Rules
1.
You must do a Cosplay (that is, you must make an avatar that looks like a character or person that already exists. No original characters. We'll do a contest for those another time.)

You may use TekTek or make your avatar on Gaia. Whichever you prefer. This is to give everyone an equal chance at all the items. The focus is on creativity and accuracy. Here is a link to TekTek Dream Avatar creator, if you're not familiar with the site.

No Repeats. If your submission looks exactly like one already posted, you should change it a bit. That doesn't mean you can't do the same character, only that they should look distinctly different. I repeat, more than one person IS ALLOWED to do the same character, but the submissions must look different.
4.
No Resubmits. Once you put your picture up, I'm going to copy/save/post it, so make sure that you're satisfied before you submit. No changes once the picture is up. To submit an entry, simply post your TekTek Code to display your entry (along with the reference picture) in a post and we'll put it up in the List at the top of the page. If you're submitting with your avatar post the reference picture in the post and say something to the effect of "I'm entering my Gaia Avatar" and we'll post a copy of your avatar so you can change it if you want to.
5.
Include a reference picture. How can we decide how accurate your avatar is without something to look at? Be sure to include a link or post the picture!
6.
Deadlines: All submissions must be received by no later than
January 31, 2008 at 11:59pm. Once the day changes to February, we won't accept your submission. Usually everyone is in well ahead of the deadline, so this shouldn't be an issue.
7:
Prize: The prize will be a "Thank You Letter for January 2008". As I'm sure you know by now, this letter contains either the "Assassin" or the "Masterpiece" item.
