How many people play trombone or baritone or both?
Well, I have played trombone for close to eight years, and baritone for marching band for three. Our instruments never get credit for what we do. we are the best instruments are the best.
In my band, i was always the only girl trombone player

the best peice i ever played was my senior year's christmas concert, we played a piece called africa, it was so cool. It is the only time in my music career that my band had ever gotten a standing ovation

the worst peice i ever played was in the Ben Davis marching band (Indianapolis) and it was about colors. I hated that season

I played trombone for 4 years and I played for baritone for 2 years going on 3. I love both instruments to death. One song that I hated playing was one we played for concert band called "Circus Bee" I hated that darn song. It did nothing but get on my nerves. It was fast. My fingers could barely keep up with the tempo.

I play euphonium, proper name for baritone but you probably already knew that I just wanted to say it, the most boring peice we played was Louie Louie, I hated it. I love fast songs though, my fingers are fine I just need to learn to tongue faster better.

I've played trombone for 4 years and I know the notes for baritones, but I've never played it in band, except for this one time where everyone switched instruments when there was a sub, that was pretty sweet! xd I remember playing Louie Louie when I revisited my old jazz band, it was pretty fun except for it being too easy and the trumpets had the melody. The trumpets always always have the melody! We need to have more songs and parts that have the melody! The low brass sections is pretty much the most important part of a band, right? The song writers need to make songs where we have the melody, not stupid trumpet players!

Played trombone for 5 years going on to 6 won't switch to anything else its fun to play jazz worst song ever and most annoying the hey song gonk

I play trombone, but would love to learn baritone and euphonium. My friend is a baritone player learning trombone.

Tiny, tiny correction. Euphonium has a conical bore, which means the tubing gets wider in diameter as you get closer to the bell. For baritone, it stays just about even the whole way through like a trombone so it has a brighter quality. So it progresses as:
Bright - Trombone
Medium Bright - Baritone
Dark - Euphonium
I don't know why I did that. Mostly bordom. ninja
Back to the topic. I've played trombone 7 years and I was forced to play baritone for marching for 4 years. Honestly dislike valves now... a slide never gets stuck because you can always use brute force to get it moving.
Valves just don't cooperate... stressed

hi i play trombone...i playe for 4months at school and were going to a music fest. and were are planning to play harry potter p.o askaban theme or halo1 theme there (perform)

I've been playing trombone for 3 years and i LOVE it! i think valves are overrated so i would never play baritone. smile
Yeah, the Hey song is the most annoying song ever b/c my band didn't have a copy in bass clef (<- spelling?). We all had to struggle w/ treble...

I played trombone for almost 3 years now and the worst song we played is uhhhhh idk how to say it like Kilauea idk something named after a volcano or something it just got on my nerves it was fast and i couldn't keep up i hit my mouth with the mouthpeice so hard one time it hurt for about a week evil

This is my seventh year on the Trombone. My favorite is MARS, movement number one from "The Planets", by Gustav Holst. If you have never heard of it, it is nothing but ONE OF THE BEST PIECES OF MUSIC EVER! Look it up!!! I refuse to name the worst. It's so awful, your ears
will bleed, fall off, and/or explode...
