Maybe it was a mistake to go back without Ryo and Natu, they would've loved it. But an hour's drive was a pretty long drive for this little feather. I'm glad I got him, and his name is Takato. Though he never moves, I can hear him humming at times, at least, I think I do. If I ask Ryo or Natu, they can't hear a thing. But it's pretty early, and if I don't get started on breakfast, I'll be late and Ryo and Natu will have to eat cereal.

Vicus'ab Lacus...is very beautiful. No wonder Takato wanted back here. I wonder if he wanted to come back for some other reason though....he's been humming a lot more ever since we came here, and I've think he wanted one last look before leaving again.

Geez...when they say that time flies when you're having fun, they mean it. We, I mean Apathy and I have been working hard to clear rubble from one of the buildings. While doing so, I discovered a stone feather inside, and I think it was, at once, a real Hououza. Now it is petrified, so I hope I can find a way to revive it. Apathetic is a good person, owning a feather similar to Takato. I do not remember seeing him any time, but I wonder how he came by Proteus, his Hououza. Anyway, with more rubble to move, and seeing how Ryo spends his time by the lake, fishing for food tonight, I say it's a fair tradeoff. Natu is too weak to try to lift some of the bigger ones, but he helps in any way possible.

We should be going soon, but I have made a promise to help, and must therefore keep it. Anyway, Takato has been humming a lot ever since I put him near the Stone Feather. I must wait for the full moon, then set the feather out into the silver moonlight, as I have been doing. Maybe this will be the key into breaking the feather's history.

It's been getting really close to the full moon. Takato has actually been gliding around, without the help of wind, so he must be taking energy from the moon. The stone feather hasn't been as active. But it's actually been glowing whenever I put it near a window.

Wow...I can't believe it. Two months ago, I recieved the little feather, but wasn't around to keep it in the moonlight on the night of the full moon, but here I am, two months later, with Takato sitting on a pillow next to Proteus and Aela, Apathy's two Hououzas. I'm too excited to write a lot, and I really want to see and learn what Takato will be like. Will he get along with Ryo and Natu alright? Or better yet, will they get along with him? Only time can tell.

Takato has evolved! And according to Helina, the researcher who found him, he seems to have the ability to purify things, which will grow into healing. It seems though, that I am making friends wherever I go. It's wierd, but I like it. The more friends the better.
I will begin training Takato soon, as well as teaching him how to read, write, do math, spell, and everything else he needs to know to survive.

Wow..I never knew that my father had it in him. He...he put us in a strange place called the white void. I don't exactly know how we got here, but we came here now. And it's pretty scary. He says that he's been here before, and escaped, but barely, nearly killing himself in the process. I'm scared, and I hope I get out alive.
He also found a yellow feather with what seems to be faces on it, with horns on the faces' heads. He called it "Shona", but I don't know why he wants it.

No...Father let the mean girl stay with us. But she seems to be nicer ever since Natu hit her with his chalkboard. Natu did a good thing then. She seemed to be making Father and a Cat person like him angry. But her cat creature, and one of her feathers scare me. One is the feather of Death himself...and he's creepy. But Father could protect me, along with Natu and Ryo...if he wasn't such a jerk.

Ryo and Natu have taken me to a park in some town called "Arkage." I don't mind, I do need my exercise (That little yard at home is so small), but I think the real reason we're here is so Ryo and Natu can see their old friends...I don't know who these people are, but a yellow-haired Hououza, about Ryo's age, is walking up to me with a Green and blue-haired Hououza as I write, so yes, I must go.

After spending some time around Arkage, Riddle came and picked Natu and I up, but left Ryo there. I wonder why? Though he did come back later and pick us up. I met Ryo's friends, a strange pair, but not long enough to get to know them. Ryo did come back the day before Riddle's birthday, and he was happy, until he got some call about zombies and vampire hunters. When he came home, he was pretty tired, and I wondered why. He kept on talking to Natu and Ryo about "Grunnies" whatever those are, and how zombies are running around, and he'd traced a few here from this place called "Isle de Gambino." Then came Halloween, and Riddle got some time off to take Natu and I trick-or-treating, where we dressed up and went to houses getting candy. The other Hououza, Liberty, disappeared for a while, but came back, for some odd reason.
