i found an ad in the newspaper for a Lab mix for free or Lab/German Shepard mix for $25
We are gonna call them tonight

That's awesome! ^_^ We have 9 little puppies right now. xp I can't wait to about mid-February....Then they can go to a foster home and get adopted out to nice families..

Also I use to have a German Shepered.....he was the best dog in the world.....I miss him....Y_Y

I nearly adopted one 5 years ago. My cat Sneak was missing for a long time and we thought he was dead and so I went to the pound and saw this beautiful German Shepard. He was gorgeous! We didn't because Sneak came home a few days later. I've always regretted though. He was so nice. sad

We used to have a pure breed black german shepard (black being a breed not a color). She was sweet but a bit wild. And BIG. When she stood on her hind legs she could see over our back gate which is taller then I am by a could inches. eek
Then we had our little retriever/cocker mix and now our stringy lag teenager who's still getting used tobeing lanky instead of stubby puppy. So it's hard to imagine having such a big dog anymore. O.o

I am so excited for you! I love dogs, the next puppy I get will be a chocolate lab. n.n I love labs.

Exotic_Memories the german shepherd/lab mix wasn't very cute, but this one is its a lab/boxer That is a nice looking dog ^_^ * pets it *

Unfortunately we found I'm allergic to the dog and he had to go to a new owner

I've had three dogs so far.We had to give away the other two because the first one kept 'going' on the couch,because the other two used him as a chew toy.One that we gave away was a pure German Shepherd.The owner had to put him to sleep due to an illness. crying

I wish we could have kept him, we would have if we had a bigger place, a house, where he could be kept in another room at night, or somethign to keep me from having problems

Awww....I'm sorry you had to do that. I'm allergic to dogs, but only found that out when I was 15 and I had a bunch of dogs before then. Stupid allergy tests! xp * still have nightmares from them *
