I don't what it is, but tonight, when I went out for a walk, I noticed that there was a full moon. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, or not, but for the entire time I've been up today, I have felt dead, and lonely, and vulnerable, and I don't know what's wrong with me. I want to say it's the moon, but full moons have happened before, and I don't know how to tell what's going on with me. I even got up late today, but noone I wanted to talk to was on. I don't know if maybe I just needed a good rant, or something, but this is really throwing me for a loop, and I don't know what to do to make it go away, and I tried to meditate, but it only made me more irritable. I don't know what to do, and it feels like I'm going out of my mind. Maybe I am too full....Don't ask of what, because i don't know, but I feel like I'm running around in circles at top speed, in a race that I can never win. I feel jittery and confused. Anyone who's willing to offer advice, I'm more than willing to listen.

Oh, dear. That has happened to me before. I was in a car on the way to Portland, and I started feeling exactly like that. Then I fell asleep for a while, and when I woke up, I witnessed a horrible car crash. I was mortified, but after the jitters from that went away, I was fine. I hope the same isn't true of you. Perhaps you should just wait out the day, and try to do something that doesn't irritate you too much. Distract yourself by doing something mindless like watching tv, and then just try to sleep it off.

For me, I'm not sure how valid this can be because what happens changes everytime, but around the full moon I tend to have something odd happen to my personality, but it changes. One night I was on a total energy high and I laughed for like an hour and a half without stopping...my brother almost killed me for that one. sweatdrop The last full moon (not the one that was on what, the 19th? The one before that) I got depressed randomly around midnight and really wished I had someone there to comfort me, which is really wierd for me. It changes a lot, but I always seem to act really wierd on full moons, most of the time it's just a mass of extra energy, but this time it was the reverse, total lack of energy, but that could have been due to high school. I think the phases of the moon can have wierd affects on anyone. *Shrugs*

That's strange. See, whenever the full moon comes around, I'm generally in a very good mood. Very happy and really just content and calm. The last time there was a full moon I just stood out in my yard staring at it, swaying back and forth a bit, like I was entranced. I think the moon does strange things to people. razz I was born on a day of a full moon though. :S

It has been scientifically proven that the moon phases have an effect on humanity...Of course, the study in question only discovered that murders peaked during the full moon and fell during the new moon. Then again, we are humans, so it makes sense that they'd study the most macabre thing....One would infer at first that the moon is playing with the liquids in the body--After all, it makes the water on earth move, so why wouldn't it play with the water in us? Of course, how that could cause any type of imbalance is beyond me...
Then again, I am only 14...And most of the anatomy-ish lessons I've taken so far I kinda slept through...

Now, now, I believe she was on to something I was about to say.
Yes, the moon does effect all liquids in the world with its gravity. It controls the tides and even raises the chemicals in our brain to high activity (i believe) hence why so many people tend to have mood swings or a greater form of one emotion.
in paganism, the full moon represents empowerment, i believe. i am not too sure, but i do know that it is the representation of the goddess and understand it to be an enlightening and inspiring experience to be in the presence of it. i feel, as long as you try to put yourself in the right mentality and spirituality, the full moon can multiply it ten fold. If you're a moody person, you may end up having mood swings. However if you focus on a certain emotion or feeling, I believe the full moon will help magnify it. At least that's how I see it when combining religion and science ^_^
Personally, I always try to keep a serene state of mind unaffected by outside forces and simply act as the air. To keep this mentality up, I meditate before I get up out of bed, during exercises, during nice days, and sometimes before I sleep. I feel this helps me keep focus of my thoughts and emotions so that I won't be subject to a horrible night just because its a full moon, but instead, use it to my advantage. If I find an obstacle, I feel I should turn it into some kind of advantage for me and this is no different.
The full moon is not evil, PEOPLE JUST HAPPEN TO BE AND IT SHOWS ME DURING IT! XD

XD *thinks about that* that must be it, then. i am an EXTREMELY moody person, and i guess the full moon amplifies this. the first night of the full moon, when i'm awake, i tend to feel distinctly lonely, at least for a little while, then i get jittery and irritable during the day, and i guess that it...thanks, dude.
