Archie sighed and crossed his arms, trusting the heat from his body to warm his hands. It was only a short walk from his home to the Unit, but he had chosen to take it with no coat and just the strange, earflapped hat he had been wearing in the house all day, besides normal clothes, so he was a bit cold. He hugged his forearms to his torso, forcing his bruised stomach to sing with pain through the near overdose of aspirin he had been taking since Jera had kicked him. He had done what she asked. He had found... healthy genetic material, as she had put it, and he was in the process of delivering it - correction, him - to the centaur alien.
The plan was to introduce the two, then get the hell out of the vicinity. He didn't even remotely want to be around for the... DNA extraction, and he certainly didn't want to be there if the two didn't get along. Not that it mattered whether they liked each other or not, but it might be nice. Right?
He flipped the latch on the fence that separated his backyard from the Unit's outdoor training area and looked behind him at this man... this Takia. "Right this way."

At the moment, Takia looked nothing like Dartsmoore had described him as appearing. She'd said he had huge black butterfly wings, pointy ears, and dressed in nothing but a tank top and camo pants. The man acompanying Archie was of average height with a bit of a thicker build. He wore a black sweater, loose jeans, a scarf and a simple baseball cap. There were no wings in sight and his ears, at the moment, were hidden halfway under the cap.
Though of course, this appearance was mainly so that he wouldn't draw too much attention to them during the short trip. Even on a quick walk a butterfly winged soldier man in a tanktop in that sort of weather was noticable.
His response to the statement from his guide wasn't more then a nod. He didn't seem the type who was a high ranked military bodyguard on his homeworld, but then, you never knew with aliens.

Archie's sneakers crunched through the semi-frozen grass as he led the way around the house. The door was unlocked, as was usual at this time of day, so he pushed it open and headed in first. He wanted to make sure no one thought Takia was there to cause trouble.
"J... Surisana?" Archie asked, before he had the door fully open.

"In the kitchen " was the terse reply that came from either Jera or Surisana, it was impossible to tell most of the time as the two had nearly fully melded into one mind frame for the time being. Though Sursiana was usually somewhat more focused and quiet, speaking only when she had something that she needed to say.
The Centaur like teen was busy in the kitchen making a large concotion of cereals with sugar and honey. Normally she wasn't one to eat sweet things but recent stresses had found her relying on hormones produced by high sugar levels to keep calm. In her old form napping or sunbathing would have sufficed, here food was in order.

Gesturing for the man behind him to follow, Archie made his way across the main room, stopping at the entrance to the kitchen.
"Hey, um, I found..." He stepped aside, letting Takia come forward if he chose. "This man has agreed to help you have a baby."

Takia felt sort of uncomfortable about this whole thing. He'd been assigned this duty, and would let them sort out the details, but that didn't mean the man didn't find it a bit awkward. He was just here to do his job, whatever that entailed but if that job was meant to produce children, he'd have to give it at least soem thought and attention.
Though he hoped highly that if this female was the one he was supposed to get pregnant, he'd have either time to get to know her or just be able to donate his...goods. At present, his physical attraction to her was zip, and personality wise, he didn't know her so there was no spark at all. However, the physical attraction flaw was more a flaw with Takia's nature then Jera. He had always been taught to think, learn, and consider before acting. This female was no exception. He wasn't a one-night-stand kind of guy like Lucine was. He'd have to know her before he actually slept with her.
Stepping forward, he made no effort to do more then allow this woman to see him and know of his existance. Getting a better look at her rear, he found himself mentally picturing Brutican standing beside him singing some rap song about being attracted to women with large rumps.

Coal black eyes flicked between Archie and the stranger, to them neither was particularly appealing. Though the stranger, the one chosen to help her was at least in reasonable shape. She had a feeling that kick to his chest would be bruising but not nearly as damaging as it must have been to that weak willed traitorous man who had brought her the solution to her problem.
Knowing that a good impression was probably still necessary she brushed stray braid behind her ear before motioning for the males to come into the kitchen . " Come closer I don't bite.. much" she smirked a bit at Archie " I have been known to kick though on occasion."
She would be polite, for a few minutes at least and then she would need to talk business, to know if she could work with this man or if she would need another. There just wasn't enough time and still so much to do.

Archie nodded, shuffling fully into the kitchen even though what he really wanted to do was turn and leave. If this guy didn't have enough good points on Jera's Dad-o-Meter, Archie had no idea what he was going to do. There were... what... two days left before Dripping Guy and the Snakettes came back? He was trying to remain optimistic, but he doubted another man willing to father a child with someone he had never met was just going to fall into his lap.

Takia strode calmly into the room and removed his ballcap, as it was customary to do before a lady. His black hair was neatly cut short and his dark eyes were now a bit more visible. Placing the cap in his pocket, he then stood at attention, just like he'd been trained to do.
When it came to members of the Nurikan army, Takia was actually a rather fine specimen. Most of the more trained males were older and, by this point, infertile. The younger ones, though more fertile, were in way worse shape, having only enlisted to get attention from females rather then to work and defend their homeworld. Takia'd joined since his father was a General and he considered it to be a right honorable job.
His expression was blank as he waited to be questioned, or sized up by this female.

" Name, rank and serial number soldier" The word were lighthearted and meant to be a play on a human style joke. Still the man screamed military at her which made her instincts to distrust him a hell of a lot more. He could be anyone and up to anything. For all she knew Archie had double crossed her again. Still, she had to give this a chance.

"Colonel Takia Sachita, Rank 2 in the Obsidian Elite." he intoned smoothly. His tone wasn't like a man barking out his rank to a commander, but more respectfully informing someone of his position due to their inquiry. Takia understood that she probably didn't intend his response to be serious, but none the less he'd give her the information. Thoguh he wasn't entirely sure about that serial number bit.

Dark purple hooves clattered loudly on the tiles floor as Surisana backed away from the man before her. For all that their respective systems Weren't that close together Surisana's people knew of the Obsidian Elite. The centaur like woman was none to thrilled to have a member of theirs in her sanctuary. While it was unlikely any of them had a direct interest in her it was oddly suspicious that one had appeared during her time of need.
Her dark eyes flicked over to Archie " Wonderful specimen where the hell did you pick him up ?."

This guy was involved in some sort of military? Archie looked surprised as his gaze flitted from Takia to Jera. "I... um... one of the other guardians came by and I told her about my... problem and she offered the... use... of her... friend?" He hoped he wasn't going to get kicked again. How was he supposed to know that this guy was in some sort of Obsidian Elite thing?

Jera struggled to assert control, though this was not a case of two personality's in one body it was similar. Jera was a shade of Surisana almost a side of her core personalty that had fractures away and held slightly different view and mannerism without really thinking of herself as afully different person. Either way She was trying to gain control as she felt she could be more rational here.
Mostly becuase it was through her experiences that guardians other than her own had been met. She couldn't think of any of them being friends with this group though. Perhaps it was all a lucky coincidence. Still, she was a bit suspicious. She pawed at the ground in agitation before turning her attention back to Takia. " What exactly are you getting out of helping me? Unless you desire to keep the spawn afterwards." Surisana had no use for a child once it was born, not to mention that any child left with her would be in troubles of it's own from other enemies of hers of simply due to her near complete inexperience with young..

Takia glanced over at her once the female's attention was returned to him. "I've had very little to do as of late due to the Nurikan Military being disbanded and no one needing my services as a bodyguard in Tison. Dartsmoore attempting to find me something to do with my time and energy. She said it's good for me. Anyway, I might keep the spawn or at least help you care for it anyway. Depends on what happens."
