So which do you prefer?
I like Alice Bows a lot, but headdresses are a close second. I'm not a big fan of miniature hats, except for the occasional crown. Bonnets are cute, but it's a difficult look to pull off.
Plus, occasionally mice eat your bonnet and then you have to fix it with incredible embroidery skillz, and have your talents noticed by the owner of a famous boutique in Daikanyama.

Half bonnets are generally cuter, to me, than full bonnets just because they're smaller. They shield the face in a demure fashion, but don't consume your head like a giant monster of lace. I honestly prefer side-bows or small alice bows above all else. The headeater I've got is great, though [and I can't wait for the IW one to arrive so I can try it, too!] and I really enjoy wearing it.
As for the ribbon-tied headdresses, I tend not to like them. The narrower bands with very little lace are nice [VM and MM do many like that], and the round ones are often cute so long as they don't take over all of your hair, but the maxi-pad headdresses? Don't like 'em at all. They look usually really tacky, to me, even when they have nice materials and construction.
Mini crowns, eh. I like little shiny tiaras on hime-lolitas [though I prefer hair corsages for that any day] and the occasional puffy crown from Baby for punk styles, but mini hats are almost straight out, for me, unless they're fully victorian and worn with a matching frock coat or a riding habit inspired suit. In that case, I loooove a good mini beaver with veil and flowers.

I really Like the Bows.
I used to be all about the head pieces
but now not so much. Mini hats can be cute,
some times. Not always. Personally
I like Sweet Loli and bows just
look cuter with it.

Giant monster of lace, I like that mental image... heart Yeah, the puffy crowns are the ones I like. Tiaras don't really do it for me. I wonder if there's a technical name for those kind of crowns, because I strongly doubt it's "puffy."

I've seen people call them plushie crowns?
Dunno, really. Baby had one a while back matching an AatP dress that was really quite cute. Too bad the I really didn't like that print except in the pink...

No but really, I favor bows over anything else.
Headdress = won't look good on me unless I do a shitload of stuff to my hair and keep it full
Crown = Ok, but for special occasions
Flowers and stuff I have no problem with, I never tried wearing them in my hair before with Lolita. Bonnets, I'm going to try out once I get a half-bonnet from Angelic Pretty.

I love Alice bows best and I wear one almost everyday. I like the mini-hats although I don't have one...yet. I like headdresses but I hate it when people go overboard with them with lace, ribbons and danglies, that just looks tacky. I like simple yet elegant headpieces. ^^

I like thin headdresses a la Victorian Maiden or Mary Magdalene, small bows on a headband, the occassional round headdress, hair corsages, and definately full sized and miniature hats.
Alice bows and half or full bonnets just look like they're trying to eat me. D:

i love bonnets but i have to say they look stupid on me so i tend to avoid them. but i love mini hats, headress and big bows! but for casual little cute clips are the ideal ^.^

I have a funny shapped head, so I tend to wear meium to medium small bows ^_^
Occassionally I can pull of a full alice bow, but rarely ^_^
Im all for a well planned out headdress, as long as its not scary-lace-eating-your-head-overload ^_^

I usually wear headdresses or corsages and sometimes small bows. I don't really like Alice Bows and bonnets don't really go with me>_< I only wear mini-hats when I'm doing classical and top hats when I'm doing kodona.

As for me....I couldn't pull off bonnets or mini hats. They're cute, but they don't go well with my outfits (I'm usually a punk-loli). I like bows, but not the huge alice bows that eats my head. I just like looking at them.

I love mini bows on combs! I wear two on right side of my head because I think it looks cute! I also like alice bows, but they tend to engulf my head and stick up straight in an awkward way. eek
I like wearing berets and round headdresses too, even though the round headdresses look funny on me I think. The giant one are just out. Mini top hats can be cute, but just not on me and I agree with boconnotto, most bonnets tend to look like giant monsters of lace.

Bows. Bowsbowsbowsbowsbows. The more headeating the better, I say! I like nice big bows that cover 1/4 of my head at least. I also like side bows, but I only like them small.
I don't like headdresses or mini-hats. Berets on occasion, the same for tiaras and mini-crowns (never beaded, though).
I love bonnets. Not big floppy ones like the bunny bonnet, but more so like a Mary Magdalene bonnet. heart Oh, if I only had 100$.
