A Quadruple selection of forms in new Rider series. Known as Kiva. Based on the four classic Hollywood movie monsters.
Dracula, Wolfman, Gillman, and Frankenstein. I'm very excited to see this show sometime in February I believe. Anyone else?

Ehh the idea of using old Hollywood monsters as Rider inspiration sounds like a sharkjumper to me but hopefully I'm wrong.

Funny that Kiva/Kiba is reminding me of the premise that Saban did with B-Fighter (Big Bad Beetleborgs)...
I'm REALLY hoping they don't do something that was slapstick comedy in that, for Kamen Rider (even though the look and feel is dark)... sweatdrop

I'm sure they're gonna take a break from Slapstick after Den-O which had a fair amount of it there. Sure there's still gonna be some 'moments' but look at how serious a series Kabuto had and still Kagami Arrata provided some good comic relief.

I have to admit.... I saw bits and pieces of Kabuto (ok, the Hyper Battle Video), then the whole series. I found Kagami to be more entertaining, then Tendou, even though he's suppose to be the main hero. sweatdrop
Aaaand... I watched Kiva RAW and kind of understood what was going on. The whole transition from the past to the present was pretty smooth, surprisingly. It's sad that I find the antics of Kurenai Wataru (our young-looking star of Kiva) REALLY cute, and funny. Almost similar to Ryoutarou, but not by much.
Kivat is amusing too.
Though, the one thing I was excited, was the MOTORCYCLE stunts! THAT is what Kamen Rider is! I really missed those... Plus, Kiva kick was pretty sweet.
What sucked for me... was that the pace seemed a bit slow, and the cliffhanger.
Hopefully, this series lives up to itself, and won't disappoint us.

Tendou you either find to be an amazing character or your just don't like him. I personally thought Tendou was awesome, but then I also liked Kagami as well.
Ryoutaro never really stood out. The actor did a great job with the character though and I already miss the Imajins.
I saw the fight from the first ep of the RAW, and I have to say i'm not impressed but i'm not really turned away. Kabutos first fight wasn't amazing, but it was interesting. Same with Den-Os first fight. The graphics seem off to me somehow, like they were lazy about it or something. I have to say as well, I like his rider kick attack.

Lots and lots of cliffhangers are to be expected... as well as the chance of not having a satisfying ending. Since they got Toshiki Inoue involved in the Kiva series.

The first episode seemed ok to me. Nothing really stood out other than some cool a** kicking from some unhenshined girls and that the fight looks 100% better in better quality than on youtube quality. I just hope it doesn't turn out like your saying GaoGaiGar, but it probably will haha. I also noticed that this feels more and more like den-o. At least how the plot feels to me so far compared to den-os plot. The monster effects alone got me interested in seeing more though, I really like the things they added visually for the monsters in this series. Its one of the best sort of toku monster effects i've seen.

Ya know, me being a girl...I must be bisexual or something, because seeing the Fangire-hunter girls fight was pretty hot. sweatdrop
Episode 2 left me wanting more. Plus, it was the appearance of the other three, rumored 'forms' or Kiva made me get a bit impatient for #3. >_>;
Just watching Wataru trying to make a dye for the violin....why am I having this feeling that it's the obvious, and it might involve someone, or something's, blood???

That was awesome to see females have strong roles in this again. Hana's strongest role was punching an Imajin now and again. So, its good to see two strong female roles. It must also be their backup plan incase one gets sick this year haha.
I have yet to see ep 2, but I can wait. I'm sure the dye he is trying to make is probably related to blood. Possibly the girl hunter from his time. A way of showing they are working together as intended or something.
