I was just ordering a piece of art today and I thought of something interesting. What's the most you've ever paid for a piece of art? Is there a price you would consider too much?

I've only ordered art once. I think I payed like 750 gold for it, it was from Hirun :0

The limit that I would spend would be 1 million gold. I don't have that much, but if I did I would consider buying some really awesome art >.>

But over that, wtf no.

Most I would ever pay was 10k. .3. More than that is riddiculus.

(Depending on the art)

I would NEVER pay anything over 100k. -3-;;

Considering the fact that 90% of the time, toastie is broke... she's never paid over 1.5k for art...

anything over 5k is too much in my opinion unless it's amazing.. then the toastie scrooge might go up to 10k.

heart I still have it lying somewhere. It was a very interesting avatar at the time.

I've pretty much given up on buying avatar art because I change the look completely too many times. ._. I used to have black boyish, then white bedhead, now black bedhead which started around October.

I figure if the art won't look like me for long, I'd rather just draw it myself.

A lot of my friends have given me art worth 10-100k for free. ^^;;
But that's just because I was lucky to have met them.<3
I haven't bought myself too many art pieces, though...
...but I am starting an art contest with prizes over a million gold overall.<3
