It's the highest note on the B Flat scale. I just mastered it an hour ago.

it took me till my first marching band show. which was this summer, my fourth year playing. but in middle school, we never /ever/ had need for it, so i didn't bother. once i needed to get it, it took me an hour or so. our embouchures were already tired of playing, or else it probably woudln't ahve taken so long.

I had to know it my freshman year, it's a note in my highschool fight song for clarinet. Took about an hour the first time. Got a song called Green Onions in my Pep band that the clarinet part goes to high F, it's swung eigth notes F, E, C, B, at about 150

WELLLL! That note is so bothersome, but since I was in marching band at the time of having to learn it first, I had to learn fast and memorize the exact fingerings. SUCKED! haha. took me a couple hours to catch on. razz

the more you practice from going to C to that D it gets alot easier
just the more times you get to play it the better you get at it. In our band we will go from like a middle G to that D and i'm like eek at 1st but it really does get easier in time
just practice 3nodding

I learned it my first year, and it took me about 1 minute to hit it the first time, and then about a week to completley master it.
