Fair enough. You had no way of knowing you'd meet me or that I'd accompany you." He walks towards a stand selling fresh fruit and buys two pineapples as he says this. MargemianCougar "I didn't have any warnings but if I had, I would have bought enough for two," she says, starting to pick up a sharp tone of voice and dropping her politeness as she is a bit offended, "I just never knew I'd meet you and that we'd travel together." In fact, Sarah is offended because she feels the elf is saying that she wouldn't have bought food for two even if she knew they were going to meet. Luciferian_Depression "If you took that to mean I was saying you would not have bought enough food for both of us either way I'm sorry." Gregory replies. "That was not what I meant at all." MargemianCougar "Fine," she says, her polite side gone currently as she tries to calm down, "Need anything else?" Luciferian_Depression Gregory senses that Sarah probably wants some time alone so he buys the rest of his supplies in silence. MargemianCougar Sarah Everwood waits to the side of the market as the elf buys his items. She sighs inwardly knowing that her side of impatience/stubbornness is showing. She closes her eyes, leaning on a wall nearby, as she waits. Luciferian_Depression Gregory returns to where Sarah is standing after he finishes buying everything he will need. "If there is anything I can do to show how sorry I am for offending you just let me know." he says quietly after arriving near her. MargemianCougar The brunette shrugs, motioning to forget about the whole thing, before saying, "Are you ready to go?" Luciferian_Depression Gregory nods to show that he will forget it before telling her that he is ready to go. "Again I trust someone else to show me the way." Gregory laughs. "A nice change of pace. Lead on." MargemianCougar Sarah rolls her eyes before heading towards the city gate, "Who else has lead the way for you? Who showed you a way to go and how come?"

Luciferian_Depression "You." Gregory laughs. "When you showed me the way to the market." MargemianCougar Sarah rolls her eyes, "I meant before me. Was there anyone before me that led you anywhere?" Luciferian_Depression "Not that I can think of." Gregory replies. "I tend to keep to myself most of the time." MargemianCougar She shrugs, wondering inside why that would be the case. He seemed friendly enough to her, so why would he keep to himself most of the time. They leave the gate of the city and Everwood takes a left, heading down the path around the village. A forest looms ahead, over a modern football field in length is how far it is away. "We continue down this path before passing through that forest ahead. From there, we go through a certain area and come to the village that Annalicia is in," she says, pointing down the path as they walk, "That's our course of action." Luciferian_Depression "Seems easy enough." Gregory replies. "Let me guess, it's not as easy as it appears." The elf was used to things being more difficult than they first seemed. MargemianCougar "It may or may not be easy," she mutters and, touching her bag that is on her back, says, "That's why I already had some potions made up for a trip. I was hoping to see Annalicia soon so, just in case, I had them ready for the trek over to see her." Luciferian_Depression "Are you saying you've never been to see her before?" Gregory asks, "Or just that it varies?" He hopes that her answer is the second option. He would much rather have his guide know where she is going but not if they have any difficulties than to be uncertain of the exact path. MargemianCougar "I've been there before, but that was a few years ago. The last time I attempted getting there, the trees awoke and attacked me, making the path untravelable, if that's even a word. The forest can wake up at any minute and attack of its own will but there are beings in the forrest that can attack as well...." she says before lifting her eyes to the elf, "That's why the path to her house is so difficult and not often travelled." Luciferian_Depression "I suppose it's a good thing we both have a sword then." Gregory replies. "Although I get the feeling we'll both wish we had armour by the time this is over." MargemianCougar "A sword?" Sarah Everwood asks before halting, "Sir... I mean, Gregory, I may carry a sword, but I am not an expert at it. I mean, I've never had any training and haven't really used it... I mean, I've only used it..twice....." Luciferian_Depression "I only use mine when I have to." Gregory replies. "I'm no expert either. I have enough skill to keep me alive but that's it. If you feel it's neccessary I could help you practice. If I do you have to promise that I'll come out of it intact." MargemianCougar The brunette sighs, "Maybe you could teach me but I don't know what to learn.... I mean, do we have time for you to teach me how to use my sword?" Luciferian_Depression "That depends on when you need to be at your friend's house." Gregory laughs. "If you need to be there soon, probably not. If you have some time to spare, I don't see why not."

MargemianCougar "I don't need to be there at any time," she says in a matter-of-fact tone, "In fact, she doesn't even know I'm coming. I'm going because I want to see her and because we haven't seen each other in a long time. It's to be a surprise that I'm even coming to visit her." Luciferian_Depression "So we have all the time in the world." Gregory replies. "That should make your training a little easier." MargemianCougar She slightly winces as she says, "A little? I just hope I don't hurt you or anyone else as I learn how to use the sword...." Luciferian_Depression "The part that will be the most dangerous for me will probably be evaluating what I need to teach you." Gregory replies, resting his hand on the hilt of his sword. "Shall we begin?" MargemianCougar She slowly nods before saying, "I guess so...." Luciferian_Depression Gregory draws his sword. "Well then," the elf says, "Show me what you can do." MargemianCougar Feeling, and probably looking, very nervous, Sarah Everwood draws her sword. "I.... I haven't...." she manages to say before clearing her throat, "I haven't really used my sword.... ever." Luciferian_Depression "Well," Gregory replies, "I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Just swing at me. I should be able to block it." MargemianCougar She sighs, "But, my lord, I don't wish to hurt you, even accidentally." Luciferian_Depression "I am a swordsman yet I travel without armour." Gregory says, wondering why he hoped that these words would comfort her. "If you do hit me I should be able to handle it." MargemianCougar She sighs before nodding and swinging with her sword, hoping she doesn't strike the elf. Luciferian_Depression Gregory easily blocks her swing. "Don't be so reluctant. Swing at me like you would an enemy." MargemianCougar Sarah sighs and closes her eyes. She pictures an enemy coming at her and she lifts her sword up. Opening her eyes, she imagines that the enemy is where the elf is standing. 'I am attacking the enemy, and not Gregory,' she tells herself, 'This is what I must think while practicing.' She then swings again, thinking only of the enemy that has 'taken' the elf's place. Luciferian_Depression Gregory blocks her swing again, not as easily this time. "You seem to have a gift. Or an extreme hatred for your enemies. If it is the second one focus that hatred. Don't let it consume you, but at the same time don't ignore it." MargemianCougar Sarah pauses and says lowly, hanging her head, "Sorry...."

Luciferian_Depression "It's fine." Gregory says soothingly. "That was a good swing. I'm just giving you a tip on how to make it even better. You didn't do anything wrong." MargemianCougar "I don't know if I'm cut out for fighting, at least with swords," she replies quietly, "Maybe I should just stick to gas bombs, via herbs." Luciferian_Depression "You'll be fine." Gregory replies. "If, when it really counts, you show half the skill you did when you were training with me, you have nothing to worry about." MargemianCougar "Do I have to train some more....?" she asks, her eyes wandering down the path towards the forest. Luciferian_Depression "If you want." Gregory replies. "I get the feeling you don't go from one swing to the next smoothly. If you wanted we could work on that." MargemianCougar Sarah closes her eyes and breathes deeply. 'I can do this, I know I can..' She opens her eyes, "Let's try it again. I'll get this sword weilding thing down this time." Luciferian_Depression "Alright. Let's try three swings in a row." Gregory instructs. "This will test the smoothness of your transitions." MargemianCougar She nods and lets herself relax a bit. 'From one extreme to the next today, I guess....' She opens her eyes and moderately swings, as Gregory Moonleaf had instructed her, three times in a row, the elf deflecting each one. Luciferian_Depression "Not bad. Try going a little faster though." Gregory instructs. "I'd hate for you to actually want to kill me though." MargemianCougar Sarah sighs before counting in a steady rythmn, "One, two, three. One, two, three. One, two, three." Still counting mentally, she starts to swing her sword by herself, moving it to the metronome inside of her. She speeds up the beats, swinging in the air before pausing and turning to the elf nearby. "Okay then, I think I'm ready," she says then starts swinging her sword, in beat with her inner metronome, in attacks upon the elf. Luciferian_Depression Gregory blocks her swings, although not easily. "You're ready." he says simply. Such skill, especially since she's never had to wield it before.MargemianCougar Sarah Everwood sighs deeply, "Alrighty then. Shall we go see my friend then?" Luciferian_Depression "Sure." Gregory says. "However, I think it would be best if I knew a little about her, so as not to appear completely ignorant." MargemianCougar "That's quite alright, sir Moonleaf" is her quick response. She pauses before saying, "Her name is Annalicia Celendril, pronounced sell in drill. Elvish, not married, intelligent as all elves are, and extremely skilled in handicrafts like knitting. ...she is, however, not content with her family situation. Her father wants to put her in an arranged marriage with an elf from far away, so far that she wouldn't be able to see her parents without travelling for weeks to get back. She told me last time that she would do all that she can to get out of the arranged marriage, though I don't know what the limits are for her to get out of it." ((OOC: {dejavu - I just typed something like that, as Margem's response} Anywho, I wanted to change it a bit to make it seem a bit better... How do you like her last name? It was a last minute thing.))Luciferian_Depression "I'm guessing her parents aren't overly protective if they're willing to have her travel that far to visit them." Gregory says. "That should make things easier on all of us, since none of them have ever met me before." --end of p. 6--

MargemianCougar "At home, very protective. Away from home, they don't mind much, or so it seems," she says as they enter the forest. The forest is dark with only slight light to see by. "Oh goody, this is the best, sarcastically saying, part of the trip....." Luciferian_Depression "I would say stick close to me because I can see easily enough but you're the one with a better idea of where we're going." Gregory laughs. MargemianCougar Sarah rolls her eyes and continues into the forest. "Wish I had the eyes and ears of an elf. I wouldn't care for the long life, though. One of the few like that, you know..." Luciferian_Depression "Yeah." Gregory sighs. "The long life would be bad for humans to have. All their friends and family would die and they'd still be alive and seemingly young. They'd see the passing of their own great grandchildren." MargemianCougar The two travellers are already half way through the forest by this time, luckily with no troubles as of yet. "True. That would be a...." Her words are cut short when an arrow flies out of the forest and hits Sarah in the left shoulder (the side away from the elf). It is a poisonous arrow and the girl gasps before falling to the ground. "Dang it...." More poisonous arrows come flying out of the forest, aiming at the elf. Of course, Gregory being an elf, the attackers use more arrows to try slowing him down, or even killing him. Luciferian_Depression Gregory jumps to the side, just late, and takes an arrow in the left leg. The elf curses and strains to see the attackers. "There you are." he says, gingerly pulling himself up off the ground. MargemianCougar Though poisoned, the brunette digs into her backpack and pulls out a gas-bomb. She throws it into the forest to the left of the path before searching for another one. Hopefully, she'll be able to find one. The first bomb explodes on impact in the woods and releases a gas that envelopes the attackers to that side. They stop shooting arrows as they cannot see, their vision blurring from the bomb. Luciferian_Depression Gregory limps over to the girl and offers her a hand up. "At least we're safe for now." he says, his voice sounding pained. The arrow had struck the bone in his leg and cracked it. MargemianCougar Sarah Everwood sighs, her vision slightly blurring as the elf helps her up. "For now..." ----- A blonde haired woman rushes through the forest, trying to get away from the five men that chase her. 'I leave my home just to get chased? How fortunate for me...not really.' She notices, ahead, that there is a blue-haired man and a brunette. 'That looks like.... It is!' "Sarah! Help me!" Luciferian_Depression Gregory turns toward the voice. He sees a blond woman running towards them. Elvish in appearence, the woman seems frightened, although she still carries herself with the grace genetic to elves. MargemianCougar The brunette looks up and sees her friend coming towards them. "Anna!" she says, starting towards her friend. She then winces, sharp pain streaming through her body, and she falls to her knees. She turns to the elf beside her and says, "Please, Sir Gregory, help my friend Anna."

Luciferian_Depression "I'll do the best I can with an injured leg." he says, limping quickly and with a grace only possibly for an elf in the direction of the blonde woman. MargemianCougar Annalicia Celendril, the blond elf that runs towards the brunette Sarah and the blue haired Gregory, keeps running from her chasers. However, she is reminded that she is in a dress, as Elvish as she, and she is tripped by a rut in the road. She falls down, her attackers about ten feet or so away from her, the distance diminishing as she attempts to get up (unsuccessfully). Luciferian_Depression Gregory reaches the blond elf before the attackers and offers her his left hand to help her up, his right going to the hilt of his longsword. MargemianCougar She accepts his hand gratefully, without words because of her chasers. She doesn't know what to say. However, upon seeing that his hand is on his sword, she goes behind him as she is not willing to see any fighting even to save her own life. Luciferian_Depression Gregory turns his head and sees her out of the corner of his eye. "Go over to Sarah." he say. "You'll be safer there." MargemianCougar Annalicia nods and goes to Sarah, whom she finds kneeling on the ground and in pain. "Sarah, what happened to you?" she asks, sitting by her friend. "We were ambushed and we were both hit. I don't know... It was so fast," Everwood says quietly, squinting to try clearing up her vision. Luciferian_Depression "It was lucky you had that gas bomb with you." Gregory says. "Or we'd have been in a bigger mess than we are right now.." MargemianCougar Sarah tries to answer but is interupted by Annalicia's chasers. The many beings that rush towards the elves and the human raise their swords, ready to meet the wounded elf. Luciferian_Depression Gregory draws his sword. "Come and get me!" he shouts, hoping his confidence is not ill-placed. MargemianCougar "Greg, take care of yourself!" Sarah says, taking care of Annalicia. The sword-weilding beings continue towards the elf. They seem like simple humans, but with more behind them. For those able to sense other's feelings and emotions, one would understand that beings are more of the dark side than the light. However, why would they be chasing Annalicia or willing fight the warrior elf Gregory? Luciferian_Depression Gregory is not able to sense thoughts and emotions. All he knows is that warriors with swords are charging at him. The elf gets him self into the best position for him to fight the warriors with his injured leg. MargemianCougar Annalicia's ears perk up, hearing something in the forest. Someone else is coming, from where the most recent archers had been. Someone, not so malignant, is coming closer." Sarah glances over to see what her elvish friend is talking about. However, her glance causes her a distraction away from the warriors. The lead warrior, who is only distinguished by his extremely evil expressions, whistles and the group speeds up a lot. The whole group seems to be advancing quicker, all with malintentions. ---end of p.8---

Luciferian_Depression Gregory steadies himself, being careful to keep his weight off his left leg. The elf notices the warriors' increase in pace. At least once the fighting begins I'll be too busy to worry about my leg.MargemianCougar The warriors spread out a bit more and, only about ten feet from the elf, the leader pulls something from his belt. He pulls a pin from the thing and throws it at the elf, causing a cloud of smoke around the elf. Perfect conditions for the warriors, though no one would know that except those that had gone before the elf and were long gone.... Luciferian_Depression Gregory's keen eyes pick out silhouettes of the warriors. He tenses slightly. They're smarter than I thought.MargemianCougar "Greg! Where are you?" Sarah asks, trying not to become panicked. Annalicia looks around, but can't tell what's going on. 'Too much time indoors, I'd suspect.' A whizzing sound comes again, flying towards the blue-haired elf. The archers have started shooting again, missing the warriors as they can seem them and are on the same side. Luciferian_Depression Gregory dodges the arrows and swings as one of the warriors comes near. The man lets out a howl of pain as the elf's sword passes through his arm, cutting it off cleanly. MargemianCougar Sarah and Annalicia slink off to the side, letting the elf fight. The brunette thinks of something and pulls out a scroll. She whispers into her friend's ear something, to which the elvish woman nods. The elvish woman takes the scroll, opens it up and, as the fight continues between Gregory Moonleaf and the warriors, sends a message to any fire-elementists nearby. All those who are fire-elementists then would be receiving a tiny fireball that, when manipulated correctly, would show a distress message from Sarah and Annalicia. Luciferian_Depression Swinging again Gregory slays the man. Soon he finds himself surrounded by figures in the smoke, slowly advancing towards him. The elf swings when ever one gets close enough, disemboweling some and wounding others. Suddenly he feels a rock hit the arrow in his leg. Crying out in pain Gregory drops to his knees, cursing as the arrow hits the ground.

MargemianCougar Being that no one has come to the rescue, due to the note that they sent out earlier, Annalicia sniffs as she sees the man in pain. "Sarah, don't you have a sword or something?" The brunette shakes her head, "Nope. I lost it a bit ago when I went down. Why do you ask?" "Give me some of your bombs, then. I want to help him." Sarah sighs before turning to her backpack, "Give me a bit while I find them." Luciferian_Depression Gregory starts to rise, only to be shoved down by on of the men. The man turns the elf over onto his back with his foot, then placing it on Gregory's chest with his sword at the elf's throat. "Stay where you are elf," the man says, "I enjoy an opponent of your skill and would rather not have to kill you when you have a poisoned arrow in your leg. What do you say you let us take the girl we were chasing when we ran into you, and I'll let you go." "You think you've got everything figured out don't you?" Gregory says to the man. "I've killed or severly wounded almost every one of your bandits, and I'm sure two unarmed women can handle the rest. So, if you want to capture her, you'll have to do it yourself, which you won't do if you stand here." MargemianCougar The elvish woman listened to what the elvish man was saying, quite intently, in fact. As she waited for her friend's weapons, she started to focus on him more. 'He is quite handsome, and daring,' she thinks to herself, but her friend (Sarah) touches her arm to take her out of her train of thought. "Anna, there's no bombs in my bag." Annalicia sighs deeply, getting to her feet, and pulls Sarah to her feet. The elvish woman would tell her friend what she is about to do, but she cannot expect her friend to understand. As an elf, Anna would have a chance at surviving the daring attempt, but her friend Sarah would be a goner. Anna then takes one of the most daring attempts ever as she, carefully and gracefully, runs up behind one of the warriors. She knocks him on the head, knocking him out, and takes his sword. She hadn't had much training before now, but she must help out their male companion. Now armed, the woman rushes to the elvish man's side, fighting her way through. From behind, she notices that Sarah wants to follow her but doesn't. 'Good. She'd be safer there for now.' Once she gets to the blue-haired man's side, she has endured quite a few gashes and cuts. Her hair is not in order anymore, but she doesn't care. All she wants to do for now is help her elven brother. The confiscated sword in her hands, she stands at the elf's side. "I'm sorry to cause so much trouble..." she says to him, watching the leader as the army once again gathers around him. Dunkballz Sebastian had seen a fireball shooting high up over the trees, and figured someone was in trouble. He was close, and decided to go have a look. He started running towards the area, and as he got closed he both saw and heard signs of fighting going on. After a while he spotted a face he thought he had seen before, in town. He jumped up into a tree, and tried to get an overview, but thanks to the trees and leaves, that wasn't possible. He jumped down and landed behind the woman. "Was it you that sent up the fireball?" he asked, scaring the woman. MargemianCougar Sarah jumps a bit, then looks up to the newcomer. "Are you a... Yes, we sent it," she says before becoming distracted by the fighting nearby, "Could you help?" Dunkballz "I guess I could... But... Help who?" he asked, trying to figure out who the bad guys and who the good guys were. MargemianCougar "My friends over there, the elves, are the ones that need help," she replies, pointing over to the blonde elvish woman who is standing near and guarding a blue haired elvish man. Dunkballz Sebastian nodded before walking over to the elves she had pointed at. "Got ourselves into trouble, have we?" he asked, and saw that one of them was hurt badly in the left leg. Luciferian_Depression Gregory sees Annalicia stand beside him and says, in Elven, "Fool. You're doing exactly what he wants you to do. When you're here it's easier for him to capture you without having to worry about me coming up behind him." "Quit your chatter," the man says, putting more of his weight on the foot currently on Gregory's chest, causing the elf to groan in pain. Looking at Annalicia the bandit leader adds smugly, "How nice of you to join us." When he hears the comment of the man who had just walked up to them Gregory says, "Yeah, now why don't you get this guy's boot off my chest so I'm not stuck lying on the ground?" MargemianCougar The elvish woman says, in a fake sweet tone, in Elvish, "Well, I'm sorry to care and trying to help someone who wanted to help me." She swings her sword, trying to get the leader off of Gregory's chest, as she ignores the newcomer.

Luciferian_Depression The leader flinches and lifts his foot, just enough so Gregory can move. The elf rolls out from under the man, hitting his foot with his left shoulder and knocking him further off balance. MargemianCougar As the leader of the assailants was trying to catch his balance, Annalicia swings her sword again to see if he can back off more. Sarah, on the other hand, finds herself advanced upon by the warriors. 'Oh dang... Now what to do?' the woman wonders to herself as she backs away, panicking internally. Luciferian_Depression The leader stumbles and falls as he attempts to avoid Annalicia's swing. Gregory slowly rises to his feet, wincing as pain shoots through his leg. The elf glances behind him to see how Sarah is doing and notices the bandits advancing on her. MargemianCougar In Elvish, Anna asks the other elf, "Alright there?" She keeps the other warriors at bay as she makes sure the leader stays on the ground. A warrior swings his sword at the brunette female. The blow makes it's mark, Sarah falling back with a wide wound across her stomach. The woman becomes woozy, her vision blurring from the contact, before she hits the ground. She is shocked into incompetency. Luciferian_Depression Gregory limps up behind the man who swung at Sarah and slays him before he can turn around to face the elf. "You alright?" he asks. Suddenly Annalicia's question registers in his mind and he calls back, "I've been better." Dunkballz Sebastian saw that the three were massively outnumbered, and figured he should help even the odds out. He concentrated his mind, pulled his sword, and set it on fire with his newest spell, "Eternal Flare". As he opened his eyes, the iris of his eyes were filled with a red, burning fire. He lifted his sword, closed his eyes again, and could finally see all the people surrounding them. The three allies were standing right next to him, he could also see the heat of multiple enemies, and a few dead people, who were turning cold, and blue. He ran towards the closest enemy, slashed his sword, and hit, barely, on his right arm. The cut itself wasn't dangerous, but the fire caught at once, and after a few seconds, the man was in full fire, and the rolling on the ground didn't help. MargemianCougar The woman's eyes closing, she cannot say anything at all. The shock has paralyzed her for the moment as she lies on the ground. Annalicia sees her friend go down and cries, "Sarah!!!!" She has forgotten about what the elf has said. All she can think of is her friend: Sarah. JREYN There is a large crack as a nearby tree splits open to reveal a sleeping girl. As the tree opens she is lowered to the ground by helpful vines. After a few moments she slowly awakes..."Where am I?" Luciferian_Depression Gregory continued fighting, know only that he could not let harm come to either of the women behind him. His leg did not hurt him, the adrenaline rushing through his veins insured that. Margem Annalicia runs to her friend's side, her sword still in her hand. She checks on her friend as she blocks the attacks against her. She turns to the male elf nearby, "She's hurt badly. I don't know what I can..." She blocks another attack and snaps back with a swing of her own sword at the previous attacker, "What I can do for her in this mess." Luciferian_Depression "I guess we'll just have to clear them out then," Gregory said, cleaving the head of one man clean in two as he did, "But that might take awhile. Biggest band of bandits I've ever seen." The elf parried a thrust directed at his ribs and responded to his attacker in kind.

The blond stands up from her friend's side and stands squarely - her shoulders and feet line up. She holds in front of her the sword of one of the deceased bandits. She closes her eyes very slightly, sensing all the beings around her.
Opening her eyes, she flies towards the nearest bandit, slicing him in half. Right after that stroke, she makes a graceful turn and cuts down another bandit. After about six strokes, she turns to the other elf.

"For Vegos Verdos!" Gregory shouted in kind, slashing down more bandits. He was unsure of why he had chose the name of his home as his battle cry, but it seemed right to him.
(Yay for our Spanish-influenced Elvish! Vegos Verdos = Vegas Verdes, Green Valleys.)

After about ten more minutes of slashing and brawling, only three beings remain standing and facing the two elves. The beings are, of course, the main leader who has gotten back to his feet, and the two second-commanders.
``Now's your last chance to submit to us,´´ the leader says, bracing himself in an offensive stance.
Anna sighs and says, ``We've taken down all of your forces except the three of you. Why don't you just give up? If not, we won't let you win.´´
One of the seconds laughs, ``You're just a female with luck, girl. The elf that stands by you is losing energy. You're not going to be able to stand up much longer.´´
The blond elf glares at the three. The other second charges towards the female and she blocks the attack. She flips his sword away from him with a swift movement of her own sword. After this, she swings her sword again, easily cutting him in half.

(That's not what my Spanish teacher told us. Unless Vegas means meadows... Curse the fact that he told us this last year!)
"Luck has nothing to do with it," Gregory sneared. "You humans are slow, clumsy, give your own a good fight, but even a force like yours is no match for Elven superiority." He raised his sword and pointed it at the second in command still living, "Normally it'd take at least three of us, but you decided to pick a fight with one of the best." His next words were directed solely at the man at whom his sword was pointed, "Now, do you want to die defending your leader, or do I kill him and leave you to the 'lucky female'."
