Our field show this year was Grease...
We haven't done too much movie music. Last Spring we did a PotC thing. It wasn't that bad.

four years ago, my brothers freshman year, we did "The Nightmare Before Christmas", it looked so cool, all the guard members were dressed like Sally and tossed around pumpkins, it was so cool.

We played the Midway March by John Williams. It was pretty cool. And we played "Gilderoy Lockhart" from Chamber of Secrets one day in class last year just to play it (it got rejected for our concert because it was waaaaaayyy too easy).
We've also done Grease, someone wanted to do Pirates of the Caribbean, but our director said we couldn't do it unless she found an arrangement that wasn't just for middle school bands.
We do a lot of movie stuff for our Showcase concert in December--not always as a full band, though; it's mostly small ensembles. Under the Sea, Addams Family, Pink Panther, Music of the Night (technically Broadway, but still a great song).
I'd really love to do some Danny Elfman music, but our director is more of a John Williams kind of woman. Damn those brassy overtures! :[

This year we played a ton of stuff from Grease for marching band. We also played Pirates of the Carribean, that was cool. And in the past we played at least 2 Star Wars songs. I actually liked them =3

We've done The Incredibles and The Chronicles of Narnia. Narnia was the worst out of the two... When we played The Incredibles, we were a 10th of a point from making the top ten at state.
