nah...that would be Saxophones..my sis played the sax..i play the sax..and its one of the best sounding/looking instruments..its unique too..especially the tenor and bari saxophones..not just that if you know how to play one you know how to play them all..and with a saxophone your air doesnt get waisted (like with a flute u lose 60% of your air)...saxophones gotta be the best..

I agree with Blue Roses 3. The saxophone truly is a versatile instrument. And the best part is, there are so many different kinds, so you're pretty much covered for most types of music.

Bassoon, because it has six keys for one thumb and four for the other; totally awesome. cool Plus, it's a double-reed. xd

I think the trumpet. I mean diffrent kinds have been around scine....like...forever. Plus the piccalo trumpet id so small, that is could be a flute.

Well... normally I would go for instruments I play for a "favourite instrument" question, but seeing as how this is "Best instrument," I guess I have to go with the piano. xD You can play anything on it, it's all in front of you. Stays in tune longer, and is pretty much the base instrument, that is, it is what composers use to write, teachers use to teach, and what thousands of people learn to read music on.

favorite instrument would be those who don't say there's is the best, the best instrument would be the band as a whole. -nodnodnod- although most bands could use a few more baritone players. there is no better section if you all sound like one. if you sound like one there is only one to be better... if that makes sense... ^^; sweatdrop

favourite instrument? euphonium. such great tones, can really be beautiful if played right.

'tis good.
