Yes, this is the most random thing you can think of!
But, the uvula is in your mouth, which you need for a lot of things...
NOT THAT YOU SICKO!!!
Anyways, we needs mouths to sing, play brass, wind, and brass instruments, and for using our neighbor's violin strings as floss...

We also have a clear view of our soft pallet, another critical part of our anatomy to effective music making.

(You're suppose to lift your soft pallet to make the inside of your mouth bigger for better tone, all your wind, brass, and chorus people.)
