Satu walked quietly into the 5th music room on the top floor of the main building. He had arranged to meet Minori here to give her violin lessons like he had promised. He had some simple pieces of music in his bag aswell as a couple of pieces for her to practice on.
He walked in and sat down by the large grand piano in the center of the room. He placed his violin case beside the piano carefully. He hoped that Minori would bring her own violin because he didn't have any spares. He checked his watch to discover the he wast atleast 10 minutes early. He had left with plently of time as to make sure that he wasn't late. After all it really wouldn't do for the teach to be late on the first day.
So Satu opened the lid of the grand piano and took off the dust cover over the keys. Luckly they had arranged for this room to be booked after class for the music club so they didn't have to worry about people interupting them. It also meant that at the moment Satu was completely alone. He stretched his fingers out infront of him and started to play, humming to himself as he did. He started to play "Compinte D'un Autre Ete" which was a song he had been practicing for the last while. In his own little world Satu would fail to notice anyone who would come into them room.

Honestly, Minori was rather excited. She had mentioned the violin lesson to her father (Conveniently leaving up the fact she was being taught by a boy), who had immediately dragged her down to a store to buy one, and regaled her with stories about famous musicians. Well, okay, that part was boring. But learning a new instrument was fun!
Her black hair was tied back in it's usual ponytail which hung over one shoulder. "Now where was it again?" She muttered, peering into each room she passed. A strain of piano music entered her ears and she followed it out of curiosity. A grin stretched across her face as she noted the blond student at the piano. Quietly, she slipped in, not wanting to disturb him as she swayed slowly to the music.

Satu didn't notice Minori come into the room. Once she started playing music he went into his own little world when his fingers moved on their own, the music consuming all his senses. His blond hair flopped down over her face. After all it had been quite a while since he last cut it. But he was used to this by now. He had descided that he was going to clip it back with hair clips but he had forgotten to buy them which meant he had to put up with the slightly yellowed view.
He slowly finished the piece, coming back to the real world, which wasn't quite as wonderful or colourful as his own one. He streched his fingers up over his head before turning around to see Minori starting at the other end of the room. He stared for a minute before turning bright red. "Oh! I'm so sorry! I didn't realise you were here!" he said, his ears and cheeks bright red.

The brunette herself was lost in the beautiful music, her eyes taking on a dreamy state as she listened. Really, she had no idea Satu was such a good pianist. He was much better than her. Oh, Miss Yame would like to have a student like him. She thought, twirling a black strand around her finger absent-mindedly.
Snapping out of her stance once his fingers had played the last note, she flashed him a grin. "It's no problem, Satu-sensei! You play so well! " She paused, an amused twinkle in her eyes. "Much better than me, I might add."

Satu laughed nervously. "I'm not that good now. Plus I havn't heard you play so you cannot really do a fair comparison between the two of us!" he said brightly. "Also you know you don't have to call me sensei. After all I'm in the same year as you." he said laughing again.
He then stood up and reached for the case beside his feet. "We'll theres no time like the present huh? So we may aswell start now right?" he said as he flicked the case open with his long fingers. He took out the violin carefully and took the bow in his other hand. "Well we start tuning first then okay?" he said with a grin.

"But I've heard myself play." The girl objected, walking towards where he was, placing her case down on the floor with gentle care. "Sensei Yami would say the same. She's always telling me I'm clumsy when it comes to playing, and I agree." An eyebrow raised in amusement. "But you're my teacher now, you know." She kidded.
"That's what Madame always says." Minori murmured, following his lead to open her case and withdrew her violin and bow. "Alright." She flashed him a smile, then blinked, noticing the faint pink strands in his hair. "Did you get into trouble for that?" She asked, brows furrowing in anxiety.

Satu laughed. "Haha I guess I am your teacher now" he said smiling. "Well if you want to call me sensei you want then but lets just say that it's not a requirement or anything!" he said smiling.
Satu nodded. "Yeah my parents wern't to happy about it but ym sisters loved it!" he said with a large grin. "Now they won't let me dye it out so I'm pretty much stuck with a pink and blond head now!" He then started to ture his violin. By now he knew exactly how the notes were supposed to sound so there was no need for the piano beside him. "Okay now what I want you to do is play your d string which is the one on the left and fiddle with the knob at the top of the violin until it sounds like my one does." he said lifting the violin to his chin and started to play the rich d note slowly. It was best he taught her how to do this herself rather then doing it for her.

The brunette stuck out her tongue slightly with a small wink. "That's right, freedom of speech."
"Well, it is kinda cute." Minori grinned. "I mean, most boys wouldn't dye their hair pink." Listening attentively to his instructions, brown eyes darted towards him, then her own violin and located the string. Twisting the knob with her other hand, she winced slightly as the note came out a little screechy. "Now you know what my piano teacher means."

Satu laughed. "Unfortinate freedom of speech on my part anyway!" he said with a grin. He didn't mind her calling him sensei anyway but it still seemed odd to him.
"Thank you!" he said smiling. "Well I didn't exactly have a choice now did I? Pink was descided for me. Now I've kind of grown attached to it though" he grinned. Satu smiled as she tried to tune the violin. "Don't worry this takes a bit of time to get used to but once you do you'll be able to do this in your sleep!" he said playing the note over and over to make sure she could hear it clearily. "What does your piano teacher say?"

"You'll have to put up with it." She winked at him, giggling lightly.
"You did pick the dare after all." She grinned. Who knew Chihaya could think up of such a...well, punishment? But it wasn't really so bad. Nodding, she continued tuning the violin, until the note came out as clear as his did. "Well. She says I'm not as graceful in playing than I am in ballet."

Satu laughed. "I think I'm going to have to do that then!" he said brightly.
"Yup I can only blaim myself. I did pick dare after all!" Satu smiled as she tuned the violin carefully. "Well we'll try to change that then wont we? I'll try everything with in my power to get you to be graceful with the violing too. You do ballet? Now that I'd like to see!" Satu said interested.

Minori laughed, grinning at Satu. She was joking somewhat, but she found his sincerity heartwarming. "Yup." Everyone always seemed interested in the fact that she took ballet, for some reason. "You would?" She laughed. "Maybe one day, when we have a performance."

Satu nodded eagerly. "I would love to see it! Hum maybe I could even play for you or something? I really would like to try and find a new orchestra to play with. My old one disbanded a while a go and I must say miss it." he said, his eyes growing slightly distant. He then snapped back. "Okay so is your violin all tuned now?" he asked, smiling softly.

"I could ask Madame about that." Her eyes lit up, shining with eagerness. She listened quietly to Satu. She knew how it felt to leave something, and then look back on those memories and wish...that they could go back in time.
"Yes, Sensei!" She piped up cheerfully.
