My freshman year I completely tripped over my own feet during warm-up block. I fell while marching backwards, for absolutely no reason. To make it worse, one of our instructors was right beside me and saw the whole thing.

my bus driver daughter who went to our school afew years ago
hit everyone she pass with her flag at least twice in the head or stomach..
Rick the color dirctor toke her flaf for a week and gave her plastic noddles to practice with so she would stop hitting people in the head.

im a freshman this year. and actually...the director said specifically that the freshman were better than the upper classmen...
im not going to go into detail cause we had a terrible marching season this year... lol so we had major problems. lets just say that we had a new director, which pissed off the older kids. cause a passed director. so they wanted to terrorize the new one. andd the freshman...were like wtf?? lols

I kept on stopping too early, so I was in the wrong place.
The Teacher kept on making the wholleee band do that over, until I got it right.

uh we were at the grand national chamionship in the RCA dome and i went to the wrong set during movement two. it was bad.

I was a Freshi this year and I had to miss alot of camp first i missed mini band camp cuz I was in Flordia. Then I missed every morning due to soccer camp cuz were allowed doing band and sports. I show up on my first day not even knowing how to march. Also I look like a dork cuz I was like the only girl in a baseball cap. When we started learning the show I didnt know my spots cuz I wasnt there in the mornign and they were allready going pretty fast so the sax instructor dragged me arount to all my spots so I wouldnt get squished and so I would learn them. Sometimes the whold band had to stop practicing cuz of me. redface
and once i stood by a tsax (a guy) player at band after a soccer game and we were in our uniforms and my section leader is like nice matching outfits girls and I was the only girl so I thought it was funny.

during a comp one bari sax fell during a backwards folow the leader at temp 126 or aaround ther he fell and every one behind him aslo triiped and didnt get back up until the balled
we got 3

Im a rookie/freshman this year and in part of our 3rd movement the flutes and clarinets made this cool box which moved while the sax line marched backwards into it. me and the flute player in front of me were called the F=hole. at one point the director yellled at the saxes so they wouldn't run me over. Also we nicknamed the saxes sax-a-penises.

before one of our pratices one of the freshmen guys was try to do a toe touch like one of the jounior girls it had just rain so it was slippery and when he kicked his leg up he lost his balance and fell back on his a** it was so funny

In our third movement, there's this one part where 2 other people and I march backwards through the color gaurd, to join the tail of a line of people moving backwards. One time I went in the wrong direction, trying to help the dude in front of me to get in the right direct, and I knocked a color caurd person over and got hit by lots of poles.

Oh my god, so much random stuff happened this year. (I'm a freshman.)
The funniest thing that I can think of that you didn't have to be there for was probably...
Before the first game and some of us were outside shining our Dinkles.
This one senior was near the wall, scrubbing his until they were super-shiny. (He's obsessed with shiny Dinkles. XD )
That was about the same time the giant spider tried to crawl up his pant leg.
He kicked it back onto the wall and some other guy managed to get it in an empty Gatorade bottle and freaked out the entire guard for a good twenty mintues. xDDD
Mind you, the senior is like, 6'4...XDD
So him going "HOSHIT" and flailing his leg to get a spider out is the most random thing since our director (Also 6'4) tried to do DDR...

i gots two stories... i fell on my butt this year...it wasnt funny. we were doing the band version of "suicides". we marched forward eight,back 8 , forward 16, back 16, and so on until we got to the 100s. a FRESHMAN knocked me down...5 seconds before i fell, i saw a saxophone FRESHMAN fall and then i thought "thank goodness that wasnt me!" and *klurplunk* i was on the ground....embarrasing..that FRESHMAN didnt even stop and help me up.
A couple weeks later..the shortest FRESHAM who was filling a spot for a person who fell took too small of a step and the TALL person next to her stepped on her show and trambled over her and than the "DOMINOES" thing happend. one by one 5 people trampled over the poor FRESHMAN...it was sad..

theres this one girl in pit right? and last year she looked up at one of our feild commanders at the last competition, and she said "Are you a feild commander??" and she had this look on her face like she was serious about the question. XDD lol. we all had a good laugh with that one. Oh and our basic innitiation with them is throwing rocks at them during stretches in the morning. XDD lol.
