What is everyone's marching style. In my high school it was 8 to 5. What was everyone elses?

8 to 5 is the standard marching step size.
Style is more of Roll Step, High Step, Military, Corps - those kinds of things.

all we know is showstyle/traditional marching yet I wish we would attempt military corps style so we could enter more competitions instead of BOTB every year

we do roll step with straight legs, we used to do bent knee action though.
We do heels up on the backwards march, but I've seen other bands do different, what do you guys do?

Has anyone ever heard of the "check" step? My band doesn't do it, but the Blue Knights do.

roll step. and every rare once and a while we'll add in a high step. I havn't had a season with that in our show yet. (thank god)

Umm in '06 we were using straight leg (glassmen style) but we switched to roll-step in '07 and it looks a lot nice
