Not a great distance from the city of Barton is a small encampment. It is large enough to house the soldiers and leaders of the relatively new army which isn't saying a great deal at the moment. Still the army was making due with what they had, a great deal of supplies and loyal men.
So far they have mostly been focused on drilling the soldiers and recruiting new ones into their army. They still weren't large enough to win a battle of numbers with either army, but they were still doing quite well for themselves. Perhaps soon they would set out to make their foot hold on the land.

"My lord, I foresee I group coming to you and asking for your assistance in their duty. To accept will aid in creating peace upon this land, but is it truly the type of peace that we desire. To resist would be creating even more enemies and make our task that much more difficult." The ultimate strategist, Ziel. What he lacks in power is more than made up in pure intellect.
"Ziel...I have had a feeling that something like this would happen. I guess we will have to wait for them. It will give us time to think of the answer." The leader, Alexander.

"My lord. I believe that the group are in Barton as we speak. It will not be long until the meet with us. Have you thought of your answer yet?"
"I had hoped I would have had more time to think about it. To make an enemy out of these people or to make them an ally." He closes his eyes as he tries to come to a conclusion. Reason says to join them, but in his heart he wonders what will happen if he does.
"It is difficult to join something when you do not even know what they stand for..."
"Leave that task to me, brother. I will go to Barton and find out exactly what they believe in." A massive warrior with two weapons strapped to his back. Even his voice has a sense of strength in it. Most find it hard to believe that he is related to the virtuous leader he follows.
"Be wary. Do not let you anger get the best of you. If you find their cause to be noble in any way, invite them here and we will discuss an alliance."

"Lord Philip did not meet with them. I suppose that they were more focused on someone else."
"Brother, I am sorry, but I did see them go toward the old barracks. If you want I can go meet with them there."
"This time we will all go. It will be best if I meet their leader in person rather than force him to come to me."
"That will probably be the best thing to do. My lord if we must have a debate for the alliance leave that task to me. If he needs proof of our strength leave it to Lord Philip. More than likely he will accept simply in your presence. I have the feeling that he needs the allies."
A nod to Ziel shows that he agrees with his adviser. "I suppose we shall head out now."
