... though theres only a 3% chance it'll happen this way (which is still better odds then most end of the world theories).

ok, so i had a thought i done thunk during german class because we always debate stuff in there. someone said that Clinton was going to get us into a war if elected president for some reason or another ( either PMS or finding America weak with a female ruler). so for some reason i made the brilliant deduction that Hillary Clinton would have to be re-elected at roughly the same time that the Mayan calendar will end. now i developed this almost crackpot theory:

Hillary Clinton will get elected, run her 4 years, then some country that might find females as inferior rulers (IDK some country like Iraq or China... no offense) will think its the right time to 'strike' America. this, of course, sets off a nuclear war.

theres two probable outcomes though. the 3% outcome mentioned is the entire world partakes in nuclear bombing, then blam, no more earth with people.

while i believe its possible, its not very probable.

any suggestions? thoughts?

SIDE NOTE: i suppose it only pertains to america but it could have a world wide effect.

Here's MY crack-pot theory:

Nothing will happen.
And if apocalypse or some form of radical new age dawns, then alright. But I'm not getting my hopes up.

Edit: Uh...your classmate* doesn't know much about politics. Right now there are about 20 countries worldwide which are already being led by women. Do you see them starting arbitrary wars?

Have you ever heard of Margaret Thatcher? Most European countries have already had a female lead their country, and none of them have gone to war every month. No one attacks their countries because their leaders are female and therefore "weak," either. stare

I hate to sound cliche, but that kind of thinking is just plain male fear of having a powerful woman in office. NEWSFLASH: Women aren't violent; men are. 99% of all violent crimes are committed by men. Women don't go killing people every month, and no female leader has ever gone to war on a whim either. Study a little history.

Gender has nothing to do with one's ability to lead a country. What matters is intelligence, experience, and endurance.

I think most people in the UK would agree that Margaret Thatcher was the single worst prime minister we've ever had (unless they're newbies and weren't around during the Thatcher Years, in which case they'd probably say Blair, since he was also an absolute namb). I think that says a lot for having female leaders.

Nah, I'm just kidding.

Here's my crackpot theory: I'll take some grass from the USA, put it into a voodoo doll shaped like the US, then stick pins into it, and it'll explode. Or I'll upset the delicate framework of the public transport system.

Mitsh, yeah I know. xd

Thatcher was the leader the author of the comic book V For Vendetta had in mind when writing the thing. Point is, she scared everybody, so no one would attack the UK under her watch.

I don't think she'll get elected at all.

Sorry, but women do commit more violent crimes than that, but women often attack other women, and in cases of women attacking men, the crimes often go unreported to the police, but it does happen.

Sam, if you're going to try to say something logical, please muster up all the strength you can to use at least coherent sentence structure. Punctuation and grammar would be nice, too.

Aside from that, I really, really, really, want to prove Knola wrong. Perhaps now is a proper time to go on my little killing spree I've been looking forward to for so long. Women are violent, however, men are generally stronger and built more for combat. The average man can do much more with his fists than the average woman can. Well that, and she'd be afraid to break a nail.

I hate women. I really do. They're obnoxious and fickle and vain and I hate them. Sure, I'm generalizing. I do have one good female friend. I would not want a woman (especially Hilary Clinton) as the president. How are politics in Glasgow looking Mitsh? I'm leaving the damn country if she's elected. Edwards, too. He's an a*****e (yes, I've met him. Sometimes living in NC sucks a**. Like when we have really shitty presidential candidates).

Oh, women are violent, but women, unlike men, if driven into crime, have many more alternatives than violent crime. Most violent crime is committed by men because, let's face it. Men can't be paid whores. ninja All men have is their physical ability when everything else is taken away. Women, however, have an appearance men will pay to get a piece of.

This is going to seem strange, but somehow Sub and I came to the exact same conclusion!

That said... THREAD HIJACK! This thread is now a political thread, not a gender war.

So, what are people's opinions on the mudslinging event of Clinton v Obama, as seen through the multiple debates and the "runs" in Iowa and New Hampshire?

For those unawate, Barack Obama took first place in Iowa by having the support of the young people (not to mention that he'll have the "black vote" if he gets to run for President), Edwards (former running mate of John Kerry in the 04 race) got second, and Clinton took a crushing third place in Iowa.

Not that much later, the second "run," It goes Clinton - Obama - Edwards. Clinton says "I have heard your voice and found my own!" Whereas Clinton says it, Obama has made the reputation of practicing it. Edwards will be either the next Gore or the next Nader. He will likely get the VP spot, but has made it obvious he will continue "the fight" no matter the personal cost.

In the first run for the Republicans, former Arkansas Governor and baptist minster Mike Huckabee comes in first with Mitt Romney (Gov., Mass.) in second (looks like a Baptist v Mormon showdown).

In NH, however, things took a twist. Senator John McCain stole the first place spot right out from Romney. McCain has been the "dead last" guy so far but appears to be picking back up. Romney is hurting. He needed the win in NH win to keep up morale (he's already sunk $10,000,000 of his own private "wealth" into his campaign).
