Rules of Combat

During player verses player combat, there will be an easy determination for success and failure when it comes to the success or failure of a hit, strike, shot, grenade, explosion, etc. making contact.

For example:
Jon's character is swinging a punch at Jane's character. Within Jon's post, he must roll a one four-sided dye. Depending on the dye's roll, it will be labeled as a success or failure.

If the roll of the one four-sided dye is one or two, the punch was a failure.

If the roll of the one four sided dye was three or four, the punch was a success.

If the roll was a success, Jane's response must include the punch making contact with her character. If Jane fails to include the strike, she will receive a warning. If she continues to ignore the dice roll, her posts will be removed. And if she still continues to ignore the rules, she will be removed from the guild.

In the event Jon's roll was a failure, Jane may have the option to allow the hit to make contact with her.

All forms of combat between PC's must include rolls, as well as certain NPC characters. These NPC characters are those listed within the F.E.A.R. and SFOD-D Stickies).
