Okay...here are the instructions...
post your tanaga in Filipino...
Mga Tanaga AKA Filipino Haikus.
4 lines; 7 syllables each line
words ending in b,k,d,g,p,s and t rhyme as long as the vowel before the last letter of the words are the same.
i.e.
"basag" rhymes with "banat"
but not with "bunot"
words ending in l,m,n,ng,w,r,y, rhyme as long as the vowel before the last letter of the words are the same.
i.e.
"laman" rhymes with "aray"
but not with "ulol"
Okay?...okay...
((Yes. The Filipino Way of making things rhyme is somewhat weird))

2 examples ((I made these for some things in our Buwan ng Wika))
WIKANG PILIPINO
Wika'y isang kundiman
O kay sarap pakinggan!
Kayang-kayang aliwin
Ang kaluluwa natin
((yes. that wasn't very good))
WALANG HANGGANG KARIKTAN
Ang mayang lumilipad
Ganda'y di-kumukupas
Hindi siya nasisindak
Ng ilan mang pagbagsak
((4 lines, seven syllables each line. mrgreen ))

haiku-it's a 3 lined poem that has 5 syllables at the first and the last line and 7 syllebles at the middle line....
