The park was cold. Chath was wearing a very thin shirt as if defying the fact it was winter. He could see his breath, his eyes were half closed from being tired, but he didn't seem to care. The black walked a bit ahead of him basically leading the pair, though where even Chath wasn't sure. The bright skinned boy had a hand in his pants pocket. At least he was wearing pants, though the sandals probably didn't help with the fact it was cold out.
Why was he out again? Right...to train..at least that was what he thought was the reason. He seriously couldn't remember anymore. SO tired of...failing he was about ready to give up on training all together. Though it was more failing at magic that was bothering him and the fact he had to relearn everything to be right handed. It was very maddening at times when eating became a chore. Never mind trying to get dressed in the morning.
Stopping he paused to kick at some dirt, ignoring the look he got from his dragon who only paused to see why the boy had stopped. Forcing down the urge to shiver and failing the newt regretting being so pig headed and not heeding his mothers words about bringing a jacket. He brushed off her wise advice stating with a laugh he was only going to be out a short while, though that short while had turned into a hours long walk that took him to the park.

They had been out and about since leaving the house before the sun had fully risen and still Ligeia wasn't quite ready to head home. He wasn't feeling up to talking to his father or brother, not up to telling them why he'd vanished without so much as a word or a note. He looked down at Vorel before leaning forward against his neck and nuzzled against the soft mane that the Frost possessed. Aside from it the rest of him was smooth like glass, all but his fluffy mane, "Mmmm... thank you for coming with me." He said.
Vorel gave a shrug as he flew, "Always." He said in his simple manner, a bit of a smile on his lips. Nobody would ever understand the intense loyalty he felt for his boy. Ligeia did a lot for him and thusly he would do as much as he could for his boy.
Ligeia opened his eyes and looked down at the ground below, they were flying in an aimless fashion where ever the air currents took them. He'd been unable to really think of anywhere to go specifically so Vorel had taken charge and just flew. His eyes widened a bit and he sat up, "Wha...?" Was that? Surely not but... the coloring did look like Chath's coloring and Keir was unmistakable as well, "I think I saw Chath and Keir below us."
Vorel circled back around to fly back over where they had just been. His boy sounded rather sure of the idea and while Vorel was a bit edgy about facing the Black dragon he would bring them to the other pair if was what Ligeia wanted, "It is them... Do we land?" He asked of his boy looking over at him.
The owl seemed to be thinking on it for a moment before giving him a nod, "Yes... I want to see how they are doing, I haven't seen Chath since I visited him in the hospital." He'd meant to try to contact him again but to much had happened and had distracted him from that.
Vorel gave a nod before he set to flying in lazy circles to take the two of them down to the ground. It wasn't a meeting that could be put off forever he realized, might as well make it sooner then later.

It was Keir who tensed up first, lowering himself to the ground his head turned up to look at the sky. He had sensed the other dragon only cause he caught sight of the shadow they cast while flying. It took the black a moment to recognize the pair, finally not being quite so aggressive he stood back up straightening his body out and waited for them to land.
Chath only paused because his dragon had stopped and was staring at something in the sky. He felt a sinking sensation, his head turning sharply to look at what his dragon had spotted. It was...an immense relief to see it was Vorel and Ligeia and not some huge black dragon coming to get their revenge. And yet the same time he wasn't sure if he was up to a conversation with the owl boy. It had been a while since he saw him last and he currently wasn't in the best of moods.
But he forced a smile on his face anyway. He didn't want Ligeia thinking he was mad at him.

Vorel landed and then trotted over towards the pair pausing when there was a dragon's length between them and allowed Ligeia to slid down off of his back. The owl was careful in doing so and made no use to jump off of him as he used to do. When his bare feet touched the ground he turned to look over at Chath and gave him a small wave.
He'd been in a bit of a hurry when he'd left that morning, was minus shoes and was wearing a modified tank top and a pair of short shorts. He was glad that the cold had little affect on him like it did normal people or he might be in a bit of trouble given the weather. He walked towards the newt boy and then paused when near to him, "Hey, its been a while." He greeted him, unsure what else to say.
While he'd not been planning on talking with anyone really but one couldn't really pass by the one that they were dating and not stop. He didn't want to hurt Chath's feeling.
The Frost dragon looked over at Keir for only a short moment before he turned his head and pretended to find interest in some random birds that were pecking at the cold ground for anything interesting.

Keir gave the frost dragon a very non-chalant look, before he moved closer to him. Keir was...a small dragon, and standing beside Vorel who was older it made him look smaller. But the black didn't seem to care as he straightened his body and stood proudly.
Teach me to fly. he basically ordered the dragon, mostly cause out of any of teh dragons he met, only Vorel he felt like he could trust not to spread word of his avid failure at flight.
Chath looked at Ligeia a bit of surprised spreading on his face, he was dressed in a hurried fashion which was really odd for the boy. It caused him to be a bit worried, though he smiled just the same offering a wave in return.
"It has," Chath replied, the pause starting already into an awkward silence. So were they still...dating? It felt so weird. "Is everything ok? You look...um..like you were going somewhere in a rush." he commented finally trying to move past the silence.

Vorel looked over at Keir a bit surprised then lowered his head down closer to the Black Dragon's level before hesitantly asking, "You... are not mad at me?" He sounded a bit surprised and there was also hope in his voice. Keir wouldn't come to him for something like flying lessons if he were mad. Right? While the tone that the black used was rather demanding it didn't hold anger.
Ligeia gave a nod of his head, looking down at his hands which were also bare, "In a hurry yes but... not exactly going anywhere." He said, unsure of how to explain since he would have to admit he was running from his dreams.
He shook his head as if to shake it off then gave him a smile, "Its... Its nothing to worry about. How about you? How have you been?" He wanted to talk to him about it as Chath might know what he was feeling given everything but he felt himself hesitating.

If a dragon had eyebrows keir would of given a rise to them. Mad? Why was he mad? He was mad at himself, he should of doe a better job, he hadn't been strong enough, it was his problem after all. The black shook his head trying very hard to be patient. As of late he didn't have much of it to spare.
Why would I be mad at you? It would be a waste of energy. Now teach me to fly. He continued with a flap of his wings.
Chath, couldn't help but worry at the mention of worrying. What was Geia hiding that he could talk to him about? His eyes darted to the teens hands noticing that they weren't gloved. An improvement? His smile grew lopsided and he took a step towards the owl.
"you don't...'sound' fine. Come on you know you can talk to me right?" he said with a nod of his head, offering his only hand to his boyfriend to take hold of.
"And me? I am doing just fine." He lied. he didn't need Geia worrying over his slight...bump in the road.

Vorel brightened up considerably at Keir's words, his tail swishing behind him, "Really? Had thought..." He then gave a shake of his head and smiled a large, toothy smile deciding that what he'd thought wasn't important now, "Will try to help." Vorel liked Keir even despite the dragon's faults. He was a nice dragon in his mind because Keir didn't treat him badly even though Vorel knew he wasn't a smart dragon.
He rose to his feet, "Come on!" He said, then turned and started to run sure that Keir would follow if he wanted to learn.
Ligeia looked down at Chath's hand and looked for a moment hesitant, he'd not done his nails for a while and he was with his gloves but... he took the newt's hand carefully, "Sure, wanna go sit down?" He asked, motioning to where there was a bench.

Keir didn't really care what the Frost had thought, all he wanted was a chance to fly. His passion to find mother black becoming almost an obsession. When he was bigger he would challenge and defeat her, no not just defeat kill her. Looking at the bigger frost he nodded his head and watched as Vorel ran away from their kids. Giving almost a dragonic sigh he followed after, though he trotted instead of ran. He guessed they needed more space to fly.
Chath always felt that thrill when Geia's hand clasped his. Tough this time it was like holding his hand for the first time. It was so different from when he wore gloves. A nice sort of different, and though his skin was sensitive he knew he could tolerate the pain if just to hold his hand longer.
He led them to the bench and allowed the owl to sit down first, before he joined him. And though worried he still wore his happy smile on his face. He was...somewhat happy. Happy to see Ligeia despite the time they had been apart. And his mind was full of doubts, were they still dating? Was Ligeia upset cause he hadn't really made an effort to call? Or keep in contact?
His smile wavered as these kinds of thoughts poisoned his mind. He had been selfish as of late, and had almost forgotten to even get Geia a gift for Christmas. His heart sank, now that he was with Geia the gift was sitting at home..still unwrapped. What was wrong with him? He cared for the owl right?
"So ...tell me, your not cold are you?" The newt asked in a worried fashion if anything to try and not think about the things that were bothering him. Now they he wasn't moving he could feel the cold seeping into his skin, unlike the owl who was naturally built to withstand the cold, being an amphibian the cold effected him quickly. He was stupid in not wearing winter clothes, stupir and stubborn.

Vorel looked over his shoulder at the Black to make sure he was following before turning to follow a path that led them to an open field with all sorts of strange markings on it. Ligeia told him once that it was for humans to play games on but since it was open it would serve their purpose, "First start up here." He said, motioning with his head to a hill that rose next to the field, a place for people to sit when watching the game, "Jump off and glide."
He demonstrated, it was the very basic step when it came to flying, being able to use the wind currents to ones advantage.
Ligeia sat down on the bench and gave a flap of the wing he'd no broken. He'd gotten so used to not being able to move the second one that he didn't even think about trying, "Cold? Naw, doesn't really bother me." He said, then looked down at his current mode of dress and gave a little laugh, "Good thing, huh?"
The owl looked over at his friend and didn't want to let go of his hand, it felt... strange between them and he didn't know why. Something just felt kind of off... he looked over at Chath then down at their joined hands. Was it the time that had passed? What they had both been through and were still going through? He wasn't sure but he couldn't find the courage to ask so instead he just held onto him instead.

The black watched standing alert as he didn't like the idea of others being able to watch him attempt to fly. his broken wing had healed but still felt stiff and sore, despite the obvious effort to work it out.
Blinking slowly Keir watched as the frost demonstrated how to glide. It looked simple enough. He tried to imitate the other dragon and found it strange when he finally caught an air current and did in fact glide. It...was glorious. Though he faltered in the air after a moment, his sore wing giving out and he went tumbling to the ground.
Chath felt his eye lids getting heavy. the cold was getting to him, he felt his whole body growing sluggish even as he tried to shrug it off. Unconsciously moving closer to the owl for warmth.
He chuckled at the owls words, yah he supposed the cold wouldn't bother him. Not with all those feathers and down on him. THey made such an odd pair... "Yah, wish i could grow some feathers. I was being a bit pig-headed when i left the house. should of brought a jacket." he said casually, his care free tone starting to emerge once again. Get him on a topic and he could melt away the strange distance he felt between them.
"But really are you sure your ok? I mean...I am happy to see your not wearing gloves." He continued looking down at the owls hands looking proud.

Vorel landed and trotted over to Keir, looking him over before he sat down and gave him a smile, "Not bad for first try." The Frost complimented him, giving him a nudge to urge him back to his feet, "Try again."
Ligeia looked over at Chath before he scooted closer and wrapped his wing around the newt as if to help shield him from the cold, "Are you alright Chath?" He asked, he was looking a bit tired... maybe he was like Ter was? With the way that the cold affected him, made him sleepy. On top of that he wasn't dressed for the cold weather in the way someone should be if vulnerable to the cold.
"Do you want to go some place warmer?" It wasn't to far from various places that they could go to get out of the cold from the park.
Ligeia found himself looking down at his hands before giving a little shrug, "I... kinda forgot them but... maybe its good to go around without them from time to time. Just have to be careful."

Keir only growled as he got back onto his feet, and despite the encouragement sulked back to the top of the hill they had been on. He would get this, even if it killed him. Though how gliding could kill him he wasn't sure. He hated that stupid phrase now that he thought on it, fluffing up his wings and his rather dented pride he attempted again.
Though...the same result ended at about the same point. The young dragon snarled in frustration.
Chath rolled his head over to look at Geia and ended up leaning against the boy instead. With the wing wrapped around him it wasn't so bad. "yah, told you I am fine. I survived having an arm bitten off, pretty sure I can deal with a bit of cold weather." he joked, though it sounded a bit strained.
If Geia took careful note, he would notice the newt looked a lot more muscular since his time in the hospital. He had lost a lot of muscle then, but now it seemed like he had not only regained it but toned himself further.
"You don't have to worry about me all the time. I can take care ..of myself." He continued though he felt a twinge of bitterness in his mouth at the words. Right. He dd a great job taking care of himself didn't he?

Vorel gave a bit of a smile, he remembered the frustration of just learning flying. He'd had Ligeia with him though learning at his side. They had learned and crashed together, it must be harder to learn when your partner didn't try to fly at your side. Maybe that was why Baroness couldn't fly yet? Because Ter didn't fly? It made sense to him.
"Don't fight the currents." He said, guessing that could be the problem. Keir would have to relax and give control over to the air currents and that didn't exactly seem like the Black's style.
Ligeia gave a little wince then nodded as he looked down at his hands, "I'm sorry." He murmured, realizing that he was doing it again. He was coddling Chath and treating him more like one of the children he babysat then someone he was dating or even someone Chath's age should be treated, "Your right, you don't need me taking care of you."

Keir growled as he pulled himself back off the ground, it was going to be painful learning how to do this...but he wasn't about to give up. Not a chance. He dipped his head showing he heard and understood the Frosts instructions.
Don't fight it. And yet everything in his core wanted to fight against anything he came against. Going with the 'flow' as it were wasn't something he could do easily. But it was needed of him now. Thus he had no choice but to try .
Chath felt as if he had something he shouldn't of. He hadn't meant it in that way, just that...he was okay and that Geia didn't have to worry about him. Releasing the owls hand he wrapped and arm awkwardly around the owl boy. They were about the same in height, though Chath had more muscle mass then Ligeia. He could probably pick the owl up easily if he had two arms.
Pulling him closer he paused a moment before giving him a quick kiss on the side of his forehead.
"Don't be silly, I still ...uh need you." He started the words sounding awkward and if his sister was around she probably would of burst out laughing and have added her own comments to what she read as underlying intent.
