She lay draped beside the river, her most favourite place to stop and take a rest. Here she could relax, rest and keep to herself - though she didn't often want to be alone. It was the sad fact that Horowai, though she tried to make friends, tended to annoy people and scare them off. Which of course, meant that she was very lonely.

She lowered her head to wash her paws, paying a great deal of attention to them, unsheathing her claws to admire that sharp, dangerous beauty. A shame really, that she'd never had much chance to use them.

Sighing, she raised her head, shook it and got to her feet, moving over to the water to drink from it's racing waters. She liked to listen to it, to look at it, but she didn't like swimming in it.

She always worried - stupidly - that she may have irritated the river by having a name that meant waterfall. Maybe the current would take it as a challenge and force her down a cliffside. It was a silly notion, she knew it, but she had come to respect the torrent and knew that swimming out into it's depths was not a wise thing to do. Besides, crocodiles lived in it, she had seen them herself, swimming up and down, desperate to find an unlucky soul to snap up.

It wouldn't be her!

Then, turning away from the water she started back for the trees.

It'd been a while since she'd first arrived; Kianga was by then not only used to the jungle scenery, but had memorised most of the locations near her clan's surroundings. The trees were spectacular... and though hunting was odd, within so much foliage, different did not precisely mean bad or worse. All in all, the pink hued lioness had found she rather liked it there. The laws, the beliefs and the lioness she'd met were exactly what she'd been seeking in a pride.

She was glad destiny had brought her to these lands, and she was most pleased they had brought her to Tejasvi; the blue queen had proved to be a most interesting lioness, and a wonderful friend to Kianga. The two usually spent most of their time together, when other means did not get in the way... and now that Kianga had fed, she found herself looking for the Queen, perhaps to share a few words with her, or simply just to share a silent evening with her. Whatever the reason, her paws had taken her to the river's side, and she did nothing to keep her form hidden from others. Raising her head she sniffed at the air till a somewhat familiar scent reached her, and a figure moved up ahead, "Tejasvi?" the word was called forward as she approached Horowai, pausing only when she got near enough to notice that no, the lioness was not the Queen, but her half sibling.

They looked similar though, and the mistake was easy to make, if both were laying in the shadows of the foliage, "Oh..." her ears dropped slightly, though she tried her best not to look too downhearted; it'd be rude for her to! After all, she didn't wish the blue female to think she wasn't glad to see her, "I'm sorry; I mistook you... for a moment," being the only pink lioness Nihang Clan, it was hard to mistake Kianga; she stood out like a sore-thumb amongst her clan mates, "How has your day been?" after all, it wasn't Horowai's fault, and tell truth, Kianga felt she still didn't know her clan mates well enough; she knew their names, and she'd been introduced, but they'd not spent time together. Yet.

She wished to rectify that.

It took her a moment to realise that the pnk lioness had been refferring to her. Odd, no one had ever mistaken her for her sister before. She giggled at that and shook her head. To think! Her a queen, not that she'd want to be a queen. No, if she was queen that meant she'd have no time to laze around and she'd have to sort out everyone's problems. Horowai had enough of her own to deal with!

She turned curiously to the pink female and smiled. She had seen her around, but had never taken the time to introduce herself. No one ever seemed to notice her either.

"That's okay, I'll take it as a compliment." She replied, turning fully to face the pink female. Her coat certainly was bright! "Erm..I'm Horowai, pleased to meet you." That sounded like a rather pleasant greeting, didn't it?

"I don't think we have met, which is hardly surprising really. No one pays any attention to a lioness that blends in with the crowd." She beamed, though deep down it saddened her.

"My day?" Horowai blinked. "Well, it's been like all the others really. Was something special supposed to happen?" She supposed she could have regarded this meeting as special.
