Dramatic schools? I'll pass. Cliche fairytales? Booooring! Witches? Puh-LEAZ! That is sooo old school. Don't worry, this isn't a 'Once upon a time' that ends with a 'Happily ever after'. Oh no, instead it starts like this:
The rain lashed out at the people down below. Thunder and lightening arced across the midnight sky. The battle raged on as screams of agony were heard across the valley. Blood had been splattered and bodies scattered. The war had been raging on for the past two days. There were two kingdoms at war. One from different sides of the continent. The easiest way to tell them apart was the symbol on the knights armor. Ruturi had a black crescent painted onto it. The other, Souru, had a white lightening bolt painted onto it. The troops who bore the crescent were relieved to be aided by the demons. Though, not all of them actually liked demons. Most were terrified of them but happy to have an advantage over the other knights. They were hungry, cold and ragged from what had been going on. All of them were on the verge of giving up and honestly didn't care that they had to fight with demons. They just wanted to win and then go home. The knights fighting with demons, were led under the rule of a somewhat Tyrant who gave up his first son and his soul to the demon ruler for their help. The Tyrant though, did not go to battle beside his troops. Some say he is a coward. Others say it was to benefit the kingdom. Either way, none of these things were ever said to the mans face.
The king of the kingdom who wore the bolt with pride fought beside his troops. He was startled when the demons arose from the ground and began to slay his men. It was a horrible sight. To see a man you trusted oh so very much having his head chopped off. Even the sight of someone clutching their neck as the blood streamed out between their fingers. The men trying to whisper a prayer but unable to because their wind pipe had been damaged. Desperately, he turned to the heavens for help. He offered his very own life and what ever else the gods asked for as long as they'd save his kingdom and his men. A fair and beautiful goddess heard his request. Shocked that a man would offer his life, she made a deal with him. Coming down from the heavens herself, she asked him how many of his men would willingly give their life for their kingdom. He shouted out to his troops and all of them said they would. Satisfied, she went to work.
The goddess was not able to save all the men. As the rain poured down on her, she thought of a way to help the man. He wanted his kingdom saved and many of his men. Their was only one logical thing to do. She quickly went to the kingdom of told them who she was and of her plans. Those who did not like it were free to find refuge in a nearby town. Many stayed though. With that, she called on the help of the other gods who helped her remove the kingdom from the earth. They placed it high up in the sky were no one could harm them. Filling the crater which once held the kingdom with water she returned to the king. Him and his men were given two options: Stay and fight for your kingdom with a slight chance of living OR leave now and protect the kingdom with their life. One fourth of the men said they would protect the kingdom, the rest said they would fight for it. Separating the fighters from the protectors, she turned the ones who would return to the kingdom into angels. As for the fighters? She turned a decent amount of them into angels as well.
Now it doesn't just end there. The fighters fought the battle. It was something that couldn't be won. The demon side slayed almost everyone. There was a few who fled and hid among the villages. That left the protectors who flew back to the kingdom. It was renamed and looked beautiful. The people began to call it 'The Castle In The Sky'. For, it had a huge castle made of pure marble. The sun made it look absolutely beautiful. Most people lived there in harmony until a few accidents occured. Parts of the kingdom that floated would fall or break off. One angel gave his life to protect the kingdom. In doing so, a huge tree with leaves that resembled wings was created. The tree of life. Now it kept the place afloat but, didn't bring the broken off land back together. Instead people had to figure out ways to get there.

RuturiThe demon kingdom. It was once ruled by a tyrant who gave his soul to the demon leader. Not exactly smart. A lot has changed since the war. Demons now live among the frightened humans. The people in that kingdom have 'mingled and mixed' creating hybrids. Now there's all sorts of weird types of demons and half demons running around. The kingdom itself, is mostly in ruins. Well for the most part. There's still a great chunk of it that remains perfectly intact. It is worn down and very old. None of the ruble was cleared out from the war when the angels managed to get closer. Many trees are charred or fallen. The valley it resides in is barren and gives of a forlorn feeling. [x]Ruruti Castle[x] [x]Dry Desert[x] [x]Ruruti Ruins[x] [x]Malicious Mountains[x]SouruThe once great kingdom was called Souru. Then it went bai-bai and left a huge crater that was filled with water. Now it is Lake Souru with a few villages surrounding it. The villages have a mix of angels and humans. The angels being loyal to the gods&goddess', do not 'mingle and mix' with humans. Occasionally though, they will find an angel from the Castle in the sky. They call those angels fallen angels for they have fallen from the sky and can no longer return there. So now, the villages house: Humans, Angels and Fallen Angels. The surroundings are lush and full of life. Though there is what people call a 'scar' that starts on one side of the lake and cuts through ending on the other side. It is someplace that no one dare goes by. It is home to many creatures humans have never encountered before. Trees are torn and ripped from the ground. There's scorch marks everywhere. It's just not a good place to go. [x]Villages[x] [x]Souru Lake[x] [x]The Scar[x] [x]Fallen Forest[x]Castle In The SkyA beautiful kingdom. Parts of the original kingdom have broken off leaving some stranded. Though, being so high up has given them an advantage. They have the most advanced technology. No, not IPODs and the like. Instead they have robots that angels create to help them out. Humans, Angels and the occasional sprite that somehow ends up there all love it there. It has a small forest full of life. Theres streams and rivers all around. A marble castle is the heart of the kingdom where the Tree of Life resides. There's also small mountains and other things there. [x]Forest[x] [x]Mountains[x]~*~*~ Picking [U P] Were //T H E Y// Left [O F F] The man who gave his life for the castle had a family. As it turned out, every second generation, the first born daughter had to give her life to the tree. A special ritual went on in order to do it. If the girl didn't give up her life, the Castle In The Sky would fall apart. Of course every girl did it. But now it's 3042. A long time has passed since the place was first created. Now a girl who doesn't know of this tradition has been chosen. There's a slight problem though... She's fallen from the sky. Something miraculous happened though. Instead of falling to her death, she just seemed to of floated down. Now she's in an unfamiliar place with no knowledge of how to get back home. Now she's stuck with an assortment of people. Demons, Angels, Hybrids and things she's never heard of. Will things change between the two kingdoms? Friendships formed? Enemies created? Better yet... Will love be thrown in just to destroy these teens and everything they should represent?

Since some people don't seem to follow rules when they are in a list... I'm going to make you read all the paragraphs. K? Mmkay. (It's long, but work with me here)
Literacy and Posting;;--- First thing's first, you saw that this is literate role-play. If you don't know what that is, I suggest you leave, and if I sense that you don't get it... then I'll check your post history. Yes, this means you MUST have role-played before. All post's, must be at least two paragraphs at the MINIMUM... and that doesn't mean three sentence paragraphs. Paragraphs are about 7-8 detailed sentences, so get it right and just do it. I do understand writers block, but you have to have the mad skills to at least push out a FULL paragraph. As for a limit on paragraphs... I really don't mind how much you write past two paragraphs. I love reading posts and it gives me more to go off of, and I'm sure you feel the same way. If you join this role-play, and post once or twice a week, your gone. I don't care about sob stories or anything like that unless you've actually told me whats keeping you back. (This cannot go on every week). I'm really strict on the posting, and I wish for this to be active as possible. Now as for making a post... I want your posts to be pretty and awesome. This means a picture of your character, some fancy header (and a footer if you like... it's not required), Font size should be 9-10, since any others look choppy. (Your headers may be bigger... though not giant). When your character is speaking, please B O L D and C O L O R your characters speech. As for thoughts, Italicize and C O L O R.
Profiles;;--- The part you wanted huh? Alright, here's the deal.. I don't do that "highlight this post to find the secret PM title" bullshit. I hate that. Now, as for the PM reserve title... it will be "Oh my".
Romance, Violence, and that happy crap;;--- Alright, I really don't care about violence or romance (hellooo, this is about romance) but you need to know your limits. This will be PG-16, any higher and you'll be out within the blink of an eye. Don't even take cybering to PM's... since thats just disgusting. With the Romance factor, if it does come to sex, then please... just say they went under the covers, and do a time skip. There are little kiddos on this place. I don't mind gay/lesbian/bi characters, well, I love it. So that is ENCOURAGED. Fighting, is something you need to watch yourself on. No sending one another to the hospital UNLESS you have permission from the person... same goes for killing. Got it? good.
Long Term-ness;;--- This is a LONG TERM role-play. I've been in to many that just die at an alarmingly fast rate... and I hate it. I hope you understand that. If you want to quit, then PM saying so. Thats why they die so fast... and it's because people just think they can quit by not posting. You do that, and I wont let you into my role-plays anymore. B A S I C S Hello, My name is Josh Ruturi.I Have Been Around for About 18 Years.Check Me Out I obviously have something girls don't.How My Life IsHe is the great grandchild of James Ruturi. When I say great, I mean it. He was the man who gave his soul up to the demon in order to win the war. Josh however, was born from the line of demons. Since his great grandfather gave his first son's soul to the demon, that makes him a demon. Josh lives his life in leisure. Being treated as royalty, he gets whatever he wants in life. Josh has always attended the best school's available and is very intelligent as it turns out. He is an only child and likes it that way. His father is the current ruler over Ruturi and it's lands. He was mostly raised by maids seeing as her father was busy. His mother, had died for some reason he isn't a hundred percent sure of. His father said that the Angels killed her.
He has his own beliefs. Though he isn't sure about the angels he seems to think they are weak and can't do much. His best friend seems to agree with him on that. The two of them are inseparable. Everywhere one goes, the other is always found. There most recent hangout, is the Ruturi Ruins. That's the only place they can go without being flocked by girls. How I Normally ActJosh is a lady's man. Girls flock after him and he hardly pays attention to them. He thinks all of them are a load of wannabes who just like him for his wealth and status in the kingdom. He's a cool and collected guy who doesn't listen to anyone. Josh is the first one out of the two to try something new or suggest an adventure. As he continued to grow and showed no signs of anything angelic she began to let him out a. When he was thirteen, he got in a fight with a demon. It was at that time that signs of something angelic came forth. His hair growing dark and his eyes turning red, he tore the demon apart before turning back to normal. From that time on his mother began training him. She showed the slightest hope that he could learn to control himself so that that side would never be shown again. To her delight it worked for a few years. Then he went out of control. He couldn't keep his angelic side hidden. As it turned out though, he was a demonic angel so no harm came to him.
His best friend is Josh who is almost exactly like him. Their both demons. Okay, so maybe they aren't almost exactly alike. They just share a few common things like beliefs about angels. He's always around Josh and is never seen without his friend unless he's at home.How I Normally ActChris is a total gentlemen. He has the manners of a noble and is politer than one as well. He is a lady's man just like Josh. Though, he doesn't pay much attention to the girls. They seem to crave his friend more then him which, he doesn't mind. She gave up her wings and was planning to kill herself but stopped. She thought jumping off the highest ledge on the Malicious Mountains was the best way to go. Though, she didn't exactly survive the impact. Dawn was almost dead when an elderly man saw her. He nursed her back to health and somehow that made her part demon.
She continued to live with the man not knowing he was a demon himself. He always seemed to hate them and tried to influence her to hate then as well. She doesn't really understand why nor did she get the chance to ask them. When she was seventeen he died and left her to herself. It was a little while after meeting the two best friends that she realized she was part demon. Now she still talks to Josh and Christopher but not really. She spends a lot of her time doing as she pleases and is slightly interested by the human girl Anastina. Occasionally, Dawn will watch the girl since she is amused by her.How I Normally ActDawn is shockingly a peoples person. Well sort of. She only likes talking to certain 'types' of people. Humans aren't actually one of them. She finds them cocky and arrogant. She prefers the finer things in life and is a fighter until the end. Dawn is the type of girl that you could describe fiery and feisty. Instead, his parents had always found him alone in outside staring at the sky. They confronted him asking why he didn't want to go make friends with the other kids his age. When he responded by saying that he already had friends and gestured towards the surroundings. His parents were freaked out and believed this to be unnatural. They were both human and knew of angels.
Angels had been kept a secret from him. His parents sheltered him from the outside world. Humans were the only ones that lived in their village. The most normal humans ever. No wonder why his parents freaked out. As he grew up, he continued to be crazed over nature.How I Normally ActDimitri acts very laid-back and calm. He still seems to prefer sitting outside more than talking to actual people, but he doesn't ignore or run away from anyone. He's very stubborn and acts slightly conceited, saying only half the sentences that goes through his mind and saying that if people had any common sense, they'd be able to figure out the rest. A hard person to really understand at first, since he doesn't openly portray many emotions. But he's actually quite gentle and kind, he just tends to show it in a very round-about way. All of them are angels. All the women in his family are somehow pure angel with white wings. Him and his father however, have been cursed with being Fallen angels.
He doesn't mind what he is. He loves his two sisters dearly even though they are a pain sometimes. He seems to get around and has created a few enemies because of his blunt comments. Though she does work for what she wants even with the ability to get anything at the simple request. Most of her time is spent inside the house during the day. At night, it's a different story. Though if you would of asked her what she was doing as a child, she would respond with a simple 'watching'. Now a days, you will see the same thing. If you asked her now what she was doing, she would look at you slightly bored and go back to doing what she had been doing all along. She is misunderstood. Many think she is a snob because of her family but she isn't. Then some believe she is insane. Deep down she is a loving girl but has a pretty nasty bite that's worse then her bark. She often uses her malicious sarcasm to cut down people. It's always brutal, her cutting someone down, but she forgets about it when her anger subsides. Fate isn't quite bipolar, not in the extreme, anyway. She won't be in love with you one second, but want to kill you the next. No, a more relaxed version of that. Much more relaxed. It also doesn't take her long to open up to you. If she likes you then she'll be smiling and laughing and just all over the place.I Was Born And Raised In The Castle In The Sky as the 'Angelic Human'.There's something else you ought to knowShe hates bright lights and is the happiest at nighttime. It is believed that she suffers from Insomnia.
