Ves had the room all set up for his next medical checkup and had prepared the track room with plenty of obisticals and other things for Whitehawk as he checked her traits. Omarr was in his conner waiting to see the new kid as they had never met her. He sat down waiting for Fagel to show up and looking over the charts that he was given about her.

You'd never guess just by looking that the girl that followed Seven meekly across the lobby and down to hall, clinging onto his hand with one of hers and fidgeting her wings nervously, was really a little hellion. In Faigle's universe, the rules that applied to Daddy were different than the rules for the rest of the world. Daddy was safe. Everyone else was cruel, dangerous, and strange. This general definition included the scaly man looking at charts. With a frightened hiss, she ducked further behind Seven, peering cautiously out from her hiding place to see how the new person would respond.
Seven, who had no reason to share Faigle's general distrust scaley young men reading charts, waved his arm to attract Ves's attention.
"Halloo! I have Faigle Whitehawk with me. Is this the right place?"

"Hi, yes this is the right place. I'm Ves Snaketail and that is Omarr," he offered the man and pointed to Omarr in his conner of the room. Omarr had found Whitehawk intersting and slithers over to her to find things out for himself. Ves saw what potentialy Omarr could do. "Omarr you play nice to Faigle. I'm Ves," he said kneeing down to her level and offers her a hand shake and a smile.

Faigle looked warily at the extended hand. Her eyes flickered next to the spattering of green and red scales on the stranger's face. He was one of them; the strange people like her who weren't fully human. So far, none of them had ever hurt her. Maybe he could be tolerated. Deciding that he wasn't about to attack her, Faigle cautiously placed her hand in his much larger one, although he kept her dour contenance.
"Nice to meet you." she added stiffly after Seven nudged her sharply. She raised a wing threatenly at him, but Seven ignored it knowing that she wouldn't actually hit him with it. Instead he adressed Ves. "Call me Seven. I'm her mentor, but you knew that, of course. So now that we're here, what'll you have her do."
Having been reminded of the reason for the visit, Faigle was tempted to duck back behind Seven, but her opponent was staring her down and her pride wouldn't allow it. She put on her scariest angry face, which happened to be something of a sullen pout and not very scary at all, and glared back.

"Nice to meet you too," he repled and shook her hand. "Nice to me you as well Seven. First I would like to take her weight and height and wing measurments." he said to seven "Faigle could you stand on the scale for me," he asked her. But Omarr just watched Faigle ploting something fun but not mean.

Having decided that it was probably worth it to be obedient this time around, she stepped onto the scale without a fuss, even folding her wings so Ves would be able to adjust the weights without having to crane over her. However, she refused to look away from him, however curious she was about how much she weighed. It was important to keep your eye on the enemy.
Behind her, Seven frowned but didn't say anything. When she wanted them to be, Faigle's manners were..not quite impeccable, but good enough for her age. When she didn't, she usually had a reason. Whether that reason was valid or not was questionable, in his opinion, but he wouldn't be able to explain it to her now.

Smileing big as it he thought it was a good defence to watch those that you don't trust. But the one that she should watch was his partner, Omarr as he was waiting to pounce when the time was right and he knew it would be soon. So he moving the weights around and when it all balanced out he left it for Faigle to check out her weight as he went over to the couner to write down the information. Turnning back,"You are just a little lighter than others your age but I beleve that because your built for flight. You can step down now and could you spread your wings out were I can measure them," he asked takeing a tape meause out of his pocket.
Ves wasn't to worry about Faigle's manners as he just went with the flow of things and didn't sweat the small stuff and just did what he need to be done.

((Small Note: Faigle can't and will never be able to fly. The small and narrow wings are not an art mistake (though a lot of other things are, but I swear I'm getting better about this. When we get one that can fly, his/her wings will be proportionately large and the trait list will say flight.) However, you can't tell for sure until later, so continue as you were.))
When she stepped off the balance, turning her back to Omarr, Faigle somehow got the feeling that something was not right. In truth, she felt a little as though she were being stalked. That, however, was impossible because Ves was right here where she could see him and Daddy was far too silly to ever sneak up on her unless she let him.
She extended one wing as far as she could. The stretch was comfortable, since she usually kept them folded and out of the way. After checking to make sure that there was adequate space and few obstructions, she unfurled the other one as well.

Ever watching and now Omarr now seeing that Faigel had turned her back to him. Smileing and trying to deside on what to do and to wait for his partner to at least finish measureing her wings.
First taking the measurement of one of her wings, writeing that down and then took the measurement of both of the wings for a total length and addeding that to his notes. Next were are going to test your ablities, but would you follow me to an indoor track to test them." he said and leading them both to a door that led to the track.
Seeing his his opening as they all walked to the track. Stalking as close as he could and when close enought, Omarr wraps his tail around Faigle and his head comming around to meet her. As this was his way of greeting others and giving them a hug, but most of the time not the best thing to do to others. But Omarr still loves to do it.

As she followed the scaly man to the track, Faigle still couldn't shake off the feeling that something wasn't quite right. Then, as she felt something thick and rather strong wrapping itself around her middle, she had only a split second to think about what it could be before letting out an undignified shriek of terror and slamming her fists down on Omarr's head. At the same time, she reflexively beat her wings, trying to dislodge the scaly black rope that she somehow found herself entangled in.
Seven knew he shouldn't, but he was trying rather hard not to laugh. He reminded himself that this was probably a very frightening experience for a young girl of seven, and she didn't know how to react other than with violence, and he should be hoping that the chimera didn't react by biting her arms off or anything like that, but it was just too funny. Really, the thing looked almost cuddly, although Faigle did not seem to agree.

Ves was also trying hard not to laugh as well. As he knew that one day Omarr would get a reaction like this from someone. He loved his chemara but in some way deserved it and Ves hoped that he would think better next time.
After being smacked in the head, he did think about biteing her, but didn't becasue he didn't want to hurt her in that way with his venom, but he would think of something else to get her back for the hit in the head. So he let go with a huge hiss in her ear and scampered over to Ves and climbed on him for confort.
Scratching his friend as the all walked out to the track. "Could you please run around the track a few times as its going to be testing your Agility and Vision Acuity to jump the some of the hurdles that are just visable before you get to them,"

"Shussh. No need to be so scared." Seven chuckled, trying to drag Whitehawk out from behind him. "You hit that thing a lot harder than it did you."
In response, she hissed and folded her wings tighter against her back, but stepped out all the same. She was afraid, yes, but if anything tried to hurt her she was going to give it hell! Giving Omarr one last glare, she started off her momentum with a small hop and started to run.
The tarmac had a good bounce to it under her feet. As she began to pick up speed, her wings rose, tilting forwards with her body to create a streamlined surface while balancing her. The three hurdles were in plain sight. She hopped over them easily, with a flap of her wings to aid her height. The next one was a bit trickier. It came just around a bend, hardly giving her time to react, but she managed to jump straight up by adding another flap of her wings to halt her forwards movement and the heel of her shoe touched down on top of the hurdle for a moment before jumping down and continuing along the track. The next two were spaced less than three strides apart, set at a diagonal. It was going to be tricky, but they were almost all the way down the long part of the track so she had plenty of time to plan.
She jumped high over the first hurdle, then sank in on her landing, her knee nearly touching the ground and her outside wing extended to help keep her balance on the sharp turn she needed to go over the other one.
From the sidelines, Seven let out a low whistle. That was not normal. He'd always known that Fai was special, but seeing her showcase her talents was a little creepy. Normal kids should not be able to do that.

As Ves watched Faigle run around the track flawlessly and wrote down a few notes about her ablities. But he had also convinced Omarr to relax in the pool for the rest of the eximanation and he fully knew that Omarr would plan something to get back at here for the hit in the head. Ves was glad that he did head in that drection after he watched for a little bit.
"That was very cool, Faigle. But could we go back to the examination room as we are almost done. Just to take your vitals and a blood sample." he said waiting for the both of them to follow and giveing Faigle some water to drink.

By the time she was finished, Whitehawk was huffing for breath and her wings were sore from all the flapping and counterbalancing. She had the agility needed to complete the course, but she needed to build up her stamina before she'd be able to really use it. As she gulped down the water, she promised herself that she would run more. As long as she practiced, it would get easier, just like fighting, right?
She followed Snaketail back to the examination room, too tired to even keep an eye on Omarr. Seven would look out for her right?

She wouldn't have to worry as Omarr was staying in the pool area to cool off and just bask on his heat rocks.
"The only things that are left are for me to listen to your heart and lungs and take a blood sample." he said motioning for Fagle to sit on the examination table as he got his steascope from a near by table.
