The charismatic hero looks out the window of the building that he had began calling their headquarters. It was not the most fitting of places, but everyone had to start somewhere. He had been confined indoors for the most part, his officers doing most of the work that they had deemed too risky for him at the moment. Attacks had occurred more recently and repairs had to be done. Not the most fitting of work, but it had gained him some favor in the eyes of the people.

The one-eyed warrior enters the building that they have been calling their headquarters. His leader seems as though he had been sitting in the same spot for the whole day doing nothing, but looking outside and thinking. There was no telling how important the thing on his mind was, but he deserved to hear about what was going on.

"My lord. While doing our repairs we met a wizard named Solice. He said something about a rebellion happening sometime soon. I don't know as to believe him or not."

"Solice...What was the impression you got from him?"

"Its hard to tell. Anyone can claim anything, but until you see proof you never know who they truly are. He could be lying and waiting for his to let down our guard."

Thoughts run through the leaders head. Like his friend he found it hard to trust somebody. "...And what of Jia?"

"He seems to like him a great deal." Straight-forward and to the point. There was no point in saying anything that was unneeded.

"Jia...He doesn't meet many people like himself. I suppose in the very least its a good experience for him. No doubt this Solice will seek a meeting with us together. I guess I'll just wait for him until he shows up. Wait and the door and tell me when he arrives.."

"Yes, my lord."

"Jia, you have returned..." A friendlier than most get tone is in his voice before quickly changing back to his rather grumpy self. "I take it these men would like an audience with our lord."

"Yes. They wish to propose an alliance I would assume. I believed it to be best that we allow our lord to hear them out."

"He has been expecting them. I suppose we must allow them in." Slowly he turns into the building to alert the man inside that he had visitors. "He will hear your terms in here."

He removes his sword and places it upon his desk. You never talked about any form of peace while appearing armed. It was simply an idea he had inherited from older cultures. It showed that no harm was intended. Still not knowing this men meant it had to be withing arms reach and that is why he chose its current location.

Dreccas stepped into the headquarters before everyone else, "C'mon" he called out to the others, a quick look around revealed he was not alone in the entrance, he immediatly bowed to those before him "We are members of the slayers alliance guild" he said, going into a very low bow, referring to himself and kaki, who had not yet entered. He remained in the bow.

"I am Kaki Pan," said Kaki bowing rather low, "I wish to speak with the man in charge."

"I am Solice Donorath, Wizard of The Elder Court," he said bowing a little, "Times are grave indeed. So we must be fast about this. Will you show us to your chamber?"

"Rise gentlemen. These are my chambers. Besides I am not weary of spies. Why would they be here in Barton considering the damage that has been done here? I have no reason to question because both Jia nad Henry would not have allowed you to come close to this building without some knowledge of who you are." He rises from his chair and walks in front of the desk looking at each of the men standing before him.

He glances at the door as both of his officers walk in. Whatever these men had to say would affect all of them so they might as well hear it. They talk positions on both sides of him. One looking quite interested in what they have to say, the other still debating on whether or not they could be trusted.

"Oh I had forgotten, I am Richard, leader of these forces. Now what is it that you wish to discuss?""

Dreccas looked to kaki, and then to richard
"perhaps it is not my place to say, but i believe we are here to seek an alliance between your organization and ours" he said, the whole idea had him interested.

"Indeed we have came to recruit more then to strike an alliance, but seeing that you already are an army, I believe we'd like to do the latter. Here is our Captain of the guild, Lord Kaki Pan."

"Thank you, Solice," said Kaki going and sitting down, "However that has not yet been decided. I'm simply the current leader. I would like to strike an accord with you and your army, however." Kaki Then waited for Richard to speak.

"Gentlemen, you must know that one never aligns himself with another without first citing what he stands for. The idea of an alliance sounds fine, but if one group doesn't share the ideas of the other then they will feel no obligation to aid them."

This needed no further discussion, but he managed to remain silent. He couldn't find any reason to possibly trust these men, but for some reason his lord continued the conversation. Perhaps they did need an alliance, but that didn't mean he had to like who they were aligning themselves with.

Calm and composed. He merely stood there listening to the conversation. If he was called upon he would speak, if not he would wait. They would more than likely be consulted in the end.

"If i may" he said, an almost deceptive tone that he was so used to when talking and negotiating like this in his voice "Our group merely wants to stop the devastating war going on between the Imirials, and the Republicans, by whatever means nessesary, and by allying yourselves with us, you will also find aid in whatever personal strifes you may be in, i can see personally to that" he said, as a bit of dark energy escaped him for dramatic effect (in the form of black smoke rising from his skin)

"Indeed," said Kaki somewhat aggravated and roughly, "I stand for justice and the well being of all living races in this world, no matter their race, faction, or gender." Kaki's tone now changed to somewhat of a yell but far quieter, "We wish to go and assassinate all warlords, this will end the war, for the Slayer's Alliance will be the greatest military force. We would of course allow those to live that would surrender, thought that is not likely."

"This seameth like evil deeds unto thee, Lord Richard," said Solice, "However, by your religion, we art commanded to rid the world of evil doers, are we not? Though this has not been practiced for many centuries, it is now time to take a stand and settle this world's affairs and conflicts. They must be slain, or many others will be in their place, but those souls will be innocent, unlike those of warlords."

He can't help, but smile as he listens to these men. Not out of arrogance or because of the fact that he sees their idea as foolish. "I know of someone who views things similar to you. Although we are no longer the greatest of friends he was still labeled as a hero in my eyes. I used to say that there was only two who still remained on this earth..." The smile widens slightly as if preparing for the next comment. "I suppose I was wrong by saying that."

"You have to remember that you must win the people's favor in your conquest. You must secure your officers loyalty. Also in your rush you must remember that if nothing else to provide stability for the people after the war has ended. Some people fit into a category where fighting is all they know, without conflict what will they have left to do? Still those details can wait until the fighting is over."

"I see no reason why we could not at least offer our help. Still I must consult these two men. They along with myself shall decide on whether we accept or reject. Remember to always take your officers opinions into account. Jia, you first, then Henry."

"Their ideas are not without flaws, but I believe them to be sincere and just. Besides with their help we can at least get rid of the Empire."

"Now you Henry."

"I still find it hard to trust these men. Still I find no reason to object to their terms. My lord whatever you believe shall work for me."

"Always voice your opinions my friends especially in decisions that will affect you as well. Still it seems as though we can all stand an alliance. Lord Kaki Pan, we accept. May we both achieve our goals."

Dreccas lay quiet at now, he had always been a man of few words, and he knew that he, himself was one of those men that knew nothing of a life without fighting, but still, for the time being he would be alloud to fight, and he would probably be victourious in most his battles.

"The Empire may very well fall, however, the Republic is far closer to it's breaking point. If you haven't heard, the President, along with his subordinates, have been killed. They already have a new one, but he is a child, that happens to be under my control. I suppose you could say I am an Idol of his. All governments in this conflict must fall, however, good or evil. Otherwise the other sides will not give up so easily."

"Indeed," said Solice, "Time is short now, we must start organizing our guild if we wish to complete our quest. We shall leave now and return to our Head Quarters. We you are ready, meet us there, the abandoned Republic Barracks that is, and we shall discuss this further in depth. Do we have an accord?"

"The other side will not give up easily regardless of which side falls first. People don't really care about good and evil, they fight for their beliefs and many are willing to die for those beliefs. That is what makes us look like fools to the other races, most of them don't see why we would die for mere ideas. They don't understand us and thus do not like to think we are on equal level to them." Calm and collected, there was no sense in showing emotion for a mere statement.

"We will meet you there later on. Remember, this is supposed to be a neutral area. Look around this place and you may find people who will support your cause."
