Just to avoid some confusion that's been cropping up lately, I'll be posting a slightly shorter version of the shop guidelines for customs and breedings here...in regards to number of slots at once and people asking about their ponies. The long version is in the Staff forum, for the colorists to read.
Customs
1 -- You may have up to, but NO MORE than 10 custom slots at one time. This does not include bribes.
*-- Guest colorists may have up to, but NO MORE than 2 custom slots at one time. This does not include bribes.
2 -- You may have up to, but NO MORE than 5 bribe slots at one time.
*-- Guest colorists may have up to, but NO MORE than 1 bribe slot at one time.
3 -- Before opening new slots, colorists must finish all the ponies filling current slots. This means if they decide to open 3 slots at a certain time, and they get claimed, those 3 ponies will be finished before new slots open. It's possible a colorist might open up to 10 slots at once if they wish to. And in that case all the ponies will be done before new slots open.
4 -- This doesn't necessarily mean that the ponies will be done in the order that slots are claimed - as that is up to the individual colorists. It just means that all ponies in one round of slots will be done before new slots open.

In Regards to People Asking About Ponies
1 -- As of NOW, (May 6, 200 cool , the growing schedule should be ponies grow every 3 months. However, colorists do have lives just like everyone and if they are having problems getting their growings for a particular month done on time, they should post a notice for this in their breeding/custom thread. If you have a pony that doesn't grow on time, PLEASE check for one of these notices before PM'ing a colorist. Even if no notice is up, allow a day or two just in case something has happened.
2 -- If you ask a colorist about a pony and they tell you they are still working, they should give you a time. For example, they might tell you it will take 1 week to finish. In this case, please, DO NOT continue to ask about it until the length of time they gave you has passed.
3 -- If a colorist does ask you not to bother them anymore and you continue to do so, the following things will happen.....
First time - Your custom/breeding will be moved to the bottom of that colorist's list.
Second time, etc - If you persist in bothering the colorist, they have the right to completely REMOVE your custom/breeding from their list for that round of slots. If this happens, your payment will be refunded and you may try for a slot the next time around.
