It wasn't that she was wrestless, well, okay she was wrestless but that was beside the point. It felt occasionaly like she needed to simply see a bit more of the world than the one hse lived in and this wa sone of those days. Having cast off the boundries of the pride and all thoughts of her mate, the pale lioness padded through the world alone and unhindered by anything, her gaze turned upwards as she perused the clouds above.

A gentle sigh rolled over her lips as she thought of nothing and everything allowing her mind to wander to less important things than politics and the future, simply allowing herself to live in the now. It was a nice thing to do. the now was quite pretty after all.

Yellow! For a single moment, Djakovo's heart soared at the sight of the color. Then, just as quickly, his ecstasy vanished as he realized with a pang that it was the wrong yellow - his sister was more orangish - and that she had not a trace of black or white in her fur. She was definitely a lion though. Perhaps that, and his endless hoping that someday soon he would catch a glimpse of his beloved sibling, was what had brought him to think that it was her.

He was one who believed in fate, and though he didn't think that asking would do anything in terms of reuniting him with his sister, he decided for once to try it. Perhaps, he mused, fate was not everything. Maybe sometimes, the lost traveller could really ask for directions and make it to their destination. Perhaps not everything was meant to be, and one had to fight to get it.

He paused. So there she was again, having him questioning his faith even though she was not there beside him. That she could influence him so much even in her absense was stunning. And he decided then that he would ask for her, much as he disliked talking to strangers.

Catching a glimpse of a chocolate coat the pale yellow female strode forwards without any trepedition. She wasn't one to hold back and seem frightened or cautious. It wasn't in her nature to hold back in the face of a stranger. As it was her size usually kept her out of trouble for she was no small lioness, strong and agilein a way she was a warrioress with some faults, but a warrioress none the less.

"Hello." she puurrs lilac eyes resting on the large male before her. She settles quitely, she hadn't expected to speak to anyone today, but she wasn't averse to a conversation with someone new. It would take her mind off her own troubles.

As much as he was unused to meeting strangers, the politeness he had been born with kept him from leaving once he had been noticed. And since the yellow lioness was obviously coming toward him, he simply stood and waited for her to arrive.

"Good day to you," He said politely. Every word his said was short and gave the feeling that they were fighting to be spoken. It was as if he had kept so many words he had wanted to say down in his lifetime that the ones that did make it out had done so with a battle.

Gurami raised a brow at the big male, far from being completely against males, Gurami liked to speak to males and though his words were short and clearly forced she smiled. "You seem lost sir." She whispers flickering her tail and turning her gaze away from him.

"You're a stones throw from pridal borders." she puurrs her lilac eyes turning once again upon him. "Perhaps I can help you find your way?"

Just so it wouldn't seem like he was completely emotionless, he pulled a quick half smile, which usually did little more than make him feel better. The truth was, he wasn't exactly lost more so than that he didn't really know where he was. But that didn't mean he was lost. If anything, he had no idea where he was by choice. He was looking for his sister, and based on what he had always believed, he had simply let himself wander where he may, hoping that his feet would lead him to her.

He was near pridal borders? He didn't want that now. He wasn't against other lions, but he felt uncomfortable with the thought that he might easily have trespassed on others' land. Suppose it was the land of a hostile pride. Although if this lioness were a part of them, he had little to worry about. In any case, he wasn't looking forward to straying into marked territory, and he was glad she had been there to tell him so.

"Um, thank you," He said with a nod, wondering why he sounded uncomfortable when really he was aiming for polite.

Gurami smiled sweetly her pale lilac eyes resting on the big male. "You're welcome if you head in that direction, "She paused and raised a paw "You will miss the border by quite a bit if you wish to." She gave a gentle nod, it was clear to her that this male didn't want to stray in to any pride let alone the one in to which she belonged.

"May I ask, you look troubled." She tilted her head ina curious friendly manner, "It's not my place but if you wish I can listen to your words, perhaps I can help you become un lost if that is what you wish."

"Thank you," He said in response to the simple directions she had given him. Easy to follow, that was what would help. Mentally, he marked the way she had pointed out. Perhaps, he mused, this was a sign that he didn't need to ask for help finding his sister. Because this yellow lioness had obviously read his mind, or something close to it, and had helped him out without his even asking. Perhaps that would happen later on, too.

He wasn't so much troubled, he decided after a moment's though, than wondering when, if ever, he would be reunited with his sister. Certainly he wanted and hoped that it was a question of "when" and not of "if" but he had to be realistic in knowing that it would never be as simple as just hoping he would see her again.

"I just wonder when I'll see my sister again," he said finally. Though deep inside he knew that it was, in fact, a question of "if," he had never voice out that concern before. The hard part was always admitting.

Gurami tilted her head gently. A sister? She tried not to find it strange that a male would search for his sister, after all her own pride didn't revolve around males, in ehr pride males, though recognised as members wern't the ones in charge, males did not search out their sisters, it was their job to do what females usually did. Pushing this thought aside she let a smile roll over her maw.

"I see, well some say if you search hard enough you'll find what yu're looking for." She smiled gently a sweet gaze in those lilac eyes. "I'm sure you will find her if she wishes to be found." Perhaps this was not the best course of action but if one did not wish to be located, it was easy enough to get lost in the world.

((Whoaaa, I fails at life D:

So sorry for the lateness!))

"I doubt she would wish otherwise," He returned with a small smile. He wondered whether or not she belonged to the pride she had mentioned earlier on, and if so, what they were like there. He had never wished himself to be a part of a pride - being around too many others brought him fear that perhaps one of them might find reason to kill him in the dead of night - but he had always fascinated at the many different cultures in different prides.

He seemed to remember his manners, then, and decided perhaps an introduction would be most fitting, as they were in most chance meetings. It was just something he had learned from his sister, that often others thought it only normal to exchange names. He missed the feeling of being taught something by her that should have been so normal, but somehow felt so foreign to him.

"I'm Djakovo."

"I go by Gurami, it's fairly difficult to shorten so you can call me that." she winked playfully looking at the big chocolate coloured male quietly for a long moment. "I'm sure you will find her then." she whispers her pale lilac gaze resting on him thoughtfully for a long moment.

"i should really get going. If I'm away too long I will be missed." she puurrs looking back in the direction she had come. "Is there anything else i can help you with Djakoyo, before I leave?" she tilted her head gently, a curious glint in her friendly eyes.

"Gurami," He repeated, keeping in mind her name and the image of her face so that, if they should ever meet again, he would know who she was. Perhaps one day he would wander by here again and perhaps if he did, it would be with his sister again, and they could perahps drop by and see what this pride was like.

He thought for a while at her offer. Was there anything he needed? He didn't particularly like asking favors and owing others, but he considered it all the same. From their brief meeting, he had already come to the conclusion that he liked her, and though it would take more than just a single chance meeting for him to start putting trust down, he figured that if he did have some favor to call in, he could.

But there really was nothing, and so he smiled as warmly as he could and shook his head, his kind amber eyes meeting hers. He wouldn't keep her any longer if she was needed back. Then, almost as an afterthought, he added, "Thank you."

Nodding her head the lemon yellow female bowed her slender head and turned. "You're welcome, and good luck finding your sister on your travels." she purrs turning to pad away down the trail she had come from. She could be kind to males, there wa sno law against her being nice to others and she felt sorry for the big chocolate brown male, she couldn't imagine her life without her sisters..

A gentle sigh rolled over her lips as she started to trot home, her private time had been interrupted, but she couldn't complain, the dark male had opened her eyes slightly, after all she had so much in this world, what did she have to complain about?

Home would soon loom in the near distance, her family, her mate and her true home, she really couldn't be any happier in this life time.
