 Well i usually watch Bleach at abt 12:00 on CN. But one day they stopped showing Bleach and started showing Death Note. From then on I became a Death Note fan!!!!!! biggrin biggrin

Mm...in over a period of maybe around 2 years??? I first came across a fanlisting for the Death Note manga. Oooh, which was quite mysterious a gem! Then afterwards, I found a site for the "then" first brand-new live-action movie updates and more so some info on an anime being made. And not until very recent I referred all of which I had heard to my friend who went and checked the series out. And almost instantaneously he had made discs of all the episodes and gave em to me...well after he and everybody else got dibs on watching it first. Bah >.<
Yeah, that's pretty much how it happened.
Heh, one guy who's friends with my friend lol went ahead and watched every episode in about 2 days. Sheesh!

Well, I heard some of my friends talking about it, so I got online and did some reasearch. I saw the first episode, and, to be honest, I wasn't quite into it. Then later, a friend brought a disk to school with the first four episodes, so I rewatched the first one, got intrigued, and moved on to the second, third, forth... and I couldn't stop! So I went home, got online again, and watched the next few episodes ( in english ) then I realized that all of the English episodes had yet to be released, and I got tired of waiting, and a couple of days ago I broke down and watched the rest of the series with subtitles. Totally worth it! But, ha, maybe it was a bad idea to take in that much Death Note in one sitting, I got kinda' depressed at the ending, I mean.. that ending!.... but I won't say anything about it here... and the movies... like woah! Oh, and now I'm reading the Manga... so... yeah ^^

I saw it in a page where I usually get anime. I began watching it with my girlfriend and in a couple of days we had no more chapters to watch, so we had to wait week after week while it was being broadcasted in japan xDD It usually happens to me. The same happened to me with Nana, but at least with that one I have the manga.

How did I get into Death Note? Well, actually it started with the manga. A friend of my said that I should read it and I did (all 12 volumes). I loved it and I couldn't wait for the anime, which when I first seen it, it was in the original form, Japanese, not the English (this was on youtube). I was like, yes, this series is going to be good and I was right, it is good in Japanese. (Go to hell, English!!) I personally like the Japanese because it gives it more authentic meaning behind each character. Most of the English dubbed doesn't make any sense to me, but, back the issue, Death Note is one of many that should continue, after it is done, have it like they do with Inuyasha. I think it has that hype and should continue.

And it looked pretty good.
The first episode I actually watched
Was the last one.
Now I watched it aaall.

How'd you figure you weren't watching the ending???
Oh yeah, the dubbing is kind of extremely difficult...I actually somewhat like L's voice, though. It's grown on me now that I guess it's simply profoundly different and distinct from what I was expecting, aha. whee

How did I get into Death Note?
Well, I was browsing random video sites, watching AMVs and all that-
Anyhoo!
I noticed some flashes and AMVs titled "Death Note AMV" or
"Tribute to L" 'n all that.
So, I watched them and it looked good.
I got into the anime, I've watched all the episodes now, and I'm glad I did.
It's really a great series. <3
I love the fact that it's all about a killer notebok.
Also..
I don't really have a problem wih the dubbing..
I like like some of the english voices. [[Ryuk's && L's]]
