Back when I first joined, I remember that the guild basically sucked. It was I think on page 24(which means it was barely active). Then alot of people joined and started talking, and we went to about 11, and now we are on page 6(in the discussion guilds. If you went to all guilds, it is probably stuck behind those poll guilds, and "Any Topic" guilds that everybody joins on impulse)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gaia lists the guilds with a combination of how active it is, and how many users their are. I'm serious guys's it's like a downhill snowball. It'll just keep getting bigger.

Btw just to let you know, the guild improvement topic is still open. We talk about stuff from events, to new threads, to the layout in the index. Any idea you want to get out, post that.

i too noticed a decline in the activity before you came along. i think that having a number of regulars makes the guild interesting for those people who join, respond to all the posts once and then disappear. im glad that you arent one of those people and i wish some of those people would come back or become more active. ::shrug::

I like how I-27_04 posts and then AbrAbraxas posts. It almost always follows that where one of you is, the other follows soon. There are a couple of groups like that on here. It's amusing, but it keeps the thread count up.

This isn't really how it works with me. I don't know about you but this is how I do it.

1.Go to my favorite thread(which right now is the non philosophy because of the guild improvement topic)
2.Look at the top down. If you look near the right of the post information you can see the last person who posted. Also, they are listed by which ones are most recently posted in. So if it is like this

1 abrabraxas
2 abrabraxas
3 abrabraxas
4 I2704

So the top three topics,"1, 2, and 3," are the most recent, and where last posted on by abraxas. You will see my user name on 4. This means that all of the topics below that, have not been posted in, since I posted in 4, since mine is the 4th most recently posted in.

2cont. find the last I posted in, and read all of the ones above that, because that means, that I haven't read those yet.
5. work my way up, and post in each one that interests me, or I have a comment to. Even if I am not interested, I still might want to comment.
6.Move to my next favorite subthread(philosophy, which will be my favorite once all of the excitement that there is into guild events dies down)
7.I go back to 2, then when I reach 6, I skip to 8
8.Do the same thing with religeon.
9.Finally, I go through all of the posts and read through ones that I haven't read in a while, or are really old and I haven't seen, and post a comment if I have one , or if I am interested.

This way I get the most conversation, and induce the most activity. Also it doesen't take much effort to do it this way.
