The Clan of the moor. WindClan camp is on a raised hill, with the falls to the south, a farm to the north, and highstones to the northeast. They are the quickest and slimmest of the Clans, and are known for their preference to hunting rabbits.
Leader
Username: Kei Masurao Character: Smallstar Gender: Tom Rank: Leader. Age: 36 moons. Appearance: This is what he looked like in his late apprenticeship. Since then a small white dot formed in his forehead. Nobody is quite sure why. http://www.cat-pregnancy-report.com/images/black-cat.jpg Personality: Smallstar is kind yet can turn cross if you turn one of his buttons. He is a good diplomat so he rarely resolves anything to fighting. He loves WindClan and will die for it. Smallstar also sometimes gets a stiff leg, which he got from when a badger attacked the Clan. Other: Lightpaw is currently his apprentice.
Deputy
Username: Nightmare Giraffe Character: Dragoneyes Gender: She-cat Rank: Deputy Age: 26 Appearance: Dragoneyes is pitch black with green eyes. Scars cover her back legs from a badger attack when she was an apprentice. They do not hinder her at all. One of her ears is shredded. A medium sized cat. Personality: Dragoneyes is fiercely protective of her clan. She will fight for it, die for it, and lead it to the best of her abilities. She loves kits and visits the nursery on a regular basis. Dragoneyes is happy most of the time. She doesn't always admit when she's wrong, but usually after a while she does. Always goes to the elders if they need her. Windclan's 'weak' reputation has always bothered her, and is always trying to change that reputation. Other: Hates to be too hot or too cold. New-leaf is her favorite season.
Medicine Cat
Username: Lilypotter1234 Character: Lightface Clan: Wind Gender: Female Rank: Medicine cat Age: 18 moons Appearance: She has grayish hair, but can look blue in moonlight. She has a white chest, with white paws. Her eyes are crystal blue. Her tail stands straight up. She also has a white underbelly. Personality: She is nice, but a bit nervous when mentoring. She also hates herself if she does something wrong, or messes up. She is an experienced medicine cat, though. She believes her apprentice will grow to be a good medicine cat. She will attack a trespassing cat, though, gathering herbs or something.
Medicine Cat Apprentice Username: Capistrono Character: Hawkpaw Gender: Tom Rank: Medicine Cat Apprentice Age: 10 moons Appearance: Hawkpaw is a brown tabby with black stripes. He has white paws. His tail is brown ringed with black. Personality: He is very stubborn. Hawkpaw has a temper so don't do anything to agitate him. If you're his friend you'll discover he's actually very nice. He cares for others. He listens to his elders and obeys them. Other: Hawkpaw is a clan born cat.
Warriors
Username:-__-Mew Akeru-__- Character:Sparrowflight Clan:Windclan Gender:She-cat Rank: Warrior Age: Eleven moons. Appearance: She is a calico she-cat with white paws, chest, and belly. The black and orange is patched across her pelt. She has amber eyes. Personality: Sparrowflight is a quiet cat, never speaking unless she must. She is also quite shy. These characteristic traits make her an excellent hunter, and, suprisingly, a great fighter. She is merely a cat who wants to find a nice mate to be with her, and maybe even kits.
Username: Teh Kk Chan Character: Brackenfur Clan: WindClan Gender: Tom Rank: Warrior Age: 30 moons Appearance: [x] Personality: From a litter of three, he was the only survivor during the harsh leaf-bare. During his younger moons, he was unusually quiet and calm. Now he is still calm, but is a bit more friendly, especially towards kits and apprentices. He has a soft spot for kits and hopes that someday he can have kits to call his very own. He is loyal and respects his leader and any other senior warriors. However, he sometimes has a temper if anything ruffles his fur in the wrong direction. Other: Doesn't have apprentice or mate.
Username: lilypotter1234 Character: Appletail Clan:WindClan Gender: Male Rank: Warrior Age: 15 moons Appearance: A reddish long-haired tom. He has big green eyes, with very long ears. He has a very, very long tail, with short whiskeres. He has odd black streaks running through his body. Personality: He's quiet, a bit moody, but nice once you get to know him. He really likes to stay in the back-round, never one to stand up for himself. He wishes to be the best warrior ever, but wouldn't like to be leader at all. He's kind, and would be very lenient when somebody tresspasses on their territory. If he's ever out of his territory, he'd be very skittish. Roleplaying sample: Appletail swished his tail, and leaped for a mouse. Unknowingly, he jumped onto RiverClan territory. He looked around, shaking and hoping that a patrol wasn't passing by, when he spotted a pretty orange-and-white she-cat. He padded over to her, staying on his territory, and mewed, "Hi. W-What's your name?" He listened to her response in a pretty soft voice, "Crystaleye." And lept up to his feet. "That's a pretty name!" The she-cat laughed, and spoke, "Your name is nice too." Other: ^ ^ You're right, the roleplay needs more romances. That's why Appletail's gonna fall in love with Crystaleye.
Apprentices
Username: PiratexXxAngel Character: Lightpaw Clan: WindClan Gender: She-cat Rank: Apprentice Age: 7 moons Appearance: Lightpaw's pelt is made up of shades of brown and white. She has no distinct marks or scars on her body. Her face is white and her eyes are a bright yellow-green. Personality: Lightpaw is quiet and observant. She's very opinionated but only voices her opinion when she deems it truly necessary. Her name is well matched to her personality. She often speaks in as little words as possible and it is an extremely rare occasion when she is loud in any form. Lightpaw is very loyal to her clan. She does not trust cats outside of her own clan easily.
Username: Teh Kk Chan Character: Hazelpaw Clan: WindClan Gender: She-cat Rank: Apprentice Age: 7 moons Appearance: A light brown she-cat with a lighter brown belly. She has amber eyes, and a black tipped tail. http://www.ohmycats.com/images/gryffindor-body.gif Personality: Hazelpaw is a fierce, outgoing cat who isn't afraid to speak her mind. She can somtimes be rude, but she respects the Clan and would be willing to protect it with her life. Other: Mother is Mousepelt (who lives in StarClan now) & I need a mentor X3

((Oh noes! I'm the only one so far in the Wind clan. Go FTW!))
Hanuli slowly creeped along near the edge of the forest, close along to the road she was dropped upon. She was covered in a thin coating of mud from her free caring romp as her tail swung in the air. The forest had a pungent stench of rotting wood, the fresh breath of grass and cats. Hanuli was only aware of the wood and grass... The only other animal scent she recoginzed well was food, two-leggers, and her mother. She trotted back and forth from the forest, until she heard a strange fluttering sound. She was curious of course, her petite paws padding gently against the slushy marsh and the bitter winds buffering her vision temporarily. There was only a slight sense of worry in her heart but majorily she remained giddy about her new surroundings. 'These two-leggers did wonders to our new enviroment... I wonder where mom is.' She ventured about, sensing the awkward tranquility of the forest. No rock left unturned, no blade of grass was left unsniffed, and definetely no tree left unclawed. Hanuli wasn't aware that she was in the thundercat's territory, and marked a territory there. She continued to venture along the roadside as the abundance of trees began to wither away, leaving nothing but an jagged valley. Obscured by rocks laid a plateu filled with withering grass, reaching out for the oncoming storm. It was a distant walk but she scaled the small hill searching for someone, or something that resembled her mother. The scent of the two-leggers lingered and strange structures jutted from the ground. Some looked like a barren tree, others looked like a mountian with trees idly laying around the top. However, what worried her was, she couldn't find the scent of her mother.

Hawkpaw stretched his legs, shaking the moss from his pelt. Looking around the clearing Hawkpaw so no other cats in sight. Hawkpaw walked over to the medicine cat den he checked the shelves, this wasn't good, there were only a couple of old poppy seeds and some marigold. Flushed with anger Hawkpaw stalked out of the camp in search of more herbs. Finally he saw some goldenrod picking it carefully he headed back towards the camp when he suddenly smelled rabbit. Carefully placing the goldenrod on the ground he began to stalk the rabbit. In a swift motion he caught it and broke its neck. Laying down to rest he ate the rabbit in two swift bites. Hawkpaw lay on the open moor for awhile letting his fur absorb the sun's heat. Then he went to the spot where he had dropped the goldenrod and picked it up and began to head back towards camp.

Lightpaw was up at the first light of dawn. She usually was. She blinked the sleep out of her eyes and peered out. She watched Hawkpaw from a distance, frustratedly leave camp to go do....something. How lucky her friend was to be the medicine cat's apprentice. She rested her head on her paws thoughtfully. She was not envious of him but she wished her place in the clan could be just as important. She raised her head and wondered if he'd like some help with whatever he was doing out there.

"Good morning, Hawkpaw. Herbs, I see. Goldenrod, nice." She nodded, and walked away. She knew she should give praise, but not for every single thing he did. She went over to Lightpaw. "Good morning, Lightpaw." She went over to Hawkpaw again. "We really need more herbs, let's go get some." she walked back towards camp, thinking about herb places, and how she'll carry twice as more if Hawkpaw came.

Hanuli couldn't spot any of the three of cats perched upon the Windclan's territory since the field disadvantage. However, the gusts of wind caught the faint scent of cat dander, which perked her up from the blistering winds. Being an instinctive wildcat in the dense forests, her instincts screamed at her to return into the trees away from the sharp eyes of others. However, now she was curious. What sort of cat would dwell in such an arid environment? There were no protection from the jeering rocks up above, nor were there at an advantage from the winds. The only thing that they could detect was by sight, which didn't ail the problem of other cats who have a sharp eyesight as well. Besides, in the forests, dwell the trees, which were excellent hiding places as well as lookouts. 'Maybe it's a good sun?... Tch, not at this time, nor at the moon's parting.' She crouched down as the winds harried her hair as she carefully scaled the hill. Her whisker's twitched as she had to shuffle a bit to get used to the pricking grass instead of her usual hay. 'Perhaps they know where my mother has gone.' She managed half way up the plateau when her delicate nose caught scent of something in the blasting wind. 'Rabbits? Perhaps for the icy dew...' Her sharp ears captured words in the howling wind. She downed her hunger for a moment and quickly jolted up the plateau and held her head up high. 'What could it be on this land? Jaguars? Tigers? Lynxs? Or maybe even a tiger!" Her solid green eyes met Lightpaw's brighter hue of green. She was surprised, at the most. They weren't lions or tigers... 'They kind've look like me! I wonder.' She wasn't aware of Rainface and Hawkpaw approaching from the rear, not that it was of any importance. With a proud if not cheeky voice she exclaimed towards Lightpaw, " My name is Hanuli, which means little sky." At her current position she seemed to blend in the sky. "What sort of species are you?"

Hawkpaw followed Rainface over the moor looking for herbs. Hawkpaw spotted the mysterious cat talking to Lightpaw. The cat was asking Lightpaw a question. "We are cats." said Hawkpaw to the cat named Hanuli.

Lightpaw nodded to Rainface with a small smile to acknowledge and return her greeting. Lightpaw wasn't much of a talker. She liked to think to herself more than speak her thoughts to others. But she respected Rainface. And sometimes spoke to her when she was in the mood for small converation. Which was rare. She gazed out over the moor and saw where the sky met the earth, a pair of green eyes staring right at her. At first she wasn't sure what it was but when she realized it was an animal, and not a very familiar one she unsheathed her claws....not intending to attack but ready just incase.
When the creature spoke she was taken by surprise. She didn't expect that. When it asked her a question she was lost for words....not that she would have responded anyway but then Hawkpaw quickly saved her from the awkwardness and answered the....Hanuli's....perplexing question. She didn't resheath her claws but she was grateful that other cats were here now....just incase.

Rainface mewed, "I won't say too much, you're either a rogue or a kittypet, but we are ThunderClan, and you're on our territory. Yes, we are cats, like you. But, I suggest you get off our territory....because even medicine cats have training to fight." She put her ears back, and drew out a long hiss. She motioned for Hawkpaw to follow. Rainface was trusting, but...it was natural to her to attack any tresspassing cat, and to follow the warrior code.."

"What are you doing on our territory,"questioned Hawkpaw furiously. Unsheathing his claws he got ready to pounce. If Hanuli even touched a hair on Rainface or Lightpaw's pelt, Hawkpaw would hurt her.

Lightface whiskers twitched amusingly for a second at Hawkpaw. She knew he was defending his Clan, but he no cat would guess he was a medicine cat apprentice. Which wasn't bad, Lightface could easily imitate a warrrior. Lightface unsheathed her claws, and walked towards Hanuli.

"Cats? Oh, I'm not a... 'Cat'. The two-leggers call me Hanuli. That's a strange species... I wonder why two-leggers don't keep you in zoos..." She thought out loud hoping to gain information on this new land. "So cold too..." Hanuli had not unsheathed her claws yet at the cats, of course they were a tad to violent but it was understandable. If it wasn't for a glass cage, the tiger she met last season would've snapped her brittle little neck. "Now now... Three against one? Well that's not really fair." She then spoke, ignoring the wild hisses and disgruntled yowls like she was accustomed too by her short tempered mother, "Territory? What territory? I see no box." She glanced around, 'Speaking of mother, where is she? Her ears posed a perplexed stature, "ThunderClan? What's a clan?" She wasn't playing stupid, in reality, the world she knew was her mother and the two-leggers. Of course, neither of them mention a clan. Or anything else of that manner. Even if they were planning to chase her out, she had no intentions of leaving. These savage cats were more temperamental then a lioness with a cub, it was interesting. Even if she could lose an eye. Well she had luck on her side, so getting severe wounds would be slim to none. All she wanted was to know where she was, and who she was talking with, and the lingo they were using was too cryptic for her to understand. "Before you decide to brazen your claws with my blood, indite me with some knowledge... I've never seen this much land ever before in my home." Her mind then thought, 'Besides, who would have the right mind to attack someone who has no intentions of fighting back?'
((Hey you guys, I have a question. when you guys wrote down like 10, or 7 moons, is it in terms of years? Or months? I took mine in perspective of months, so in year terms she is 2. I had not read the book, but I'm planning to on my spare time, so be patient with me. ;D))

((In the book, "moons" mean each moon cycle which lasts one month. In "cat terms" one moon is one month and one month is like a year for a cat. That's why the number of moons are so low. Hawkpaw, for example is the same age in saying 10 moons, as we would say 10 years. A kit can become an apprentice when they are....6 moons? i believe....which is the same as saying six years old....it doesn't straight out say that in the book but you kind of just get it after reading them for a while.))
Lightpaw realized Hanuli was right. Three against one was not fair. She relaxed her muscles...and besides, if the scrawny cat did attack it wouldn't stand a chance. She now realized how small she was and almost felt sorry for her. She ws either very young still or extremely malnourished. Lightpaw took a few small steps toward Hanuli now more curious than cautious and said, "Where do you come from?"
((btw guys i believe we are Windclan ^^))

(( Well, yes, we are, but Windclan can attack. We aren't weak.))
Lightface sighed. "Okay, I'll answer your questions. You are a cat. Your name is Hanuli, like my name is Lightface. Our territory, you must've smelled our scent when you crossed it. We check our borders daily. The warrior code-the rules- say we attack anyone who goes on our territory, three-on-one or six-on-one. WindClan. There are four Clans. Thunderclan- good at huning prey in the forest. WindClan- fastest cats. RiverClan- Can swim and catch fish ShadowClan- Night-hunters, and generally the worst. A Clan is like your littermates. You didn't leave them, and we don't leave. Unless we are banished. I'm a medicine cat, who helps cats who are hurt. Hawkpaw is a medicine cat apprentice, she is in triainging to be a mediince cat. Lightpaw is an apprentice, in training to be a warrior. A warrior fights and hunts for us. An Elder is an old warrior or meidince cat, who retires. A kit is a kitten. A queen is a nursing or looking after her kit. A leader. Runs the Clan. A deputy takes over if the leader is sick or the leader dies. I do not know where your mother is." Lightface looked at Hanuli. "Two-leggers are known as Two-legs, and we don't live in zoos. We do not submit to any twoleg." She mewed. "Oh, and your name can change. I was once a kit, named Lightkit, then an apprentice, Lightpaw, then a warrior, Lightface. Warriors can end in many different names. And if you're a leader, it ends in star. Like if I was leader, I'd be Lightstar. Medicine cats can't have kits." She added, remembering. "Now....That answers everything," She mewed again, keeping her claws unsheathed and her ears back. "The warrior code says no killing cats if we can help it, but we can make them run crying into antoher cat's territory."

((Ah I see. Well I was going in actual human terms of years... I'll just make the fact that she's been used to human terminology rather then ordinary felines as an excuse... XD So... 24 = 2. DX
And yes, I know we are in the WindClan. But I'm not twisting the words of another post. You guys know that it is, and lets just keep it at that.))
"Me? A cat?" She paused and simply snorted. 'Well I can't really deny that part.' After Lightface's monologue she simply just blinked, oblivious to that much new information. 'Who was the one who made all these crazy rules anyways? I mean, I know the basics of cat-hood, but after adolescence you have to live out on your own. Clans?... Hn.' The only thing she understood was, 'We don't live in zoos.' Hanuli cringed, "So... You mean my mother isn't here?" She laid down to absorb the area around her definitely going through a cat kind of culture shock. Those who were still harried by her presence, she didn't really mind. If they can't kill using their claws or teeth then she was in no real danger and she wasn't going to budge from her spot until she were to figure out what to do next. Life without the two-leggers, her mother and tossed into a new world was exciting but extraordinarily frightening. She just wish it wasn't so cold so she could think it through. She shuddered, "I-I used to live in a place with dark haired two-leggers with narrow eyes..." Hanuli paused once again with her forest green eyes gazing at these 'cats'. She remained bundled on the earthy rubble, shuffling by the uncomfortable pricks of the grass. "I've decided." All problems, once she found an answer stuck to it like glue, "I'll join the WindClan. I'll do anything." Hanuli's ears were bent, indicating that she was still unsure and frightened but kept her wavering voice solid, "I've no where else to go." The only thing that Hanuli knew she was going to hate was the Warrior-Code. Hanuli was a free-bound and as the fickle cat she was, hated rules.
