1: Description
Lightning's Kiss is a large, ancient tree that was long ago struck by lightning. It is said that such a tree holds great power as it has survived death brought from the heavens. Outside, branches still grow ever defiant to the threat of death and offer a place for honeysuckle to climb and thrive. The roots are thick and supportive, parting here and there to offer niches to find a temporary shelter, but the main entrance is well marked by careful etchings that resemble lightning in an archway. Within the large, hollowed trunk a rare lichen that glows faintly in the dark lights the "hallways" in a soft greenish glow. These hallways meander in a labyrinth that leads to small hidden treasures here and there both within and without. The most prominent location is a large "living room" area.
He lead her through the roots within the hollow. within, the entrance glowed with an ancient lichen, leading the fluffy cats further. Through what appeared to be a tunnel that sloped downwards further and further still, a golden glow of candles welcomed them. The wood reached deep and due to the subterranian levels, it was warmer than one would expect. Large pillows of rich fabric to comfort the body laid astray within, the floor covered with a large rug that depicted a map of the forest. The centerpiece wa sa natural hollow within the wood that had become a small firepace and over this blaze was a cast iron pot, the rich smell of acorns and chipmunk spicing the air.
Tsunami loves to cook and so almost always there is something permeating the hallways be it a rich, meaty stew or a fruitful drink. The pillows within the main hall are mostly hues of red, gold, and brown...all very warm tones.
In the upper hollows of the trees are the sleeping quarters. Each room reflects the tastes of the residents. Please ask each resident for their information. I will post this as the information comes.
Tsunami: This room is done with blues, golds, and creams. Instead ofa normal bed there are many, many large pillows in an array of fabrics in many different elaborate patterns. Near the large pile are talismans to protect against foul dreams. Within the upper dome of the ceiling golden stars hang from a billow of dark blue silk sprinkled with golden thread to give the appearance of an etheric night sky.
Flitara: Upon opening the door to this room, the scent of plants overwhelms the senses. At first glance one may think that this room was a indoor garden, or a solarium. Deep trowls filled with rich soil line the walls and smaller versions are nailed to the walls midway up and towards the very top. Countless healthy plants bow in towards the room from these trowls, a mix of leafy bushs and flowers that could be found anywhere in the forest seem to have been gathered here in this room for a serene setting. Mirrors are placed at angles all about the room, and directly in the center a small table with a candle sits. Set around the candle is the oddest candle holder one could ever find. Made of small squares of glass and mirror, the candle is apperently more then just a decoration. Within the flickering flme of the candle is refracted, then reflected by the inner mirrors to strike the other mirrors in the room, lighting it up as brightly as noonday. The fact that this is no solarium is apperant by the other odds and ends in the room. A collection of silken pillows with verying cool hues of blue, purple, and green, are piled together in one corner under the curling fronds of a fern. Small round toys with bells attached are scattered about the floor, and books of fairy tales are not so neatly stacked by the pillowy bed.
2: Rules
Please respect the rules of this guild as wel las the rules of the Forest Greenkay as this is a part of the larger whole.
Do not enter within Lightning's Kiss without asking permission or without an IC reason. Simply stumbling upon this place will not be a legitimate statement unless you can give one very good story.
Do not attack this place unless you have come to me with a good story. I do reserve the rigt to tell you no. If you insist on continuing, I shall report you to the Guild Admins.
Show respect the fellow house members. Tsunami does reserve the right to kick your furry rear into the snow. Let it be known though...this is not a dictatorship. I have simply been a chat admin enough times to where I know what I will and will not tolerate.
Most of all...HAVE FUN! This is roleplaying people. In other words, grown up Make Believe. It is meant to be all sorts of enjoyable.

*Sun brightened by te white snow filtered into Lightning's Kiss, waking the peaceful slumber of Tsunami. He growled for a moment, folding his wings to block the brightness from his eyes then finally gave in, yawning as he stretched and rose. It felt quite early, but he knew that with the slant of the rays, it was time. He stepped out to the ledge and looked down to the main hall, sighing as he lept into the ar. He allowed himself to freefall for a while before snapping his wings open to the day and winged down, landing with a feline grace as he again began to stretch. Today was a new day.*

*Sleep still clinging to him as a persistant parasite he padded into a makeshift kitchen, nosing in the cabinets. There he found a large iron kettle that he could put to good use. He set it aside and nodded, walking now to what appeared to be an oaken box. After pushing wth a great deal of effort he slid the door open and gingerly removed several eggs, his sharp teeth carefully puncturing the creamy brown shell. He held it over the bowl and watched the white and yellow ooze out and pool at the bottom. Carefully he repeated this with each egg and then rummaged once more in the cold wooen box, removing spring vegetables and forest mushrooms, tossing them within as well after preparing them for the makeshift omelett-to-be. With effort, he pulled on a large leather chord and sealed the box then walked to a cabinet of modified untencils. He leaned up as far as he could, spoon soon clutched in his teeth, then returned tot he pot and began to stir, appearing not unlike some sort of potion brewing witch. Afte the blend had ben finished, he gripped the pot within his paws and took to the air as much as he could with the weight and flew into the main hall. The final victory was setting this over the fire. He collapsed for a moment, panting, then returned to stirring the cauldron*

*The day had come bright and early..and Flitara had awoken with the slight peeping of light. Winter time was a time of short daylight hours, and she dared not miss a single second of the lovely sun's presence! She had started off by tending to the many plants in her room. Watering her plants dutifully, then lighting a new candle in the light globe. Then, she was free to do as she wished! Which had meant she plopped back down and spent the first mornings rays reading a beautiful tale about a princess that was turned into a swan. She hadn't yet finished the story, but she was already sighing over the poor princesses predictment. Oh! To e hunted so by the ugly evil wizard! Trying to force her to marry him when her heart was elsewhere! She had actually shed a tear of joy when the prince stumbled upon the lake! She didn't know what was to happen next, but she had set the book aside to do her exersizes...*
*With a jingly jangle sound, she pranced happily towards the scent of cooking food. In her mouth she held a lavender ribbon that was attached to a jingly ball. She had so enjoyed batting the balls around her room! With a light skiping step, she poked her head into the kitchen area to find Tsunami*

As she flitted towards the kitchen, Tsunami watched her, smirking as her nose decieved her. Indeed he had started in the kitchen however the main hall was where he always cooked. He stretched his forearms and returned to stirring, speaking with his feline teeth biting into the wood*
Good morning, Flitara. Did you sleep well? I heard you moving around quite a bit. Did you settle in?
*It was nice to not cook for only himself and to have such a whimsical soul sharing his homestead. Somehow it brought a comfort...a warmth*

*She was new here, so she did not know the routine of her new found friend. Gifing her head a shake, and causeing the ball to jingle violently, she tossed it up into the air, her violet eyes watching it arch as she replied*
Oh yes! I'm all settled in wonderfully! Thank you for giving me the room, and the pillows were lovely and soft! I've even started reading a bit!
*As the ball came down, jangling as it bounced on the floor, she pounced at it, her paws wrapping around it as she playfully toyed with the ribbon*
Did you sleep well? I didn't hear you at all this morning! You missed a beautiful sunrise!

Lord Changeling *She was new here, so she did not know the routine of her new found friend. I didn't hear you at all this morning! You missed a beautiful sunrise! *He watched the high spirited cat, absently marveling at her carefree nature. was he ever like this even when he was a kitten? It boggled his mind and made him almost wish for the days where he knew no danger and delighted in every butterfly* Reading, hm? What sort of books do you read? I am currently working on a composition written by one who ws prolific in ancient days. *at the mention of sunrise, his ears flicke dback ever so slightly. Sunrise? It was far too early!* I am certain it was beautiful. *He muttered the words as he filled two dishes, setting one close to her as he laid down and started to eat*

*Flitara did not, in the least, understand what it was Tsunami was reading...though she wagered that it was probably a very serious book*
It's called The Swan Princess! Have you ever read it before? *She asked, yet then continued with hardly giving him a moment to answer* Theres this poor princess that's been stolen away by a evil wizard! He's trying to make her marry him! The poor thing! He's cast a evil evil spell that turns her into a swan every day! I just got to the part where the prince has found her! I can't wait to see how he rescues her!
*She practically gushed with excitement as she let the jangly toy fall forgotten to the floor. A deep chested sigh shook her very wingtips as she let a dreamy glaze fill her eyes*
It's terribly romantic....I wish I had a handsome prince! Tsunasmi, do you think there are -real- princes in the world?
*She paused then, as a bowl was placed before her. The dreamy gaze in her eyes instantly vanished with a sniff of the delscious food*
Oh! Yum! This smells great!
*Eagerly bending her head, she set to eating with great gusto, a deep throated rumbling riseing with her enjoyment of the meal*

Food, however, seemed to be one trick to silencing her when she was talking so quickly. This was something to remember.* I believe there are, yes. Certainly the world is filled with so many things that we hope are or are not there yet they are reality. It is the way of things. We are all the figment of some greater being's dreams or that's what I think. *He looked carefully at his eggs as if fathoming some response would come from them then looked back to the young spirited feycat* So you are hungry? Good. I cooked plenty for us to both fill our bellies well.

*Flitara ate with much gusto. Mowing down the food as she purred and flicked her tail. It really was very good! And she was so very excited for today! She was going to go outside and try to view the winter in a whole new light! One that didn't make her wonder if she would starve, or freeze to death first.*
Mmm...mmmhmm...mummf...good...
*She managed to reply to the query on the food. Forceing herself to lift her head, she quickly licked her lips and forced herself to reply properly*
Yes actually I am very hungry, and this is very very good. Thank you Tsunami!

I was thinking also about how you seemed so chilled last time you ventured out. Perhaps we can come up with something to keep you warmer? *He seemed like a child in all but physicality and within that gentle, somber spirit he new he had to take care of her else she would no doubt fall in to peril. He would certainly not wish her harm but silently, he wondered how much danger he would be placing himself in if he kept the role of guardian. She made him feel older, more responsible...more focused*

*her food vanished in mere moments. Her belly felt wonderfully full and she felt a surge of energy so strong she simply had to flutter her wings! With a rather large smile, and a bright glimmer in her eyes, she reared up upon her back legs, her front paws wavingin the air before her as she gave a rabbit like bounce forwards, then dropped back down into a sitting position*
Something to keep me warm? Like what? I would really appreciate it if you could! Then I could stay outside longer and discover more new things!

Exploring was well and good, but the warmth was deliciously tempting* I am not positive just yet. Maybe some rabbit hides and stiched together? It is a thought. *He watches ehr flit and bound, laughing to himself as he closes his eyes, purring to himself. Yes, he needed a delicate, energized companion* You have never had shelter so stable as this in the winter? You have never explored this season to the fullest? You have much to see indeed then.

*Flitara paused a moment to ponder what it would feel like. Rabbit fur was terribly soft, and she was certain that if Tsunami figured it would keep her warm..well..then it had to! He really did strike her as a very intelligent individual!*
Well then, I suppose we shall have to find some rabbits then shan't we?
*Her smile brightened for some odd reason, and a small light laugh broke free. Spinning once in a complete circle, she let her laugh ring true and clear in the room before she turned to face Tsunami*
Oh quite wrong Tsumani! I have never experienced winter before! This is my first season! I was only just born this spring! This shall be my first time!

*Oh, now it made sense! she was still quite young and now he could see it all the more clearly. It made him feel old, weathered...yet...wiser. He stood, stretching his golden form, stars twinkling with the movement.*
Well then I will have to show you how to survive this season. It really isn't so hard once you know how. I will fetch my cloak for you. It's nice, thick fleece lined wool and will keep you very warm. Maybe something like that would be more suited to you?
*He nuzzled her gently, smiling a the younger cat. She had much to learn else this would also be her last season. She was barely a grown thing....a wisp of an adult with the shadows of a child still cast over her.*
