I am sooo confused! I had my period on the 26 of December (I remember cause I went to my cousins house on the same day.) and my period finished around the 31st. Now today! Jan. 5~! I have blood coming out!?!?!? (sorry if I'm spazzing) I don't want to make you girls feel uncomfortable but its kinda burning right now and it doesn't really look like blood....it looks brown-ish red?(didn't take a good look) I feel sick just talking about it and thinking about it. D': I'mma go check it out again. Please help?! Maybe its because I taking Diane-35 for my acne??

hmm. how very strange. =/ how much blood is there? just a dot, or a small patch, or a-freaking-lot? if there's only a patch of blood, it's alright. and if the color is a bit brown, that's okie-dokie too, that just means it's been, um, in there for a while now, or you discovered it after it already dried. and about the burning part: er, that sounds funky. i suppose you should wait until tomorrow to see if it continues, and if it does, then maybe check it out with a doctor or somefink?

Rocket Surgeon Hmm... well, how long have you been having periods?I've had my period since I was 15, so that would mean I had my period for 2-3 years now. I know it doesn't go regular after like 5 years....but it was never like this. I always skipped a mouth.

Yeah, I was gonna say about the 5 years thing... xP Mine does weiiird things all the time though. Like last year, I skipped my period for 2 months. And one other time, I had 2 periods in a month.
So I don't think there's much to worry about... But if it burns... like, it burns badly, you miiight wanna see a doctor.

Brownish/reddish blood is normal. It means your period is coming to a close.
Sometimes, because of stress, your period will extend longer than normal. It may also change depending on your diet. From what my calendar says, it's been, what, a little over a week? >>; It should end soon. Don't worry, okay? You're not gonna make it any shorter by stressing over it @_@;

The fact that you said it's burning confuses me. How is it "burning"? Is it burning like... you rubbed too hard with toilet paper? Burning like... you put a tampon in when you were too dry? Burning like... you took a tampon out when it was too dry? Burning like... you might have scratched yourself down there and the pee is stinging against the cut?

I never tired a tampon before so I'm not sure how that kinda burn feels like...I guess, rubbing toilet paper theory? @Asashina: I guess it could be normal... I had a period once that lasted for 11 days. I think I'm feeling a bit better. xD

I would say, don't panic or freak out too much unless it goes on for a really long time. I had a period that lasted two and a half months a short while ago. Now that was pure hell. Periods at any age can be kind of tricky, but especially so when you're younger. I think you're perfectly fine. smile Just, as Asa-chan said, try not to stress too much or you'll make it worse.

Well like for me i almost didn't have a period for a month. Went to the doctors and it was cause of my diet and weight. now i dont know if you have that problem but i semi do so that explained a lot. Now the brownish could be three things. What everyone said earlier or for me it was kinda like a "spotting" period. It wasnt exatly my real period but a had a spotting one once a month.
Now the funny part in a sense is that New Year started i got my actual period since 6months on wednesday.

Because of my endomitriosis, I used to have periods twice a month for 10 days. And they were so heavy of periods that I would bleed through my pad =o= So my mom put me on the pill. It was regulating my hormones @_@; So my periods are normal now...
But if the problem continues, then maybe you should see about getting on the pill too. But first, always seek your doctor's help first xO
