Has anybody here learned to do both yet? I'm working on learning left-handed bass. I can play normal guitar and bass pretty well (hardest things I've worked on each: Crazy Train, by Ozzy (with solo) - guitar; Bat Country, by Avenged Sevenfold - bass (I can't really find any hard songs for bass). As far as lefty bass goes, it took longer for me to learn to use the pick than it did to play finger style. And on guitar, my right hand is reeeeaaaly uncoordinated. If you don't remember how it feels to be a beginner, pick up an opposite-handed instrument. Also, does anybody know what the purpose of left-handed instruments is? I mean, they look cool next to a normal one on stage, but if you just picked up a string instrument for the first time, you learn either style just as hard. But to get back to the point, has anybody here tried to learn both ways, or known somebody who has?

I want to. I haven't tried yet. I'm gonna once I get good enough at right-handed though. Imma try on Guitar Hero though xD
And if you're looking for good bass tabs, I would say anything by Muse, and a complicated bass tab (with solo) would be Cage by Dir en grey.

Not amazeingly hard but try learning Unquestionable Pressence from Atheist on Bass. wink Should Make you sweat.

I want to learn how to play left-handed bass and guitar. I've tried left-handed bass and it's as easy as right-handed bass, but left-handed guitar is killer.
