This Dungeon is for:
1) 4 Co Beta 0.2.1: Leader 2) Warder: Second 3) Karythelia de'Varlen 4) Talos Kintsei
Lurea(withdrew)
Okay, before we begin, post your stats. Make sure you include the stats you get from whatever equips you bring with you, and specify which equips you're bringing with you. Remember, you are limited by your equip stat for items carried into the Dungeon Thread.
The Goblin Tribes are Migrating! Although it's a bit early, the Goblin Tribes are on the move, raiding and pillaging innocent farm folk. The desperate farmers have asked you to investigate the early migration, to discover the cause of the non-typical behavior exhibited by the bold creatures.
~Dungeon Specific Special Rule~
For the purposes of this Dungeon, the Enemy will also have a running Party Pool, usable by each series of encounters, as appropriate.
Subdual: If you so desire, you may state that your Normal damage is being used for Subdual this turn. All Normal Damage is halved for purposes of Subdual; Special and Magic damage is ineligible for the attempt. If a monster is reduced to 0 HP with Subdual damage, it is considered subdued, and can no longer participate in combat. A Subdued creature becomes eligible for interaction between combat, with no opportunity for further aggression.
Scouting ahead for Surprise attack: Successful Stealth Roll will result in a Surprise Round for the Group. Unsuccessful Stealth Roll will result in a Surprise Round for the Enemy. During Surprise round, the loser may only act defensively. When scouting you have two options:
Option A: Send single Scout; individual chosen rolls 1d6, 2 or better for successful stealth roll. Must make roll twice, once to investigate, and once to return. Option B: Move as a Group; Leader rolls 1d6, 4 or better for successful stealth roll.
Enemy Potion use: If your enemy attempts to use any potions during combat, the use will not occur until the END of the round. If the creature is killed before the end of the round, the potions it carries will be added to Party Treasure at the end of combat.
Party Treasure:
1 Healing Potion (Talos) Demonic Amulet (Warder) 200 chips
Consumables used:
4 Co; Healing Potion x3 (2 personal, 1 Party) Karythelia; Healing Potion x2(party) Warder; Healing Potion x2(party)

The team prepares itself, then heads to the outlying farm district, where the latest reports of goblin activity have occurred. Along the way, you encounter numerous farm folk, all anxious to escape the senseless mayhem. The story seems to be the same regardless of who you ask; many goblins, attacking in packs, looting and pillaging farms wherever they are seen. The general consensus seems to point to the Mountain ranges, a single day's march to the North.

"The farmers all say we need to head to the mountains in the north, lets head out." The group shifts from patroling the farms to moving toward the source of the goblins unusual travel pattern, marching toward the mountains. ((Take over here DM, you kinda left me with a redundant conclusion here...))

Warder followed the group, scanning the surrounding terrain. "I wonder if we'd be able to lay a trap of some sort, and follow those goblins back to their lair?" ((Just throwing out ideas.))

She pursed her lips thoughtfully. Goblins...
Karythelia swung her gaze northward and let her sharp eyes drink in the the landscape. There were probably miles upon miles of goblin tunnels crisscrossing under those mountains.
"A trap does sound like a good idea. And we might be able to beat out some info out of a goblin. Have you guys ever heard of goblins baiting adventurers?" A smile played on her lips. Whatever was in store for them would definately make a good fireplace telling.

Catseye Lurea "The farmers all say we need to head to the mountains in the north, lets head out." The group shifts from patroling the farms to moving toward the source of the goblins unusual travel pattern, marching toward the mountains. ((Take over here DM, you kinda left me with a redundant conclusion here...)) It may seem redundant to you; however as you now see, the most obvious choice is not always the only choice. Your team mates seem to have some ideas of their own. When you all decide what you want to do, let me know. We will continue from there.

"I've heard of smarter creatures baiting adventures, but not goblins. They are never quite clever enough. Well then, lets go set a trap for some goblins if that is the group consenus. It is a good idea and I guess I didn't really think of gathering much info before charging straight over to thier source. But when your as bored as I am, charging into the fray is just like a walk in the park. Let's brainstorm what kind of trap we are going to lay. I think that a simple bear trap with cheese in the center would be sufficiant. Then again we could accidentaly catch a bear..."

Warder smiled. "Funny you should mention bears, because I feel like that's what we're hunting. Growing up my father taught me two ways to hunt a bear, the first is to charge into its den with hounds and hope you can corner and kill him, but if he's bigger than you be ready for trouble! The second way, is to figure out where he goes to forage for food, and lay down some bear traps where he isn't expecting it." Warder took a breath, then continued, eyeing the landscape for an abandoned farm that hadn't been hit yet, figuring that most of the farmers would be fleeing in advance of the Goblin raiders rather than waiting to be hit.
"Now if these Goblins are the bear, and the farms are the berry bushes, what I think we need is to wait at the next berry bush on their stop, and clamp down on a manageably sized group of them, like a steel bear trap coming down on the beast's paw. From there if we're able to take a prisoner we could interrogate him, or if they flee we might be able to follow them back to the exact spot in the mountains they've made their base." He looked back to the group. "Either way, we'll at least have diminished their numbers some, and if it doesn't work we can still go charging in swords drawn. Let's just make sure we don't bite off more than we can chew, whichever way we go about this." He finished explaining his idea and then looked back to Lurea for the final word.
((It would also hinge on the GM (or is it DM in this?) working with us so that the Goblins actually come into our ambush at some point.))

The bard nodded in agreement, Lurea was right about the goblins. They're not exactly the most brightest of creatures but the things you here from other travelling lorewrights were always rather worrying, though they were like old wives tales and the subjects of those tales aren't always around forever.
"Sport hunting isn't exactly in my good books but you do make an interesting point Warder. Walking into an ant hill of goblins..." Karythelia voiced," Well sicking an angry bear on goblins would make an interesting story over some good hot food in the tavern." She rubbed her chin thoughtfully and surveyed the rest of the group.
"Do you think the famers would mind if we collapse their house?"
