If I were going to post any original poetry of mine I would probably do it in the thread stickyed for that purpose. I consider myself an expressive, amateur poet and I have a lot of respect for my creations. A lot of the time I am kind of nervous about putting it on display for fear that someone will steal it. ninja
I do have two poems in my most recent journal entry, though (the one for Aug. 16, 2005), if anyone is interested.

Remote Control I post all my poems in a Fictionpress account. I don't update all that often and most of my new stuff kind of sucks. gonk I read one of your poems whose title appealed to me on the site you gave. It was called "Writing the poem". I enjoyed it, and I must say it reminds me of my first and only love poem that I wrote in the form of a paradelle and gave to the first guy I'd falled in love with. I just wanted to say I don't think I'll ever feel the way about that poem that you seem to feel about your love poems. 3nodding Good though, keep writing to express yourself.

Plz post your poems in the art and poety sticky, like the allmighty Mouse said.
I was nervious about posting my poetry in the GHM back in the days that it was just a lonely thread in the chatterbox, but maybe make a deviant art account and post it in there and then post it here, that way if they steal it its already under your name and you can legaly pwn them. 3nodding

Right there is a site made especially for amateur artists who would like to share their forms of self-expression without them being stolen. I think my best friend is a Deviant, so I'll consider. Especially since I joined this poetry contest thing on Gaia and I think it was a scam. xp
