scream Help! I have already attempted to contact Gaia on this but thaty are taking too long. I have had my Master Account (dracomay) hacked. Who ever has done this has changed my avatar from what it was. If you look at the dream avatar that I created for that account you can see what it was I had. all except the Summon for the Dragon in the background. It looks as if thay have sold everything. When I try to sign in to the account it tells me it has been blocked. Can anyone help me? stressed

Unfortunately, we as users have no power to influence this sort of thing. Sorry. You'll have to just wait for Gaia's powers-that-be to resolve it or, more likely, carry on with your life. It's a digital site, it's not going to kill you to start over. And I know that it may sound harsh, because I've been in that situation before, but asking for item and monetary help is not the way to go. It only makes you sound like a scammer yourself. And the fact that you've had your account for only a little over a week doesn't help your case any.
Sorry. I really do feel for you-- it's no fun losing something, even if it's only pixels. We're all here for you emotionally, really. Though I may not be the most tactful person alive, well, I tend to say what I think and not think what's best to say.

Honestly I am not very sympathetic to people who's accounts have been hacked. If your account has been hacked it is because you have done something stupid.

First of all I did not ask for any monetary help or any help along those lines anyway. Second I was asking for help along the lines of what should I do other than what I have already done. And third I have done nothing wrong. I was spending alot of time on it thats all. I put alot of money into it. How do you think I managed to get all that stuff? I did not use any cheats or anything like that. So for you two to be such cold people about this is really just a ignorant thing to do. Just proves to me what kind of people you two are. See? I can be blunt too. Wankers!

No, but you sure did imply it. Implying a thing is as bad as it is when you say it outright-- and when you go on about how much you lost, you sure as heck sound like you want people to give it back to you.
Also, I neither stated nor implied that you had done wrong, other than sound like a beggar. Which, in my eyes, is a wrong, but that's a matter of opinion and not of morals. You spent a lot of time? The account was in your possession, supposedly, for about a week. That's not a lot of time. Ask people who have been on here three and four years, even nearly five years. That's time. That's commitment.
Cold? No. Brutally honest and open about our own opinions, caring little (or rather, not at all) what you think of us when we do so? Perhaps. Blunt? Certainly.
And, for future reference, what you were just doing's just simply called hostility. You're being overly defensive, cursing, and being overall mean-spirited. Bluntness has nothing to do with a desire to cause anger. It's just being honest and not trying to cover your tracks.
And now onto a lighter subject! I notice you're wearing newbie clothes right now. If you need help with some basic store items (i.e. a total of no more than 1k) I'd be glad to give some to you. Mind, though, that they'd have to be the sort that both genders can wear- I don't have a spare account, and I don't happen to be a guy. Because I know it's not fun to run around looking like you have no earthly idea what you're doing.

Well to set things straight. I will never ask or beg for money or items. If I cannot earn them myself or buy them with Gaia cash then so be it. I am not like a lot of those other "noobs" out there. If it came acrossed as "begging" then I apologze for that was definatley not my intention. I will continue to work towards what I want and will do it without begging or scamming. Like that Golden Gaia thing? Is that for real? It looks tempting but I do not want to use it. Too much like cheating. I understand that people have been on here for a long time. But considering that I only had my account for a week. I was on from the time I got home from work until I finally crashed and the did the same thing the next day. I averaged 10-15 hours a day on Gaia for just over a week. That was a lot of time to me. But any who. All badness aside, I do appreciate the offer of clothing. However I do have some other things to put on. I was just wearing those temporarily until I could sort out exactly what I wanted. As you can see I have already changed into something else.

All right, just making sure. I remember the first couple of k as being devilishly difficult, because you've little with which to make more money. Unless, of course, you don't use the Marketplace to earn money as I do. I'm not all that great, and I prefer waiting for items to inflate than spending hours on end looking for that perfect buy, but it works for me.

You apparently do not understand how accounts are hacked. There are not 'Hackers' out there spending the time to 'Hack' into your account. The ways that people are 'Hacking' into others accounts are actually getting the passwords from the people they 'Hack' in the first place. There are a lot of different ways people will try to trick you into giving them your password, but if you understand the very simplest basics of the internet that any five year old child should know, then you should have no problem avoiding these tricks. No one actually hacks gaian accounts cause that would be a huge waste of time, and there are plenty of people on gaia that can easily be tricked. Edit: well...saying a five year old should know might be a little extreme...make that ten year old i guess. but seriously? 10-15 hours a day? spend 10 hours at a job or doing crap jobs for people and you could make enough money to buy huge amounts of gaia cash then buy whatever the hell you want, and you can stop wasting your time in such a stupid way.

Now see, I was letting the anger and such go and then you sir had to go and say something that would be considered rude. I do work. And while its may not be a glamourus job, it is a job and it does pay the bills and allow for me to have a bit of spending cash. Besides, spending time cruising Gaia and looking into all the forums and getting aquainted with various aspects of the Gaia world is not a waste of time. While I may not know everything there is to know about Gaia. I do enjoy just poking in here and there to see what going on. Now, that all set aside lets try to be nice to each other as there are already too many assholes in the real world already. We don't need any more here.

Let me repeat. Spending 10-15 hours on Gaia every day is a HUGE ******** WASTE OF TIME. I don't care what you do or do not know about Gaia, or what you do when you are not on Gaia, there is just no excuse for spending that much time on here in one day let alone doing it for two weeks.

Well to set things straight I was done asking for help. In fact, I was attempting to move on. But that all aside I can see that apparently things have gotten off on the wrong foot. No one is to blame. So lets start over. Shall we? Hi! I'm new to the Guild. Was wondering what kind of contests and such happen here. Are there any discussion worth paying close attention to?

Some help on my thread about the '08 candidates would be appreciated... it's a big job, with that many of 'em, even discounting the third-party candidates and independents.

lol...cause if you use the words 'start over' people's opinions of you will actually change right? but really it's not that i dislike you. My feelings for you are really what i would call neutral...you will probably never get worse with me than neutral cause i don't really care if you are a dumbass. that means you can only go up. or rather you have the option to stay where you are or go up.
