Fennel seed tea supresses your appetite and aids digestion and loss of water weight. Drinknig one cup in the morning stops you craving food until well into the afternoon. It tastes sort of like liquorice, quite nice actually, and its dirt cheap. you can buy the dried seeds at teh supermarket in the dried herbs/spices section, or go for the tea bags at a health food store - whichever. really helps a day or two into dieting when THE CRAVINGS begin

Stay away from dill, though. Yes, including pickles, unfortunately. Dill is a lovely tasting herb, but it has the inconvenient side effect of being an appetite stimulant. It'll make you hungrier.

Hmm. I did not know that. :3 I actually have quite a bit of fennel, but I haven't made tea with it in a while. I'll have to incorporate that into my breakfast (because of course, you still need breakfast!).
