I was at my concert and thought I left my flute at school. I HADN'T. It was still at home. Plus, if I missed this concert, I failed the semester. Fortunatly, my mom dropped it off on time. Plan B was to steal one from a seventh grader.

Wow I constantly have the fear that I'll leave my instrument at home before a concert, but so far I haven't xd

i TOTALLY would have jacked some kidds flute. The problem is, that i play saxophones, and we play with reeds, so if i did that it would basically be like me making out with who's ever's saxophone that is. burning_eyes ewwwie. 3nodding

No way. I keep my flute with me between school and home, and even on trips I keep it with me. The only time I've left my instrument in the locker is a) after a Jazz concert, b) towards the end of marching season when we start holiday pieces but still do parades.

well if it counts our ONE tuba player left his mouthpiece at the school, mainly because he didnt put it on the truck. sweatdrop
and yes i said one. we only have one.

Something like this happened to me. We had District Band tryouts during marching season and I brought my piccolo to school but forgot my flute at home. My parents didn't drop of my flute so I borrowed someone else's flute to use for the tryout.

The problem is, that i play saxophones, and we play with reeds, so if i did that it would basically be like me making out with who's ever's saxophone that is. burning_eyes ewwwie. 3nodding so true..i know what you mean..thats why i want to get my personal saxophone since the schools saxophones have been used by other people you dont know who it was or anything like that..thats why i always use alchool on the mouth piece b4 i play it...ewwwie eek GROSS!!

never at a concert but once i forgot my flute at home on a school day. i ended up using my friends flute which turned out to be even better because it was a really good flute (this was when i had a really bad flute.)

no but on the day of the concert (most of them are at night or the day beofre if the concert is in the morning) i preffer to keep it in the band room jsut incase. i ahd a horrible dream that i did forget it once though. i woke up screaming eek

Ive done somthing similar expect i left it at my middle skool when we had a concert at the high skool. so basicly i had my friends dad take me all the way back to the middle skool.

lol, i forgot my instrument before......inschool band concert....
but it would be ridiculous to show up for a concert after sschool without your instrument.
i have seen it happen though.

I have my own sax and its gross too it smells bad x.x oh yah and once i forgot to bring my sax home to practice and i left it at school i was spazzing cuz i realized it as the bus was leaving and i was leary about leaving it there cuz at the time we didnt have locker locks. What if someone stole it and sold it on ebay 0.0 (but it was fine)

i havent left my sax at home or at school but there is always the fear of it. but in middle school concerts me and my fellow sax friend would forget at least one piece of music EVERY concert and yes all the three years we played concerts so the first concert in high school this year i wasnt there. he was so sad that we couldnt run back to the band room together. lol totally off subject though but it was embarrasing everytime we ran back from the band room to find everyone warming up.
