Tifa haters reasons for hating our beloved Tifa:

-Huge breasts
-Lying to Cloud
-Leaving a 4 year old Marlene all alone in a bar
-For getting jealous
-For wearing a miniskirt
-For looking like a slut
-For being weak
-For being mean to Cloud

And there are many more reasons to that, but those are the general and ridiculous reasons.

Huge breasts: Come on! Is it HER fault that Nomura decided to get a little pervy? And it's funny that Tifa haters are usually girls. Is it jealousy I'm hearing? Do big breasts automatically mean that Tifa's got something going on? No no no no no! Puh-lease, it's like hating someone because they are fat. rolleyes For one, Tifa does not flaunt. Though she certainly has ample breasts, she is the most reserved person in the whole game....to the point that it ends up hurting her.

Lying to Cloud: I hear this SO many times. rolleyes Tifa is human, that's right, human. H-u-m-a-n! Her reason for not expressing her true feelings were out of fear and concern for his well-being. She was afraid that the truth would hurt him so she kept quiet. Did she know that it'd hurt him in the long run? Of course not! Further, Tifa herself lost some of the memories and lies that Jenova inflicted. It was only during the Lifestream that both Cloud AND Tifa regained their true memories. (reference to Ultimania)

Leaving a 4 year old in a bar: Personally I never found this problematic. neutral And people, isn't Marlene Barret's kid? The man is entirely responsible for her and he didn't object once when Tifa left with him to blow up the reactor. If he was concerned, he'd be like "Tifa, I want you to stay behind and look after my little girl." No, he wasn't concerned and neither was Tifa because in Sector 7 all the residents knew each other. Everyone knew Tifa and Barret so would they not look after her as well? Plus, Marlene is quite grown up for her age. If there was trouble she could take the little elevator too ya know.

For getting jealous: Umm, not to be mean to Aeris and all...but would YOU like it if your best friend knew that you liked this one guy only to openly flirt with him? You'd be pretty upset. Now Aeris was a lovely person, a bit naive, but she wasn't always the nicest of people. You can't blame Tifa especially when the odds are against her...with her best friend taking the front.

For wearing a miniskirt: And I say that not only are miniskirts fashionable, but they are also flexible. Tifa is a martial artist and she needs a lot of freedom to kick! Plus, she's a girl! Tifa is one to dress comfortably and the outfit for that time fit with everyone in the game. What I call slut would be Scarlet. She obviously wanted people to look at that low low low low v-line. rolleyes

For looking like a slut: Once again people like to judge what's on the outside rather than what's on the inside. rolleyes Out of all the characters in FFVII, yes ALL, even Aeris, Tifa is the sweetest woman you'd EVER meet. Her personality is that of a sweetheart, a close ally in battle, a mother, a best friend. Like the reunion files said, there are many dimensions to Tifa's character. You don't see many qualities in sluts. In fact, there are NO qualities in sluts and they DON'T have many dimensions to them. Tifa is the exact opposite of one.

For being weak: This is pretty minor but personally I find Tifa very useful. Though her strength isn't anywhere near Cloud's, her Limit Breaks make up for that. Personally, I think Tifa has the potential to reach Cloud's strength, or even higher! (Hey, wikipedia even said that with the right materia she had the potential to be the strongest in the game. Plus the youtube clip of lvl.7 Tifa against Emerald Weapon all by herself proves that. Fufufufufufufu.)

For being mean to Cloud: She was never mean to Cloud. As a child she was always swept away by her friends who distanced themselves from him. If Tifa had the chance, she and Cloud could have been good childhood friends. At the Well Scene, did she not immediately bond with Cloud after that one night? She even made a promise to him! If she was mean, she wouldn't be nice. xd

And there you have it. biggrin

I umm. Have a confession to make =X I used to be one of these people, before I played the game. (I was a total Cleris nerd before I even picked up FF7) I went to this site where they hated Tifa and bashed her a lot and it got to my head. I LOVE HER NOW THOUGH. ;_;

But... she did lie. Once. I think. When Cloud told his big lie about Nibelhelm, Tifa agreed that it was true. Which is kinda a lie. BUT SHE WAS TOTALLY CONFUSED I UNDERSTAND ;-; <3 <3

Yeah, she was confused. In fact, Tifa too started to believe it herself before really saying, "No, that's not right." Of course she did know what happened, but bits of details mixed in together and pretty soon she was as lost as Cloud. biggrin

xd Lol. I love that sig. Somehow it doesn't strike me as so sexual. Aeris probably wouldn't think of it as a big deal. xd And I love Aeris "wow' expression. xd

Yeah, it does. xd I'm surprised that we don't have a lot of guy members here, haha! It'd be interesting to see them flock here because of their infatuations.

...Isn't FFF like the ONLY active male member? O_o....Makes ya wonder...

Well the only one with a male avatar...but I'm preetty sure FFF's a guy.....>w>; Like I said before I hang out with my guy friend's FAR too much.
