Marie patiently sipped watyer from a small creek flowing through the valley she was currntly foraging in, it was nice , until the sun went and ruined it with its ray of heat. Marie grumbled as she picked thourgh the bushes at some berries. Savoring the ripe ones and spitting out those who were still not ripe enough, she continued picking at the bushes unil she bit into a pinecone, accidentally , of course. She shrieked in disgust. "What the hell was that!?!" She said as she spit out the remaining pieces of the cone in her mouth. She ran back to the creek, gulping down water, the taste of it was over whelming.

The unicorn flicked his lion-lke tail, tipped with a bright blonde as he walked. It was sunset, the sun was going down, and he was ready for a night of entertainment, no matter what it may be. His black horn, red tipped as if bloodstained, and indeed, it may very well be. He had once been a fighter, now he was nothing more than a puppy..
Unless you made him angry. That wasn't smart.
His body moved with ease as his cloven black hooves walked through the trees and tall grasses. The forest, was a lovely sight at night.. And even the Arrogant stallion could appreciate the darkness.
His eyes landed on the mare, and he stopped abruptly. She was at the same river that he was hoping to drink from. He truly hoped that she wouldn't b***h at him for taking a side, but he was thirsty, and water could soothe that.
"Well well. What do we have here?" He mumbled, finally picking up the pace and heading out into the open.

Marie lifted her hair, shaking off the water dripping from her snout. "I'm a mare, thank you very much. But im sure you knew that." She dipped her head slightly back into the river, gulping down more water, the taste of the pine cone was a pain in the a** to get rid of.
She lifted her head, satisfied that the taste was gone, she took a step back and looked over the stallion. She looked at him, he looked pretty normal at first, until she saw he had... a horn. She raised an eyeybrow and stared at it for a while. "Excuse me, but , you arent a normal stallion, are you?" She tilted her head, the curls perfectly groomed swayed from side to side as she moved her head from side to side.

A normal stallion? Indeed not! He was a Unicorn, a prideful, arrogant unicorn. But being normal would be an insult to his breed.
"I see you're a mare,pet. I'm not blind."
He said, dipping his head to the coolness of the water, and taking a few gulps, he lifted his head, and sent ocean blue eyes her way.
"Normal?" He pfft'd and shook his head. "Indeed not. I am a breed apart from the normal stallion."
He said, tilting his head and giving her his lopsided smile.
The dark, full of menace smile. As if he had a secret, and he wouldn't share.

Marie's stare quickly turned to a snarl. "Let's get this straight. I am not you're pet. Dont call me that. If anything you shall be my pet, if i am amused enough." She puffed up with pride and asked. "Then what exactly are you , hmmm~~?" She asked quite sure he would answer. Afterall , she was superior to him. Or atleast she thought so. His horn was nothing compared to her beauty , or so she though.

His eyesbrows knitted together, as he gave her a bit of a glare. How dare she speak to him that way.
"Whoa now. Who do you think you are? I am not some sodding poof that you can speak to like someone underneath you. Name's Spike. Legend in some areas, and stud in the rest of them."
He flicked his lion tail and shook his head.
"Im a unicorn, you prat."
He said, not really insulting her, but making it known he wouldnt be spoken to that way..

Marie giggled. "A stud and legend. Seems like Mr. Big shot has alot on his plate. Perhaps more then he can eat." She smirked as she dipped one hoof into the stream and splashed his feet, for no reason aparrently. "A unicorn, eh? Like the one's in the storys for foals?"
She took a step to the side and saw his lion-like tail. She then began to stare at the feature aswell.

He saw he looking him over, and was very unsure of whether she was approving, or just simply gawking at something she'd never seen before.
Unicorns were in childs stories?
"I assure you, I am not the unicorn that foals hear of in stories. Tad more dark than those prancing sods.."
He said, looking at he curls, and wondering how she got her mane to stay that way.
"Mr.Bigshot, eh? Surely not."
He stepped back a bit, shaking his hooves to clear them of the water.
"Heyy, you asked and Im telling.."
He said, looking at her with a confused look.

Marie laughed a bit, he wasnt so bad. " Oh. You're like the bady guy in the story then." She shrugged a bit while still maintaining a smirk. "How can you be a legend and a stud and not be a bigshot?" She blinked a tad.
She blushed a bit. "How dumb of me! I forgot to introduce myself." She bowed her head slightly. "I am Marie Von Helson. Marie for short, please. I only allow no-one to call myr by my first name, unless i am close to them." She raised her head up again from the bow. "So...." She had run out of things to say. Okward.

Spike looked at the mare and thought of what she said. Indeed he was the Big Bad you hear about in some stories. He had been the one of the darker Uni's from his lands.
"I guess you could say that." He said, puffing his chest up in pride a bit.
"I'm the Big Bad. It's a bit different than a Big Shot, pet."
He said. He wasn't calling her his pet, more of giving her the nickname he gave everyone. He wasn't doing it on purpose, but he was so used to it.
"Nice t'meet you, Marie. Pleasure Im sure."
He said, flicking his tail, and casting a glance at her.
"So I assume you're from a big name family or something.. "
He said, thinking of her long name. It was much like Naina.. Jean's daughter. Naina Juliana Belle Morte. But she had come from a good line of Soquili..Maybe Marie had too.

Marie felt a sudden rush of emotion as he mentioned her family. "I guess you could say my family is big. But i've exlied myself from them. It's a long story." She sighed a bit, she didnt even notice he had called her pet. "The big bad always had a certain appeal to him, and has a inner good. I suspecty you might have the inner good in you aswell, or perhaps im wrong?" Her tone was softer, less strong then before.

Inner good? He laughed a bit.
"Love, inner good is all good..But why have inner good and not outer good? If I do not look like I have any outer good qualities, then I am not good at all."
He gave a grin.
"Not good at all."
He wished he believed that. He had a hogwild personality, and he loved to get down and dirty with other creatures, even if it meant he himself gettinghurt.
Sometimes, getting hurt was just part of the game.
