Rather than be stuck alone in his dark room all day laying in bed, Audric decided to make the most of his weekend. After a long week of studying, studying, and more studying, Audric needed to feel the wind beneath his hair and the sun shining in his face. Sucessfully pulling himself out of bed, after a few failed attempts, Audric skipped over to his dresser. He pulled out the first pair of jeans and the first t-shirt he saw. He then clumbsily threw them on, while at the same time tossing his pjs and leaving them wherever they landed. Finally, he gave his hair a quick rub-down with his hands and set his glasses on his face. Content with his appearance, Audric hopped out of his room and into the world.

While leaving the Ouran campus, Audric thought silently to himself about what he should actually do with the day. So far his plan had consisted of getting out of bed, which he had accomplished. Scratching his head, Audric simply followed the flow of the other people. He'd been out of the campus once before, but he'd only gone to a cafe. Besides that, the area outside of the school was foreign.

Turning onto another street, Audric was confronted with the hussle and bussle of busy shoppers. Audric was hesitant to venture down this crazed street, since he wasn't a very intense shopper, but a neon sign glowing 'The Music Box' called to him. After making it inside the store alive, Audric was relived to see it wasn't very crowded. The walls were lined with CDs, cassettes, records, and DVDs. Listening stations were set up every few racks with a variety of music to choose from. Signs labled 'Classical', 'Rock', 'Country', 'Oldies', and many more littered the ceiling. Audric let out a little 'yes!' before running off to a listening station near the section marked 'Classical'.

Satu had, once again, been dragged into the center of the city with his sisters. This time he had had enough of shopping and ran away as soon as they had finished picking out his new outfit which he was now wearing. He had a pair of green skinny jeans with a white shirt and a black waistcoat with a green trilbie hat and white and black spats. He felt jarish and out of place in this oufit. It made it even more blatently clear that he wasn't from Japan and that he was from a rich backround. People would stare at him as he walked down the street so he pulled the hat down over his face and turned his music up.

He walked around the city, finding a music store "The music box" and prompty went in walking emediatly to the "Classical" section. He walked over and started to shift through CDs, his hat still down over his face so he didn't look around him.

After sitting down at the listening station, Audric sat and studied the machine for a minute or so. The only music he'd ever heard either came from his radio, the mouth of someone in a musical, or an orchestra. So this experience was very exciting. But he couldn't help feeling a tad bit embarrassed about not knowing how the machine worked. Shaking this off, Audric grabbed the over-sized headphones from their stand and began to navigate the seemingly endless choices of music.

After a few songs by Bach and some others, Audric caught site of someone rush into the store. Glancing up, he saw this person surfing through the racks of CDs. Something about this person seemed familiar to Audric, but the look was completely throwing him off. The person appeared to be a student, but he was so wrapped up in clothing that almost none of his skin was visible save for his hands. Judging by the way he had rushed in, Audric didn't think this person would want someone to bug him. Blinking, Audric turned his attention back to the screen.

Satu flicked through the cds, his fingers moving quickly, his eyes darting from cover to cover before finally finishing, making a note that he owned every classical CD there was to own.

After his manical search he finally looked up to have a wander around the store. Of course he was going to look at the popular music too, but partiqularily the indie area. He glanced over at the listening station, to see Audric standing there, the large headphone over his ears.

Satu walked over from where he was standing and tapped the boy lightly on he shoulder. "Hello Audric." He said cheerfully. "Fancy meeting you here!"

A moment before his listening was interrupted, Audric had just gotten the hang of the volume. Or so he thought. After clicking the mute button, the volume had come rushing back on and was set to a very, very high sound. This means practically every other sound was blocked out my the plucking of strings and blowing of horns. When Satu tapped on his shoulder, Audric gave a little yelp and pulled the headphones off his ears. The sound could still be heard blaring from the headphones as they banged against the machine on their cord.

Turning around, Audric was relived to see it was someone he knew who had startled him. It would be less embarrassing this way. But what Audric couldn't believe was that he hadn't recognized this person to be Satu when he first entered the store. "Satu! Hey! How's it going?" Audric said, perking up.

((Sorry about such a late reply! ;-; ))

Satu smiled. It was nice to see Audric again. It was nice to have someone to talk music about. "I'm good. Just checking in to see if there are any new cd's to pick up. That and I'm running away from clothes shopping with my older sisters. They awalys pick the most embaressing clothes out for me. They wont just let me wear jeans and a t-shirt! What about you Audric?" he saif with a grin.

"Oh by the way sorry for making you jump!" he said, cracking a small, cheeky grin. He really hadn't meant to but that didn't change the fact that it was quite funny.

[[Don't worry about it! :'D]]

"Haha, sister trouble! I know what that's like. They think they can put you in anything just because they're bigger than you. Luckily I grew." Audric said, laughing. Images of little pink bows and floral skirts haunted his memories. "I was just wandering around aimlessly actually. I just didn't want to waste my day sleeping."

"And don't worry about that! I'm a little more alert now." Audric said, smiling. Glancing down to the seat and then back up to Satu, Audric scooted his toosh over and patted the seat next to him. "Well come on, sit! You've got to catch me up on what's been happening with you lately." It seemed like forever since Audric had seen Satu. The music club hadn't met recently and they didn't have any classes together this term.

Satu grinned. "Unfortinatly I may be taller then them but the outnumber me 7 to one so theres not much I can do really except take it. That's why I'm stuck in this. I really wish I were just wearing jeans and a t-shirt but my sisters insist that I must be up to date with fashion or otherwise girls will not want me or something like that!" he said rolling his eyes laughing.

Satu nodded happily and sat down beside Audric. The breaks from school were way too long and if Satu were honest with himself he really did miss talking with his fellow music club members. It had been too long since they had all met up last. "Hum well I've mostly been just practicing the violin more. Hopefully with all this extra practice I might actually be able to join a professional orchestra one day." he said with a wistful smile. "I've also taken up conducting, which is fun. What about you Audric?" he said happily, genuinly interested in what the boy had been up too since last time he had talked to him.

"Haha, good point. I'm usually good if I can find a hiding place. But if I can't...well, you can guess what happens next!" Audric said. He knew exactly what Satu was talking about. Except his sister trouble could also be topped off with brother trouble. Needless to say his sisters were a little kinder than his brothers, who were more into annoying pranks. During his last visit home Audric couldn't turn a corner without either getting scared to death or getting water squirted in his face. But his brothers were growing up so hopefully they would grow out of the pranks.

"Sisters can't understand that guys don't care about what they look like! It's a sad condition without a cure." Audric joked.

"An orchestra?" Audric repeated. "That's so cool!" Audric loved music, but he'd never found the right instrument. So instead he enjoyed listening to others play. "I haven't heard you play for a while, you'll have to play me a song sometime."

Audric really wasn't sure how to answer Satu's question since no one had asked him that for a while. Lately, everything had been pretty normal. He went to school, did his homework, hung out with friends, all the average things teenagers did. There was one thing though... "Well, I've been acting a little lately." Audric tried not to make a big deal out of it, since he'd just been to a couple rehearals at his family's playhouse. Music and acting have always been in his family, but it never occurred to Audric to give acting a try. Not to give himself a huge ego, but Audric actually wasn't too bad at it.

"Unfortinatly theres little to no privacy in my house therefore there are no good hiding places...unless you go into the city. Thats why I'm here now!" Satu said with a bright laugh. "That's also why my wardobe is totally bought by my sisters for me. Nothing is there that I would wear normally unless I was forced!" Satu sighed. He would dress like a complete slob if it wern't for his sisters. He knew he should be greatful to them because he never had to think about what he had to wear but alot of the stuff they bought for him made him feel uncomfortable and were strangely tight for his liking.

Satu laughed. "Amen to that. We can only hope that one day they'll learn this truth!"

Satu nodded happily. "Well its not really set up yet but it's getting there. I want to try my hand at conducting you see. It's one of the few things with music that I havn't learned how to do propperly yet. That or I want to be consertmaster!" he said brightly.

"You act?" Satu asked with interest. He hadn't heard that Audric could act. Satu couldn't get on stage unless he was playing music. Otherwise he would just throw up or get tounge tied. Acting certianly wasn't one of his strong suits, putting it mildly.

"Yeah, my sisters used to dress me in flower prints or girly things like that." Audric said, laughing nervously. He didn't tell most people that since, obviously, it was slightly embarrassing. But he really didn't mind telling Satu since he wasn't going to go around spreading anything. "Now they stick me in all the black and tight stuff. Not that I mind that!" Audric continued, thinking about his black leather jacket that his sisters recently shipped to him.

"I'm sure that after all this work you'll be on your way to being a concertmaster soon." Audric said playfully. He could actually see Satu standing perfectlly erect before an arrange of obedient performers just as he raised his steady arms. The only word Audric could think of to describe this image: sweet!

"Yeah, my parents hold a couple acting classes at their theater at night." Audric said, happy he could peak Satu's interest and match his own interesting news. "I guess it just kinda came to me after seeing every play in the world five times." Audric's parents made sure all their children saw the performances at their theater. "I really like the feeling and rush of the stage, of knowing everyone's eyes are on you." All his life Audric has loved to be the center of attention. With a somewhat dreamy smile on his face Audric continued, "I like knowing that someone is paying attention to only me, and that they can't take their eyes away."

Satu laughed. He had been in Audrics boat before. When he was little his sister would spend alot of time playing dress up with him. Of course he was the one being dressed up, as a girl. They'd do his long hair in pigtails or in ribbons and dress him in dresses. Satu got embaressed by the mear memory of it. "I remember that..." he muttered quietly. "Those were dark times." he said laughing. "Nah they stick my in very uncomfortable stuff. I just want to wear a t-shirt and jeans! Is that so much to ask?" he laughed.

Satu smiled. "Thats for the support anyway! Now all I can do is keep practicing and hope for a lucky break. I'm trying to work my way to music school. I have to work for it though. It's something I can't ask my parents to do for me..." he said, almost to himself, his eyes looking a bit distant for a second.

He snapped out of it quicky though. "That's really cool!" Satu said quickly. He had always wished he could act but he didn't have the stage presence for it, unless he was playing music of course. If it came to acting or public speaking Satu would almost be sick before doing it. Satu nodded at the familiar feelings that Audric was talking about. After all when you played solo on stage it was the same, in some ways. But when Satu was playing that feeling of attention felt great. If he wasn't playing it just make him feel like vomiting. "I'd love to see you act sometime!" Satu said grinning lopsidedly.

"For sisters, anything is too much to ask!" Audric joked, though the statement had a lot of truth to it. "We can only hope time will ease these abusive memories."

Audric perked up at Satu's next remark. "Music school? Cool! I haven't even thought that far ahead yet." This worried Audric a little. Should he be thinking of a game plan already? He always told himself he had all the time in the world, but did he really? Maybe he did back when he was a freshman, but that year was over. But for now Audric just shook his head hoping to temporarily dislodge the thought from his head.

Audric's stomach gave a little jump when Satu said he wanted to see him act. He was a performer, so it shouldn't make a difference who sits in the audience as long as he gets to act. But as of yet no one even knew Audric was in acting, let alone had seen him in a play! Not that he had actually been in a play, but that was just around the corner. Still, he didn't want someone he knew and like to see him bomb or something. Before the silence stretched on any further, Audric said nervously, "Well, I'm not actually in anything yet, but I'll tell you when that time comes." Maybe Audric had the situation backwards. Maybe having Satu in the audience would help push him to do a better performance. "Yeah! I'll call you when opening night rolls around." He finished with a wide smile.

Satu laughed. "You can say that again. All we can do is hope that time heals some of our mental scars!" he said laughing brightly at oddly fond memories.

Satu smiled. "I'm not really really thinking all that far ahead because it's always been my dream you see. But I just never really knew how opposed my parents were to it until a few weeks ago so I discovered that I would have to figure it out for myself. It's my dream so I guess I just have to work for it." he said distantly but fondly. It would all be worth while if he got into a famous music school. Maybe he'd study abroad? Satu hadn't thought that far ahead quite yet!

Satu grinned broadly. "That's great! I'd really love to see you perform. I could never do something like that. I hate being on stage unless I'm hidden behind my instrument." Satu explained. People always assumed he was a showman but unless he was performing a music piece he was truly anything but. "I can't wait!" he said excitedly, happy for his friends new found talent.

"Yeah, one day I'll look back at all this and laugh. I can only wait for that day!" Audric said, joking. Truthfully, he didn't mind his sisters and their obession with dressing him up too much. Afterall, it did allow them to become better friends. Who can't be friends after you've worn the same dress? As long as they didn't stick him in dresses anymore he would find it in his heart to forgive them.

Audric's heart sunk when Satu told him how his parents were opposed to his dreams. It was also a considerable shock because Audric's parents always supported him at everything he tried. But he did know that some parents didn't consider creative fields such as music or painting real jobs. They were also probably upset that their son wouldn't be following in their footsteps. "Oh Satu!" Audric said, his voice full of saddness, "It's terrible that your parents can't accept your dreams, but I know you'll be able to make it through." By the end of the sentence Audric's voice shifted from shaking sadness to strong hope and he was smiling. There was no way Satu would give up just because of his parents, that would just be out of character.

"Well, just don't get your hopes up or anything!" Audric said, blushing slightly pink as he eyed his feet. "I'm not very good or anything. But I'll try hard for you." Audric acted nervous, but inside he wanted to run back to his room and start running through his lines a million times.
