Early morning:
-The last hints of night lingered through the air as the pleasure god searched for that familar aura. The stars beginning to fade, the dew beginning to condense, even the late night hunters had found themselves in bed, and yet the god lurked. She'd been difficult to find, and while he could have called for her the thought of seeing her face to face still turned the contents of his stomach.
But finally he'd felt, that bit of energy that each god exerted, the small subtleties that he recalled that made up hers. He didn't come too close, worrying the goddess might still be awake.. nagging.. worrying.. whatever frusterating thing she might be up to. But he neared as close as he dare to the energy, making sure to make a large display of what he'd brought, else it be missed. Settling it carefully so it's brightness contrasted the natural colorings around it. A wave of wild flowers, different colors, shapes, and orgins, dozens of them strewn as he tried to be as silent as possible. Though plucked, when the morning light came he was sure they would open to quite a sight, his only hope was that she'd hang around long enough for it.
Reguardless.. it wouldn't be a wasted effort. The collection had been soothing to himself in a way. After meeting with many of his young ones, hearing the pains and dismays that crossed them and having so little he could do about it.. he'd felt obligated to do something. Something that might make someone happy. So why was it that the grey speckled goddess had come to mind?
Turning with the same silence of his descent he took off, trying to imagine the look that might touch her features come morning.------------------------------- Afternoon:
-The words mulled over and over in his head as paws carried him subconciously in the direction he'd been pointed. Over and over her rehersed the bit of information, and he couldn't help but have a smile pull wide his maw.
He'd not expected to have met a god, ecspecially not one of such theatrics, and never in even his greatest of lies could he have made up the story and task he was now being sent upon.
Somehow that god had known about his love of tricks and deceit, how else could the event have occured so swimmingly, with so little coersion? No no, this task was so much more a game, and as he watched the god's face lighten he'd silently vowed to play out this role like no other.
It wasn't the trinkets he'd been promised, though the god had been quite generous in his offer, which he of course DID accept after all. No the thing carrying along the charade was the simple pride and ego. The god had come to him for some task he could not do, and now.. in the greatest of his charades he was going to fool another god into believeing his lies and consoling his 'pain'.
Another smile drew across his maw, one last one before he fell into the act. She had to be close by now from where the god had directed. His shoulders fell forward, his body slouching with invisible weight. Truely noone would be able to guess from looking at him now how thrilled and excited he was inside. Doning a face that ached with misery and woe, the cheetah lamented out loud, as he staggered further onward in 'misery'.- "How could things be any worse than this!? How could I have done her such wrong?"

Sleeping...it was funny, but she had never slept in the mortal realm before these past few months. And yet now she could not bear to make the trips back to the god's realm. Perhaps it was because she feared she'd be so tired that she would not return. She had been lost of late, confused, but she was unable to tear herself away from this land. Perhaps it was because if she left she'd admit that no one needed her and that her recent years had all been a fools errand. So she stumbled into sleep often, weary from worry and confusion.
She shifted slowly, her violet eyes sliding open and unseeing for a brief moment. Then she let out a breath, pushing one paw against the ground and lifting her head. Her trails of white, unbond hair lifted in sweeping chaos as she slowly drew her head upwards. Waking from her daze a gasp caught in her throat as her eyes widened slightly. Where...where had all the flowers come from? It was a marvolous sight, filled with petals of pastel hues and soft fragrencies. But she could have sworn she had...fallen asleep in a patch of dry grasses. Her maw parted slightly showing a bit of her awe. But it wasn't to last.
Her ears flicked to the left and she turned to face the direction that she heard cries from. Instinctively she stood only to hesitate thereafter. A help...was she really anything of the sort? And yet, just as she could not return to the god's realm, she could not leave this mortal be. She left the flowers and went to the cheetah's aid, though her uncertainties showed through her stoney face due to her pulled back ears.
"Sir?"

-Almost on cue the feminine voice hit him and the cheetah's eyes settled upon her. She matched the colors and description he'd been given, though the softness that the god had explained those features in did not match the stony gaze that hit him. Had he not been such a 'good' actor he might have even flinched in initial surprise.
He let his natural awe of the holy creature cover his face for a moment, taking in silently his luck at having met two in one day, but like a pro his face once again melded to a more somber reply.-
"I'm sorry. Am I being too loud?" -His voice was dramatic, almost comically so in fact, but nonetheless he seemed sincere as a heavy sigh of air escaped from his frame.-
"I just. Don't know what to do."
"Perhaps if I yell loud enough the world will punish me and strike me down for my misgivings!" -His voice rose louded and louder, body falling lower and lower, until he looked as though he might collapse on himself.
Did anyone truly get THIS in love? He'd certainly never felt it, but as long as she bought it who cared.-

Sheba's teeth parted as she gave a clear look of calm perplexity. She couldn't help but find his antics rather...strange. But, not being one to judge, at least not in the manner of personalities, she swallowed his act uncertainly. Besides, just because he was frivolous didn't mean he didn't have...feelings? Who was she to muse over how people expressed themselves. She didn't know how to do so either.
She briefly blinked her eyes, trying to visualize his threads of duty. He had none of siggnifcance that she could see without reading into more detail, which she feared would take away the attention he might need. So instead she went about it the old fashion way, murmuring slowly, "Ah...what is troubling you, Sir?"

-He hadn't been told much. Just one of those stories that always began 'I have this friend' and Danganyo was no sucker. Obviously that male god had did something to this female god. What he didn't know, so he'd have to make up a story of some sort. Luckily he was always quick enough on his toes. He'd make it up.
His ears dropped back, voice finally falling to a level more suitable for conversation. The words however were still scattered.-
"I played around with her heart. I broke it to pieces, selfish beast that I am. Cheating.. not treating her like the jewel she was."
-He moaned painfully.- "She'll NEVER forgive me."
-Eyes gazing upwards, he looked to her pleadingly.- "Unless... You're a woman too!"
"Please, please! What could I possibly do? I can't just leave things like they are"

Of all the things he had to ask her about, it had to be love. It was probably the area in which she had the least experience. She had not experienced romantic love before, at least, not knowlingly so. She didn't bother to hide her discomfort or confusion. So she did her best to treat it like any other situation.
She cleared her throat briefly and began carefully, "Well...it is not the wrong you did that matters, it is whether or not you understand your mistake and wish to make ammends. If you're truly sincere...I suppose..." she paused. She feared such a simple answer was inadiquate. But what else would someone do? Could you do anything else? "...I would go an apollogize and tell her how you feel."

-Yes probably. It seemed perfectly reasonable to him. However he somehow doubted such a simple answer would please the purple god. After all playing games like this, it was obvious he had some adversion to seeing her at the moment. So the cheetah pushed on tenderly.
Seating himself on the ground he let his head hang between his shoulders lamenting softly.- "What if she won't even give me the time of day? Won't even let me apologize?"
"There has to be some way to sooth some of the hate so that she'll even let me tell her. I can't just leave her so sad and angry and not try to do something about it."
-He was running pretty low on inspiration, and his energy beginning to drain with all the exersion. Soon enough he'd turn tail, but for now he fished for that last bit of info from the goddess.-

Sheba felt at a loss at this point. She wouldn't give him the time of day? Perhaps it was a hopeless cause then. She wasn't sure what to say, since she had tried her best in recent years to listen to everyone's problems. She hadn't been angry at anyone since...well since her recent encounter with Limboku. Before then she had gone fairly free of argument since she had cursed that couple in the desert...
She pinned her ears back at unhappy memories of her days of mistakes. She sighed, scolding herself mentally, "I apollogize. I'm not really sure. Perhaps...catch her at some point where she is extremely relaxed? Perhaps she'd be more willing to hear him out." She paused and added slowly, "He should...simply keep trying I suppose. If she won't hear him out then it is likely...she wouldn't listen to what he said anyway."

-His eyes watched over the goddess with soft interest. Had he not been paying attention he would have thought that her change in wordings had meant she caught onto him. But it was obvious that she was simply thinking aloud.
These gods were just like any other mortal it would seem. Full of emotions, confusion, and what not. Had he not seen it himself he might not have believed in the obvious flaws some of them appeared to have. That itself was a worthwhile lesson. Perhaps he could extend his games further now without worrying about some divine retribution.
Giving one more long sigh, he lifted himself, nodding gently to her assertation.- "You're right.."
"I have to try at the very least."
-Eyes turning towards the horizon he took a slow step in that direction, pausing to offer lightly.- "Thanks for your help."

A flash of relief flashed through her lavender eyes. She had been assisting people of late, to be sure, but each time she had had ther doubts. She was begin to settling into the idea that perhaps what she was doing wasn't completely wrong after all. But it still left her feelinga bit sidetracked, as if she had left a piece of herself behind somewhere. Which in fact she might have those years ago that she decided to dedicate herself to her domain.
"Glad...to be o assistance," she murmured with a collected sincerity. She was glad she could do something, especially on such an awkward subject. She only hoped the odd cheetah, despite his antics, would fair better with his lady friend.

((And Danga appreciates her well wishes, even if he is weird XD Soo cute/sweet heart ))
-Slipping away as the last hints of her words touched his ears he dissapeared, waiting until he was a distance away before he began to run. He still wasn't sure the god would be so happy, but that was alright. He'd just have to make sure that the god gave him what he promised before he told him.
Nose lifting as the peculiarly sweet scent of the pleasure god touched him, Danga's tail twitched mildly, following it until that flash of purple appeared once more. That goofy smirk adorned his maw once more. Mission acomplished.-

That had gone rather well. Perhaps she had been worried for nothing these past few months...maybe her methods weren't completely off track. But if she was doing everything she was supposed to...why...?
Why couldn't she smile?
Pushing the thought aside she headed off again, leaving the bounty of flowers behind her.
-----
The sun had begun to disappear along the horizon when Sheba decided to stop near a small pool. She settled down where the reeds parted, looking absently at the water's reflection. It was strange, she hadn't had her hair down since her childhood but now...she couldn't make herself put it up. She sighed before dipping one paw in the water and taking a small drink.

-The cheetah had been right in his thoughts, Lim had in fact been quite distressed by the lack of answer. He'd been hoping for some checklist. Tasks he could pick off one by one as if doing so would just flip a switch. But just as he'd found with his children things were not that simple.
Lingering for awhile after the helpful cheetah had made off with his bounty, some bangles and a sprig of those 'ever foreign' grapes, he pondered over what to do, finally coming upon an answer that streched his maw in discomfort.
He'd try he guessed.. If she didn't listen well then.. Well, childish thing he was, he'd probably get frusterated and yell at her once more. But he was hoping it wouldn't come to that. He had to do something right. To make someone happy.
Setting off he traveled to where she'd slumbered before, pausing by his offering of flowers only to find her scent cold. She'd already moved...
Fidgeting his feathers with a soft rustle, he attempted to track her much as any mortal might, trying to find in which way her scent carried. And when it seemed as if the night were falling and he'd have to give up, a familar sight and scent hit him once more. He paused yards and yards away from her, debating once more before finally his impulsiveness overtook his caution, and he cleared his throat quite audibly.-

Sheba's ears turned back at the sound of a voice. She lifted her head and looked over her shoulder, water droplets dripping from her long ivory stands. Her eyes widened slightly at the sight of him and her teeth parted in surprise, letting a small breath escape her. "Limboku...?" she hesitated. She hadn't expected to see him. Not after their fight some time ago. She had had reason to see him with her domain, to be sure, but...why would he visit her? Especially since she doubted he had any friendly feelings for her any longer.

"Hello Sheba" -The words spat out immediately, anything to keep him from looking stupid as he tried think of the proper way to sculpt his words. Somehow he knew better however and stopped, quite surely sculpted pretty words wouldn't be listened too. She was clever enough to see that sort of thing.
Once again impulse pushed the god, and Limbuko stepped forward another pace. Sincerity...
It was hard to keep this somber face.
And slowly his face began to change beginning to echo the foolishness that he obviously felt as he stumbled over his words.- "I was..."
-He was afraid to be too coy, too lingering with his words. If he spit them out quickly then she wouldn't be able to leave before he got them out.- "I was looking for you so that I could.. apologize."
-His eyes fell like a dejected child, muttered words adding lightly.- "I don't really like to be wrong."
