The sun was high in the sky and helped to warm Tiamat's coat. Golden eyes twinkled brightly as she couldn't help but to grin. With a playful pounce, she landed not too far ahead before she glanced back. A frown spread across her face as she shook her head. Her sister was taking too long! She called out, "Come on, Naga! Lets go have some fun!" Her tail flicked impatiently, she couldn't figure out why her sister didn't want to leave the family den. There was so much to do around them, so many things to explore, and many lions to meet! Unlike her more rambunctious sister, Naga'nika was not at all too inclinced to want to wander too far away from her mother and father. Her pale paws took her slowly through the grass, hoping that maybe they'd run into a relative that take them back to the den. Her ears flicked forward as she heard her sister call out to her. A soft mumble of a reply, "Coming...coming..."
As the pale green cub made her way to her sister, she couldn't help but to have her ears slightly lowered. With a pout on her face, she looked at her sister, "Tiamat, why do we have to wander all the way out here? What if we get lost and can't find our way back home?" She would have been much better off playing back closer to the den, she couldn't help but to feel slightly unnerved while her sister was not.

Dakarai was out by himself currently, his mother sleeping and his siblings still in the den. Normally this momma's boy wouldn't go far from his mother's side, but the golden cub wanted to lie in the sun for a little while. Not far from the den, he found a nice sun rock and climbed. It was an easy rock for maybe an adolescent but something of a climb and struggle for the cub.
With a running start, he got close to the rock and jumped. Not going according to plan, he was now half on the rock and half off; too bad it was his heavier bottom half that was not on the rock. Tiny cub claws out, he struggled to get a grip and pull himself up. Because of the necklace, and the charm being caught under the light golden fur pressed hard against the stone, his poor little muzzle was pressed against the rock. It smelt like warm well..rock, but that wasn't exactly the best smell in the world right now.
Fortunately, he got a foot hold enough to get himself all the way onto the rock that now bore shallow claw marks. He didn't have to call for her, and was safe on the perch, but he still looked behind him for his mother. Shifting, nearly whining at feeling uncomfortable without her near. The only thing that stopped the cub from calling was his blue eyes saw green moving.
Maybe it was his new friend Shuman, calling out excitedly from his perch, he said, "Hello!" Thats when really noticed the different pelts, still green but the markings were different. Now, the cub was not so sure of himself and was thinking of calling for his mother.

Not at all dishearten by her sister's attitude, Tiamat trodden on happily. She wasn't sure if her sister's question was something that needed to be answered. How could they get lost out here! Plus, with their two heads, they were surely able to find there way back home in case they had gotten lost. "Naga--" Just as she was about to say something to her sister, a voice called out in greetings to them.
Curious as to where the voice came from, gold eyes flicked around till they settled on a golden cub some distance away. With a wide smile on her face, she called out jubilantly, "Hello!" This day was just turning up already. She glanced back at her sister, motioning her to come along so that they could meet the other cub.
With a soft sigh, Naga'nika didn't know why she had followed her sister out here when she clearly didn't want to be so far away from the den. She just hoped that their mother didn't find out any time soon or else she could only imagine the trouble they might get in. Ears were slightly downward till she heard the voice as well. Then, her ears perked up as she followed her sister's gaze.
The golden cub was not too far away from where they were, but she didn't recognize the cub. It definitely wasn't apart of their large family. She was slightly curious, but she didn't want to let her sister know that or else she'd just see her sister's cheeky side. She spoke softly, not at all knowing if the other cub heard her or not, "Hi."

Oh no, he thought, they heard him! His ears lowered as he wondered what to do, Momma wasn't here neither were his siblings. Shifting his little paws, he looked back to his den and wanted to call out. Taking a deep breath, he turned and resisted a whine, two unknown cubs and he was all alone.
With no other choice, certainly couldn't run away from them, he spoke again, keeping his safe perch, "I am Dakarai, nice to meet you!" It would be rude to ask of they knew someone before he knew them, so he sat and waited, tail twitching slightly, the sounds of the beds moving aganst the rock being the only one coming from the pale cub.

With Naga'nika to her side, Tiamat couldn't help but look up at the golden cub resting on the rock. Ears perked forward, she could hear the rattling sound of his items. She wanted some items, she'd have to ask her dad about it later whenever she got around to going home. With a bright smile and a playful swish of her tail, "It's nice to meet you, Dakarai. I'm Tiamat and this is my sister, Naga'nika."
Her golden eyes twinkled brightly before she looked to her sister with a sigh. Why did she have to be so shy? Her gaze shifted back towards the cub, "Are you from around here?"
Lime green eyes caught her sister's gaze. Naga'nika knew what her sister was thinking and she couldn't help but to give her a weak smile. She couldn't help it that she wasn't like Tiamat at all. With a small smile, she looked to the new cub, "It's nice to meet you." It would have been rude not to say something back to Dakarai, even if she was a little nervous about it in the first place. Her ears perked up as well, she did hear the noise that the other cub was making. Shyly asking, "What are you wearing?"

Once again, he looked around a moment, he had brothers and a sister but no one to introduce so he looked forward again resisting the urge to shake. They were nice though, and he was starting to feel more comfortable. Smiling more, the cub started to slowly come out more.
Nodding he said enthusiastically, "I am, I live with my Momma and my brothers and sister in our den a little ways behind me." He watched the two girls, they were really pretty. Green wasn't unsual to him, in his current world there were only three fur colors; gold, black and green. "Tiamat and Naga'nika are very pretty names." He blurted out and tried so nicely to hide when he was in a rock above most everything.
The question about what he was wearing made him look down at the necklace and bracelet. "They are my items, I have the necklace, a bracelet and a tail..bracelet?" He looked behind him to look at his tail to try and figure out what it was, and slid off the rock from being off balance. Hitting the ground with an oof, he walked around and looked around the rock before slowly starting to approach the cubs playing it off as much as he could by distracting with a question, or trying to distract. "Do you have a brother named Shuman?"

As Dakarai answered her question, Naga'nika smiled slowly. "They're very lovely!" They looked very nice, they matched his eye colors. That she did notice. Though, she couldn't help but to blush shyly as he commented on her name. The little pale green cub has never really had someone comment on her name before. She turned to look to her sister.
Tiamat, on the other hand, couldn't help that smile on her face brighten up. Oh, this was just good news to the cub. This means that there are plenty of other cubs to play with out there! She wouldn't have to be bored for so long. "Really? That's neat. Our den is right next to my Dad's family. He has a large family here." She nodded. That's one thing that she definitely knew, they had a huge family here as well as some branching outside the pride.
At Dakarai's question, she tilted her head, "Oh? You know Shuman? He is our brother. Have you met him before?"

Dakarai had a shy smile of his own, softly saying, "Thank you, Naga'nika." to Naga'nika's compliment. He took the liberty to blend into the grass as much as his little body could. The more outgoing of the sisters spoke up and he looked to her, blue eyes slightly distant in thought. "Must be lots of other cubs to play with around with a large family, mine is small but nice." All he had was all he felt he needed, his Momma and then his siblings. Sure, he had a dad, but he wasn't close to him.
A common cub was brought up and he sat up more and commented, "I met him and his--your Momma. He and my brother played together while our mommas talked, they are old friends." Smiling he remembered the fun he had playing and wondered of these nice girls would like to play as well? "Would you ladies like to play as well?" He stood at the idea, sometimes his older brother could be no fun, but new cubs could always be fun!

The pale green cub nodded her head, Naga'nika replied. "Well...not too many other cubs to play with really. Most of the family is older, but we do have cousins just about the same age as us." She did get to see her cousins quite often, but most of her relatives where either adolescences or adults. "That's neat that you got to meet our mom and Shuman!"
Her ears perked up at the mention of playing, "That sounds like fun." She was a bit hesitant, but at the very least it couldn't hurt to have fun and get to be friends with Dakarai. Afterall, this cub knew her brother.
Golden eyes watched Dakarai as Tiamat smiled. Her tail flicked slightly as she replied, "Oh, that's wonderful! We can all be great friends then!" The idea of having plenty of friends to play with was definitely an idea she was starting to like more and more. Especially with her family, there was plenty of fun to go around. "They can get annoying sometimes...always keeping an eye on you and not letting you have as much fun as you wanted to." But, she loved her family very much.
The idea of playing was something that definitely perked her interest. Her gaze shifted over to her sister before she turned back to Dakarai, "That sounds like a great idea, just what we were looking for! What would you like to play?"

At least they had some family their own age, "Thats good, doesn't fun not to have anyone your own age to play with." Luckly he had his sibling and his Momma who was the best fun ever. He felt even more excited about the idea of playing because she liked it. The question was what to play, would a game like pouncing be too rough though? Mostly playing with his brothers, he wasn't sure if the girls would like to play.
Tiamat's comment brought a bigger smile; lots of friends would be wonderful. Hearing what sounded a little like his older brother, he nodded, "I can understand that, a little, my big brother Hondrai keeps an eye on me, my baby brother and sister, not as fun but he is not too bad." That got him thinking about how nice it would be to have his brother there, he may not be as fun sometimes, but he looked after him. When he had wondered off and gotten lost, without his big brother noticing, he might have been lost a long time.
The games, he thought hard about what they might like. "Well, I like tag and pouncing, but I also love learning new games," Pawing lightly at the ground, he wanted to play, but something they wanted to do as well. His blue eyes started at Naga'nita and traveled between the sisters waiting for their responce

Thoughts ran through her head as Tiamat tried to think of games that they could play. Sure, there were plenty of games that she loved to play, but with Naga here, she'd have to remember that her timid sister is not as rambunctious as she is. So therefore, it'd have to be something that she'd play to.
Golden eyes shifted towards her sister, "Naga, what would you like to play? You know me, I'll play just about anything!" She smiled and then giggled.
As Naga'nika listed to Dakarai talk about the games that he likes to play, she recognized them both. But, she's never really been too much into rough-housing. That was more along the lines of something that her sister would do. Although...
She looked at her sister with a small smile, "I don't know..." Her voiced trailed off before she looked to Dakarai, "Have you been to the watering hole? Pembe showed me a spot that's fun to play in, the water's nice." She liked the water, that's one thing she loved to do was get wet.

He was torn, he liked playing with the girls, but to go away from his momma. Looking back to his den, he struggled with the choice, Naga'nika wanted to go to the water, she looked happy at the idea.Tiamat seemed to as well. Shifting his paws a bit he looked back and said, "The watering hole, isn't too, to far from here."
Walking a few paces towards the girls, smiling he says, "I need to get back before close to dark, but we can go play for a while." Thinking about having fun, he was able to feel a bit better about the choice.

With a slight shake of her head, Naga'nika replied hoping to quell Dakarai's fears of going too far away from his family's den. "Oh no, they're not too far away from here." She turned her head to her right, motioning in that direction, "It's just in that direction and we would definitely be done by dark...I don't think our mom would be too pleased if we were out all night either." She let out a soft giggle, ready to head towards the watering hole if Tiamat and Dakarai was ready.
The brighter green cub nodded her head as well, Tiamat knew where the watering hole was, considering the amount of times she has gone there with her sister to play. That was one of the few places her sister did like go to away from the den since they did have a lot of fun. With a large smile on her face, she turn to head towards the watering hole, "This shall be so much fun!"

Daka was persuaded by Naga'nita and started walking towards her. "Alright, lets go." He was still uneasy about being away from his Momma, but looking at Naga'nita and Tiamat, he was going any way. A hop and a misstep later he was close to Naga'nita. His necklace lightly thumped against his chest as he moved but the soft fur there cushioned him. Smiling to both, the golden lion followed along, ready to have fun.

Pale eyes gazed back to look at Dakarai, Naga'nika was excited. She loved the watering hole. Her tail flicked slightly and it wasn't too long before she perked up a bit. Happily, she called out, "It's up ahead!" And with that she raced forward to pounce in the water. It was nice and cool to the touch, making her get completely soaked. She flicked her gaze back to them, "Come on in!"
Her tongue stuck out at her sister, Tiamat couldn't help but to wonder if being shy was just an act because her sister was being rather out-going at the moment. She looked over to Dakari, making sure that he was coming and then glad to see him among her sister and her. To Dakarai, "She doesn't like the water, oh no she doesn't." Then, she looked to her sister splashing in the water just right in front of her as she came to the watering hole, "Some of us would like to take our time and not jump right in!" She teased.
